Post-Villain AU but the reader only forgives their favorite character. They might've even been the worst of the worst, but it doesn't seem to matter. The other acolytes watch in jealousy and confusion as their god pulls the favored one into their arms and doesn't let go. There doesn't seem to be criteria the cult can understand (it's not through how devoted they are, or by how long they've been in your presence, or by their constellations, or even by how much effort you've put into their build. Perhaps the character in question isn't even in your team yet!) - somehow, one of them has earnt forgiveness (and praise! Praise, from their god, even after all the atrocities committed against the divine one!) simply for breathing.

How would the favored ones feel in such a scenario? (In my case it'd probably be the Archons, who have been my faves since I first laid eyes on them, and Yanfei, because I'm vibing with my lawyer and could never hold anything against her)

xiao would be… confused? you’re like. unreadable. you seem happy but then you burst out. i mean it doesnt really make sense. emotion has never really been a thing. he will try his best to understand and assist you in anyway possible, but do try to be careful with him. i mean. being locked away in your room for hours to days on time cant be healthy. if he is one of your favorites then he probably wouldn’t notice it until someone brought it up to him. then he would go ask you, “is everything okay? im here if you want to talk.” if he isn’t your favorite then well. what can he do? he is to scared for you wanting to hate him and to scared for you to never bat him an eye ever again. do you like almond tofu? if so he’ll bring you some. maybe than you can eat together an maybe go to liyue.. but thats a stretch. so piece by piece. almond tofu by tofu. he’ll get there.

diluc is quite sad. you lock yourself up after all. first moment you’re fine and the second moment you’re ready to burn the entirety of teyvat and celestia. but of course, you make the choices, you are his god.. he can fix you a non-alcoholic drink for you. if thats to your liking. i mean if he is your favorite then. well he could care less for the others. i mean all that REALLY matters is that you are interacting with him and are happy around him? who cares for the others when they cry about you not give then a single look. if he can make it to your favorites, isn’t that really what matters most? if he isn’t your favorite then.. well. i guess you’ll get a lot of your favorite drinks at your table.

albedo albedo. the chief alchemist he is quite stoic. but you. when you don’t ever look at him, talk to him, care for him, or anything… there is nothing to be done. it hurts. but he knows he can’t go against your rule. gosh.. i mean. you have him sobbing on the ground begging god knows who for you to at least look at him. but all you do is hide away in your quarters. jealousy arises to him when others are your favorites. i hope you feel some type of remorse for him. he cares a lot about you and you have him begging for you to please, please stay for once. if he is your favorite then he tries to make the best of it. sure he definitely knows about your problem. but he tries to make you happy as much as he could. so. please be kind to him. he may be solid and cold on the outside, but really he just wants your love

venti would be happy. like really really happy!! you like to sing as well?? great!! AND you only sing in-front of a select amount of people that INCLUDES HIM?? even better!! honestly just marry him already. whether your singing is good or bad it’ll always seem great in front of the acolytes. after all everything you do is perfection! he likes to play the harp when you sing, both of you making the best band!! its also nice to just maybe sit on one of the mountains and just have fun together. its one of venti’s favorite activities with you! even though EVERYTHING you do with him is his favorite. honestly the best part is laying in your lap while you singing. just you and him. honestly he is so glad to have you as his god and would never change you for celestia.

i like the headcannon that diluc knows how to play the piano so it’ll be our basis for this oneshot. diluc adores your singing! he’d make a drink for you while your singing and for the first time in a while be smiling! after all your one of the last things in this world who’s soul isn’t tainted with evil. if you didn’t know diluc play piano! so sometimes if you ask him to he’ll play the piano for you when you sing. ill continue to say this over and over again. no matter how bad or good you are your perfection. your a god of gods, also i think they have a huge bias towards you so you’ll always have diluc there clapping after you’re finished. what he does when he finds out that you only sing in-front a select amount of people he’s proud of himself for being in the small percentage of your cult.

albedo

albedo who plays the violin just scratches my brain. albedo loves to draw, but also loves to play the violin. thats what you find out after singing a song to yourself and albedo hearing. he is surprised at the least that you don’t sing in front of more people in your cult. he isn’t complaining of course, he’s glad that you can sing in front of him with confidence and happiness. his favorite memory of you and him was actually when you were singing and he was playing the violin! while collecting supplies in monstadt you both take a break. its starts off with you humming a tune then full on song. funny thing is albedo always has a violin on hand. it makes me wonder how people fit so many things in their bags. well lets just say the bags in genshin impact are special and can fit all of my artifacts and food. anyways continuing on. albedo starts to play the violin, not to mention he looks really hot doing it. beautiful doing it. it was a rare moment to see albedo smiling. you say all the time on how you wish you had your kamera and could take a picture of him. (he doesnt say but he loves it)

it all started off with you getting sick, at first zhongli thought it was just something you caught and isolated away from others to protect you , but then it became a pattern. every month for around a week you would get really bad cramps and horrible symptoms. the best he can do is have healers by you easing the pain a bit. unlike the other world you were in you had to suffer and pray the pain medication would kick in soon here in teyvat there are healers and medications stronger then even prescriptions. thats a plus side i guess. your surprised to find out that… no one. and i mean no one. has a damn idea about what a period is. i mean that box of tampons/pads that somehow keeps getting refilled with magic, which no one has any idea what there for, thank you celestias for having a bit on mercy and not letting you free bleed. when you explain to zhongli what it is, hes on a search to try to find something to stop the pain. after a while of trying herbs and medication, you two find one that helps the pain and sometimes gets rid of periods all together. kinda like birth control but stronger. so now with the medication you can live a somewhat non-painful life.

xiao

xiao is… confused to say the least. while you two were walking the celestias thought it was a great idea to make you start now. like right now. we dont care if you dont have anything. xiao starts panicking when he sees blood which causes him to go adeptus mode. the first thing he does is bring you to the teapot. okay now there are a bunch of healers and doctors around you trying to figure whats going on. at first, you think this is all a joke being played on you, you realize xiao doesnt make jokes like this. do they really not know whats going on? you explain it to them. a bunch of “oohhs” are exchanged but with xiao it brings him sadness that you have to suffer every month. :c he knows what if feels like. for this section ill say that there is no help and its just the sanitary items. ciao will always get your favorite foods and hangout a lot. he needs to keep an eye on you when zhongli is out of course. zhongli is trying to find something that can help make you feel even a little better. xiao would do things with much more. for example, you want water? already done. breakfast? all made in bed for you to eat. ( or a table if you prefer that”)overall hes quite kind with your times. even when you get mad for no reason.

“When I was finishing up Teyvat and waiting for an opportunity to offer the idea to my little cousin, there were still doubts lingering in my mind about their security. I kept thinking ‘what if help doesn’t arrive in time’ or worse, ‘what if I don’t arrive in time?’ Thus, I ended up scouring through the humans on Earth in case they saw a solution my ancient eyes couldn’t.

Shortly after my search, I encountered service dogs.

The idea was so appealing to me that a thousand different factors immediately rushed into my mind on how to create the perfect service dog. It quickly became clear that I would have to consider the most brainless features to every miniscule detail I can recall.

For context, the divinity in our souls is automatically connected to our true bodies from birth, manifesting itself as fine golden fibers in our blood. In case you were wondering, yes, it’s also why we bleed gold. If the fibers are thicker than average, it’s indicative of pent up energy that needs to be released as soon as possible. If the fibers are too slim, which is the more dangerous yet common ailment, then the magic within us has been exhausted too much and it becomes harder to stabilize our realms.

My cousin was already fragile from the start, and their shocking incompetence at conserving energy only worsens their situation. If the dog was to serve them, I had to bestow a moderate portion of my own divinity to the dog so they can sense the condition of the fibers. But it didn’t end there. In the rare scenario where help isn’t nearby, the dog had to bark loud enough to be heard even if the world was undergoing an ice age. However, I soon remembered that wolves are generally vicious and predatory.

Why does that matter? Well, I wanted my cousin to be as relaxed as possible and to avoid exerting themselves too much. If a tiny, precious puppy no larger than a pillow is what’s required to ease them, then I will happily deliver.

Moreover, I also had to ponder about the dog’s personality. It should be playful enough during the day so that my cousin can get some amount of exercise, while simultaneously remaining composed, loyal, and protective. Then emerged the questions about the dog’s diet, talents, quirks, and whatever else could benefit my cousin’s health. For instance, it would be convenient for the dog to know how to fetch an oxygen mask (it’s very difficult to replicate the oxygen concentration of another divine being, regardless of blood relation).

Of course, the grueling trial of choosing a name arose eventually. Although, I personally thought that responsibility should be passed onto its owner.”

OKAY BUT LIKE, SERVICE DOG??? it’s such an interesting concept! no because now thinking about all of the trials the dog has to meet in able to be the so called perfect service dog since you know younger cousin needs help and all could make a very interesting storry!!! specifically angst. :) no cause imagine listening to older cousins voiceline and your just like 😃 because they are going so much in detail, also the thing about the blood? its like absolutely incredible! i mean thinning and thickening, i know this is small but i love how you use the word “realms” to me it just gives teyvat that enchanting catch to it! i wonder if it will be even possible to find a dog like that!
