This one is for everyone who knew and loved Ladynepthyss

For anyone who does not yet know, it is with deepest sorrow that I inform you all she passed away this past February due to medical complications. (I don’t know more about her death than that, so please don’t ask).

To everyone who was kind to her, everyone who was a friend, everyone who followed her work, who sent her encouraging asks, or commented on her fics, I cannot thank you enough. You brought joy into a life that could often be quite dark and difficult. Thank you so much for being there for her.

I am making this post because I need the help of anyone willing to give it.

I have been trying to find her writings to keep to remember her by. However, this is proving difficult because Ophelia had a tendency to delete old writing.

If any of you happen to have copies of works and chapters that are not currently here on tumblr or Ao3 that you feel comfortable sharing (especially her hetalia stuff), I implore you to send it to me. I would be forever grateful.

Also, if any of you have kept any of her edits, especially her faceclaims, please send me those too.

In general, if any of you remember

her physical descriptions and/or face claims of her characters (and locations) in her stories (especially I almost shiver)

A scene from on her fics (especially I almost shiver) that would make a good cover piece for a book of her works

Know any artists who she followed/liked

Please please let me know

So ophelia is back at it again where she writes up a long pity passage about how mean Black people are to her for liking Shakespeare or whatever. Not that it matters to her that the majority of Black blogs that called her out are a part of alt or geek culture. In her eyes we are all the same MTS fanatics. Does it go against her idea of how Black people are allowed to enjoy things that aren’t considered part of “Black culture”? And that we shouldn’t be grouped together? Of course, but at this point I think we get that was never her true stance. The only ones who don't care enough to check how credible her ludicrous statements are are her truther friends

Anyways, what I really wanted to bring up was this part of the passage (tw: slur mention)

I already went into the actual context of this here, so if you care enough to read up on it, go right ahead

I got the second screenshot through a mutual, and assumed this was directed @ me. Also because I got a few random anons about her around the time she started doing this. But now I see she continues to use other people’s words (taking out entire contexts and straight up lying) to make it seem these two blogs are harrassing her

Her new thing is telling people she deleted her supposed evidence because it upsetted her, even though she continues sending people to harass these blogs. It’s obvious that’s her way of avoiding telling people the truth, and others looking back at her previous statements

oh man! short version is what Katniss speculates about in Mockingjay: that Peeta would fight for her with all he had, and I think that’s true; Prim and her mother would too; from a political standpoint, I think they’d use Peeta’s grief as a selling point and try to keep Katniss as a compelling image but leave her mostly out of it until Coin sends her off to join Squad 451 (to presumably die 🙊)

update, so this is also posted on my @visibilityofcolor blog but I also want to post it here so that it can show up in her tags as well! she has my blogs blocked so she cannot see this nor it is it my intend for her too--but it’s important for me that people looking in her tag see this so they know harmful she is. i also don’t check this blog either but just wanted to post it here especially since as of yesterday he is still mentioning/harassing me.

I absolutely hate that I have to do this, but no matter what I try to do, the harassment keeps coming back up.

That said, I have created a detailed callout document for ladynephthyss/melanthae or opehlia. This google doc complies her transmisogyny, her support of tranadrophobia and the racist/transmisogynstic creator and community, her racism, her harassment, her suicide baiting, her lies and the way she explicitly targets black people and opens them up to be racially harassed.

a lot of you may know her as the ‘hot girl summer girl’ or the girl who made another variation of hotgirlsummer and was harassed for it. and while she didn’t deserve to be harassed, that doesn’t excuse her anti blackness, her transphobia and her dangerous personality in general.

It goes without being said, but ladynephthyss and her friends, do not share, interact with me or comment on this post.

tw lesbophobbia, anti black racism, slurs, transmisogyny, stalking, suicide baiting, etc. Opehlia is not a good person, at all. She is actually terribly, esepcially to Black women and trans people.

It is currently a SLAB/DEAD AF. I'm in the process of tearing everything down and flattening all my cliffs the hell out. I'm probably like 3/4th's of the way through tbh. IT'S ARDUOUS AND MORE THAN I BARGAINED FOR LOL BUT LIKE...MY OG ISLAND WAS NEVER EVER FINISHED. She popped off in places, but she wasn't like,,,super consistent. Here were some highlights though:

to add onto anon: you can get into legal mess taking money for writing fanfiction because the source material isn't your own. my parents have been wanting me to make money off of my fic called i almost shiver, a vampire au of daphne du maurier's rebecca, but i can't publish it because i don't have the rights.

i do wish that i could make money off of my work like artists do, but I think the most one would be able to do is maybe ko-fi, but that depends.

An excellent point. There are a lot of youngin’s around these parts who don’t remember the pervasiveness of the author disclaimer… “I don’t own xxxx or it’s characters…” on fanfiction works. The purges. The cease and desists… it’s a different culture now but all it takes is a few pissed off published writers to turn it into something ugly again. So nope. I shan’t be breaking the law today.
