Hey everyone — I’m Matias, a programmer and pixel artist from Argentina. The situation on my country is dire, and I am currently unemployed. I cannot graduate from college without profesionalizing training, I. E. managing a project in an internship or job
Lately my laptop has been falling apart: the screen turns off at random angles, the charger barely works, and even the suspend function drains the battery fast. It’s getting really hard to keep working on my pixel art and coding projects (like my voxel renderer tool, AseVoxel), and I will hardly get any quick or easy job for college internship without a working pc.
I need to fix my current pc, as it has everything I use, and couldn't afford a new one even with donations
I’m raising a small goal to repair my setup — $45 in total to replace the busted charger, battery connection, suspend state, fix the screen flex, and get my workstation stable again.

I haven't reached my goal yet for her surgery, ^ ^; While she is doing fine I can't say she's doing 'better' either. Im still looking for a job + trying to make money on the side but it's very difficult.

as of currently we can no longer touch her finger without it causing her to cry and scream(or yelp VERY loudly) in pain as the tumor itself has mainly eaten away and pushed the nail out further and further from its original position. We keep it clean and trimmed as best we can, but even then it starts bleeding at times. She's able to run/walk/hop and has plenty of energy as she normally is, but she's still in great pain :c I would show a picture of how it looks but I fear it may be too graphic for tumblr to handle. That's now bad it is :(

Okay but in all seriousness that's pretty much what I'm doing here
This year has just been A MESS for me. From burnout to breaking my arm to my dearest editor getting covid to now ANOTHER BURNOUT
Honestly I should have learned by now that 1- whenever I try to over compensate for big delays by working extra hard that only results in more delays and 2- whenever I set up a deadline for myself I will miss it even if I was completely on track until the very last moment
Yeah uh shit is fucked. I have not done any writing over the last week no matter how hard I try, and my bills do not give a shit about that, so I'm very much broke right now and cannot pay for them
So uh... fun times all around
And that is why this is me begging for money, because I don't have any new works to show for it. What I do have is a lot of old works... in fact I have 90 fics on AO3 totaling to 360k words, or just about the entirety of Chronicles of Narnia
So for the next few weeks I'll be reblogging "old classics" from my collection while trying to bring attention to... well my financial situation
I still wanna get one last fic out which is like mostly done, but after that I'm taking a much MUCH needed two week break, before getting back to my usual schedule... hopefully... like please god let that happen
