As I finished the drawing, I realized that most of the characters are variations of a single character or are simply clones of that character.

(Postscript: I was going to include more characters but I got tired of drawing. The characters that would have been included are: Jesse Anderson, Haou,Time, Ruri Kurosaki, Dark Link, XChara, and Breakdown).

Despite having a strong plot, did Black and White 2 have the most underwhelming character chemistry in Pokespe?

Maybe I just need to finish the last volume since I only just got it, but it felt to me that while Blake's character is fine and his plot was great, and while Whitley's character is even stronger and her plot even more developed, and both plots dovetail together perfectly, they don't have the chemistry that most other main pairs in Pokespe have. For that matter, Whitley doesn't have the same chemistry with Hugh as her game counterpart does (Hugh absolutely makes the games for me! I love the little raging ball of fuck you and his eternal quest to kick every member of Pokemon PETA in the dick for stealing his cat when he was 7).

It's just weird to me, since the chemistry between characters tends to be the strongest part of Pokespe.
