Look what’s back! After months!

Sooo after the Prince of Prussia, Augustus William, died in 1758, Henry was feeling pretty down. He blamed Frederick for Augustus’ death and wasn’t completely wrong... I mean, Augustus died of a blood clot clogging veins in his brain, but he had been pretty depressed ever since Frederick had yelled at him in front of the entire army and wouldn’t see any professional.

Frederick, being the non-egocentric, kind person he was, wrote a letter to Henry which basically read: “I know you’re sad, but think of me! Also do your duties and stuff.”

Henry himself said that “the poison of hate against Frederick” was eating him from the inside.

What a wonderful family.
