Cute instances with my boyfriend

I am Canadian. My boyfriend Jin is 30, Korean and not on Social Media so he doesn’t get western humor or memes. His English is amazing but he does make mistakes with slang and has an accent. Over our near 2 years together I have had to teach him about memes, my sense of humor and internet culture. Here are a few instances

-I once said I was shook out loud to which he asked what it meant. I told him very surprised and shocked. Cue a few hours later he texts me in all capital letters, “I AM SHAKE.”

-After explaining to him the essence of a meme a few weeks later we were walking down the street holding hands. We see some drunk guy on the ground out of his mind. Guy tries to get up but just slumps over and falls asleep immediately. Jin points at him and says with a serious face, “Meme.”

-Watching a child outside a cafe throw a temper tantrum and he whispers to himself, “Mood.”

-Commenting whenever I send him something that isn’t actually a meme with “nice meme.”

-Calling them me-me’s at first

-Making a disturbed face and whispering what the fuck at really obscure ones

-Staring at me as I fortnite dance in place in the street and say “I love you bitch.” “Okay.”

-Pointing at a sweater with a fat dog on it saying “Like a meme. You like that.”

-Not understanding what yeet means and saying it with a completely blank indifferent face and voice when throwing something

-Sending me pictures of random things asking if I can use it as a meme to post online because he doesn’t quite get it but his heart is in the right place and he wants to help
