Well, suffice to say, it's probably a safe bet to say the author has probably read and agreed with the incredibly racist post of

that's still circulating around the racist fandom here on Tumblr with what Platform Decay is now saying.

Just when you think the racism and slavery apologism cannot get any worse in a series that actively promotes itself as "robots are people too deserving of equal rights and dignity even if they don't look like humans" while failing to support that statement at every. single. turn.

This is not to say I'm back or will be active, even though I have popped in more recently, but something is on my heart that I wanted to try to see if I could cast a net for kindred folk to connect or possibly create that much needed marginalized pocket of a fandom.

On this post, either reply, reblog with commentary, or put in the tags the fandoms and/or entertainment media that isolated you or made you feel like you could not connect with it due to misogynoir, antiblackness, and/or colorism against Black female characters, actresses, or fans.

Let this be your sounding board and possibly, your chance to find others in that/those fandom(s) who really wanted to socially enjoy, but never found their pocket.

Okay I don't get involved in toxic fandoms or just.... Fandoms in general but did anyone see that tiktok video of a Caitvi fan smashing a Funko pop of Mel? All because they didn't get Caitlyn Funko Pop??? All you had to do was literally return it and get the Caitlyn one in exchange yet you do that.... At your big age? I don't even care for Mel that much but the arcane fandom is not beating the racism allegations.

Seeing that video is one of the main reasons why I don't get involved in fandom spaces because of how insanely racist they are towards black female characters.

How it feels to be in certain fandoms

Yt character: in going to commit genocide and kill everyone in my way even children. That's right I'm going to kill children!

Admin Zai: I would kindly prefer it if we not only get more good confessions about the black characters, but also a severe lack of negative confessions trying to be quirky or obtuse about the deep anti blackness that plagues the fandom to this day. In particular, confessions acting like it’s a crime to joke about how *insert black character* did nothing wrong or don’t have a valid reason to dislike them when y’all happily do it with the white characters.
