Light and warmth fill the small cabin room; the only sounds heard were the crackle of the fire and the steady breath of Y/n as she fell asleep, her head nestled into Paul's chest. From an outsider's point of view she couldn't have looked comfortable but to Y/n there's no place more comfortable than where she is right now. 

Paul's left arm supported her head as it rested against it. His arm sort of caged her head right to his chest. He used his left hand to run his fingers through her hair in the softest most gentle motion possible, careful to not snag his fingers in any knots. Not that she would have any knots in her hair as it was the silkiest and smoothest hair he's ever felt. He could still smell her shampoo; it smelled like a fresh Ocean breeze with a small hint of a floral scent. He could feel her steady breath, alerting him that she was fast asleep with her head snuggled into his chest. His right arm was holding onto her waist like his life depended on it. Their bodies were already as close as possible and tangled within each other but he still felt like he needed her closer. There was a fire burning behind them in their living room. The crackle of the flames seemed to have been in a rhythm with her breath as she breathed in and out. It was moments like these where Paul felt like the world stopped and allowed him to live in the moment for as long as possible. To him, nothing else mattered. No werewolves, cold ones, or any other drama mattered in this moment. Just her, in his arms, safe. Paul let the smell of Y/n and the sound of fire lull him into one of the most peaceful sleeps he has ever had in his lifetime. A faint smile could be seen on his lips as he drifted away.

I toss my bag down as I walk in my front door, pushing the door closed behind me. Friday night. Paul should be coming over. Suddenly my stuffy work clothes didn’t seem fitting—not even for a couple of beers and jeopardy reruns. I let out a hefty sigh, my lips trilling as I do, and run down the hall to change. 

All day I’ve been thinking about last Friday, sitting on Paul’s truck, his hand sliding over my hip, pressing to my back, his breath fanning my face— I can feel myself getting turned on just thinking about it. I want him to rip off my clothes and have his way with me. The longing for it isn’t even embarrassing anymore. 

I put on matching black underwear and look at myself in the mirror for just a moment. Sliding my hands over my curves, I resist the urge to touch myself thinking about how he flipped me on top of him as though I weighed nothing. How badly I want him to smother his face between my thighs should be illegal. 

I tug on a pair of tights and throw a big pullover sweater. Before I can criticize the outfit too harshly or decide this is ambitious, these tights are just a titch too sheer over my thighs, he’ll see me and find an excuse to leave—there’s a knock on the door. 

“Coming!” I walk briskly toward the door but it opens before I can get there. Paul’s eyes land on me and his lips part just a little. His eyes rake over my body and he swallows hard. There’s a moment of throbbing between my legs and I swallow hard in suit. 

“Sorry I, uh, I thought you said come in.” 

“Not a problem.” He’s wearing those same old cutoff shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt that hides nothing. My mouth is dry and I pull my gaze away from him. “Beers?”

“Beers.” He clears his throat and I turn towards the kitchen, closing the door behind himself. 

Paul

Christ, Elle wearing those tights is not going to help with my blue balls. Neither will her checking me out. I watched her eyes slide across my shoulders, catching on my hands—

“Beers?” She turns before I could answer, interrupting the tension. 

“Beers.” I agree, adjusting my pants and following her to the kitchen. I lean on the island and, as she leans down to grab the beers, I can spot the Lacey edge of her panties showing through the stretched tights, her sweater having slid just over the edge of her ass. I quietly hiss in a breath before looking away and mentally hitting myself for being a creep. As I have my eyes focused up on a crooked cabinet door, I hear her set down a beer in front of me.

We’d moved over to sitting on the couch. On our second round, I sit with my back to the arm of the couch and my legs running across Paul’s lap. Mindlessly, his fingers draw little circles on my lower thigh. Although mindless, anytime his finger goes a titch higher than it was he seems to correct himself, moving his hand down to my knee. While respectful, I hate these corrections. Each time his warm hands slips up, I want him to keep going. Whether purposeful or not, he’s teasing the shit out of me. Fine. Two can play at this game. 

On the table behind the couch sits a candle with a lighter. Sitting up, I position myself on my knees, one draped over his lap, and lean over his shoulder. I grab the lighter and try lighting the candle. Almost immediately, I can feel his fingers grazing up the outsides of my thighs. Even through my sweater, I can feel his breath against my chest and my nipples are quick to harden. I bite my lip, remaining where I am for a moment longer than necessary. Slowly, I sink down on my knees, allowing my hands to brush down through his hair and press to his neck. While I’d intended to return to my previously occupied spot, I center myself over his lap instead. 

My left hand slides down onto his chest, my right arm remaining draped around his neck. He’s breathing heavy, eyes flickering up and down between eyes and my lips. His hands run further up my thighs, holding my hips. 

“Elle—“ it’s a whisper, not in protest but perhaps in confusion. 

“Shhhh” I hush him, slowly grinding my hips down against him. “Is this okay?” Quietly. 

“God yes.” His grasp on my hips tightens as he shoots up, pressing his lips against mine. I kiss him hard, gripping his hair. The grinding becomes faster and harder along with the growing bulge in his pants. I moan against his lips and pause for just a moment to pull off my sweater. He pauses, looking at my chest then up at me. 

“Please.” I don’t anticipate how breathy my voice sounds but it’s all the encouragement he needs. He kisses down my neck, down my chest, I toss my head back. “Paul—“ I moan his name and he lets out a growl, flipping us over so I’m laying on the couch. He reaches down, rubbing my clit and I whimper, eager to return the favor I reach down and palm his bulge. He grunts and just the sound of his need, his desire, and I could unravel just like that. 

Paul’s phone starts ringing and he stops, groaning and dropping his head into the crook of my neck. I whine at the sudden stop. 

“Let it go to voicemail.” I drag my nails across his scalp in an attempt to get him to agree. Looking at his phone screen, he groans louder. 

“It’s Sam.” It’s my turn to groan. 

“I hate Sam.” I pout and Paul chuckles. Kissing me briefly, he sits up and answers his phone. 

“Hello?… Jared’s on patrol tonight…. Fine, but Kim better be getting a visit at work for him ditching.” He hangs up and tosses his phone aside, running his hands through his hair. “I’m so sorry, Elle—“ the look of guilt on his face tears me up inside. 

“I know, it’s okay.” I smile, grabbing my sweater and leaning up to kiss him on the cheek. “Maybe just turn your phone off next time.” I stand up, tossing my sweater on, but before I can toss out the bottles, he stands and grabs my wrist, pulling me back for another kiss. 

“You don’t know how bad I want this.” He palms my ass, kissing me. I have to stop him, he has to go, but god I want this. “Hearing you moan, feeling your body—“ as if on cue, I moan lightly before whining. 

“Paul.” I put a hand on his chest and lean my forehead against his chest. “You have work.” 

He huffs but nods, kissing my head before stepping away and heading towards the door. 

“Elle?” I turn and look at him, biting my lip. 

“Paul?” I mock his tone. 

“Let’s do this again. Maybe…with dinner?” 

I nod and smile, blushing. “I’d like that.”

“Cool.” He nods, smiling. 

“Cool.”

He looks at me for a moment more, biting his lip before clicking his teeth and shaking his head. Turning, he leaves for work. 

I lock the door before looking for my vibrator, desperate not to forget the feeling of him.

A/N: Hi everyone!! I know it’s been awhile, but I hope you enjoy :)

“(Y/N), can you go grab some sodas out of the garage? The boys should be back soon and I really wanna get these pies in the oven before then,” Emily asked while she finished chopping the apples for one of the pies she was making.

“Yeah, of course,” I smiled before heading outside. It wasn’t until I got outside that I realized how cold it was and that I probably should’ve grabbed my jacket. I quickly rushed over to Sam and Emily’s garage to grab two twelve packs of whatever soda they had in there.

As I was struggling to carry them across the driveway again, I saw the boys make their way out of the woods and over to the house. 

“(Y/N)!” I heard Paul call out to me. “Let me take those.”

I tried to protest, but he had grabbed them out of my hands before I had even said anything. Paul then promptly shoved the two packs to Embry who happened to walk by us next.

“Oof,” Embry huffed as Paul basically whacked him in the chest with them.

“Why aren’t you wearing a jacket?” Paul asked me, completely ignoring Embry. 

“I was supposed to only be outside for a few minutes, but you’re distracting me,” I laughed at his overprotectiveness. 

“It’s practically snowing, babe,” he explained, leading me back into the house while rubbing his warm hands up and down my arms to warm me back up. “Taking a few extra minutes to put your jacket on won’t kill you.”

“Okay dad...” I teased him as we walked back into the warm house, which caused him to blush a bit. He leaned in and kissed my right cheek, then my left cheek, then my nose, and then finally my lips.

Now it was me blushing as I pulled away from him, embarrassed about the PDA in front of the pack.

“Paul...” I trailed off, but was cut off by his lips again. We were interrupted by the hoots and hollers of the other guys and Paul pulled away this time to flip them all off. He kissed me on the forehead before pulling me down the hall and away from all the chaos in the kitchen.

“Aren’t you hungry?” I asked him, confused why he wasn’t immediately going to grab some of whatever Emily had made for dinner. 

“I just wanted to have some alone time with my wife,” he told me softly as he pulled me onto the couch with him. “I missed you.”

“You’ve only been gone a few hours,” I laughed as he pulled me on top of him so I was straddling him and he was nuzzling his face in my neck. 

“A few hours too long,” he groaned as I wrapped my arms around his shoulders and pulled him closer. “I love you.”

“I love you too, baby,” I whispered. “What’s gotten into you tonight? Not that I’m complaining...”

“I just love you,” he replied. He seemed like even he was confused about his own behavior. Usually this kind of affection was reserved for our own home. “Are you feeling better since this morning?”

“Yes, much better,” I answered him truthfully. I had thrown up this morning before he had gone to work and it had taken a lot of convincing this morning for him to even leave me.

“That’s good,” he stroked my cheek with his thumb. “I don’t like seeing you like that.”

I glanced up towards the doorway and saw Sam standing there. I tried to move off of Paul, but he just pulled me closer and turned us so that he could look over at Sam.

“Hi Sam,” I blushed at the compromising situation he had walked in on.

“(Y/N),” he smiled at me. “Emily sent me in to tell you she’s saved some dinner for you guys, but you need to move quick before Jake and Seth find out.”

“Well I would say we would be out soon, but somebody is being clingy tonight,” I laughed, referencing Paul.

“That’s understandable though,” Sam replied matter-of-factly. “When Emily was pregnant I could barely keep my hands off her.”

“Wait what?” I asked as Paul and I both snapped our heads over to look at Sam in alarm. 

“Umm... I just figured you knew,” Sam explained awkwardly. “I’ve been able to hear the heartbeat for almost a month now so I assumed Paul must have figured it out.”

We went silent again and I could see a look of concentration on Paul’s face. 

“Oh my god,” he whispered after a moment of silence. “I can hear it.”

“You can?” I breathed out.

“Yeah,” he smiled at me with tears in his eyes.

“I’ll just leave you guys to it,” Sam smiled softly at us before leaving the room.

“I can’t believe you didn’t hear it until now,” I giggled at him. 

“I didn’t even realize that was a thing I could do,” he laughed with me before pulling me closer and kissing me.

“I love you,” I whispered to him. 

“I love you too,” he said to me. “And this baby... so much.”

Having a werewolf as your boyfriend has it's pros but a lot of cons. So much so that I've considered leaving, but before I can be impulsive enough to pack my bags and leave Forks, my boyfriend, Paul, convinces me to stay. Paul was always hot-headed and had problems control his anger, but once he imprinted on me, it mellowed down to the point where it was almost none existent. Or at least for me. That was until one silly fight at school one day.

*Flashback*

As the release bell rang, everyone in my English class raced out, eager to get home and not have to worry about school work over the weekend. Like every day, I was slower than most. And unlike most, I didn't mind school. It made me feel normal compared to the rest of my life.

"Hey, beautiful," Paul whispered in my ear as I opened my locker. He wrapped his arm around my waist as I muttered a swift "hello" while packing my books into my small locker. Once they were all crammed in there, I turned around and kissed my boyfriend's cheek and led him outside to my car so we could drive over to the reservation.

We were in the middle of the courtyard when a rough shoulder slammed into mine. I stumbled and almost dropped the backpack slung around my shoulder. Paul and I looked behind us to see a buff looking boy around our age walking past us. "Hey! Watch where you're going!" Paul shouted after the guy who stopped in his tracks.

He turned around hesitantly, and that's when I realized it was just harmless Jacob Black. He was a year younger than Paul and me and was in the midst of his transformation. "Sorry, didn't see her," Jake lied.

"The hell you did!" Paul defended me, and I sighed.

"Paul, it's fine. Let's just go," I mumbled, and he shook his head, not taking his burning eyes off Jacob.

"No, no, he's treating you like you're some type of -- of dirt or something. And a kid doesn't get to treat you like that!" My boyfriend snapped, and I tried to grab his arm, but he shrugged it off. "You think you're a tough guy? Huh? Just because you're all buff and cut your hair off doesn't make you an actual wolf like me," he hissed and neared Jake with a glare.

Jake scowled at Paul and said, "don't get me upset. Things will get very ugly." I gasped when Paul grabbed Jacob by his shirt's collar and tugged him down to his level since he was slightly taller than him.

"They will get very ugly if you disrespect my girl again. Now I suggest you run along to Quill before his transition finishes and he's with Sam. If I ever see you again, Black, I will kill you," Paul threatened, which made me gulp. He's never threatened anyone to this extent before and it kind of scared me. He let go of Jake, who looked unamused.

"Ay, Paul!" Jacob called to him, and Paul whipped around. Paul was going to ask what Jake could want when Jacob's fist collided with his face. Paul stumbled less than a foot before whipping his now bloody nose and looking back up at Jake.

He started advancing towards the other tan boy when two pairs of arms held him back. Embry and Jared struggled to keep Paul contained as he tried to hit Jake back. "Walk away, Paul!" Embry yelled at my boyfriend.

"Shut up, newbie!" Paul barked and shoved Embry to the ground. Since Jared was stronger than Embry and more experienced, he was barely able to hold Paul back. I raced towards Paul, who was huffing and growling in anger.

"Y/N, get outta here!" Jared warned, not wanting the same thing that happened to Emily to happen again.

"Paul. Paul. Calm down, okay? It's okay. Shhh. Paul," I soothed and grabbed the sides of Paul's face, but he still never moved his eyes from Jacob. "Look at me," I grabbed his chin and made him look at me. His temper calmed down a little once his eyes met mine.

"It's okay. See, I'm fine. You need to calm down, okay? Jacob wants you to get mad, don't let him get that satisfaction. Calm down, Paul. Please," I pleaded, and Paul's snarls slowly went quiet as he relaxed. Once he was completely calmed down Jared, let go of him, and Jake had already fled.

I let out a sigh of relief and tugged on his hair. "I thought you had your anger under control, bubba," I muttered and saw the two other werewolves leave my boyfriend and me alone.

Paul took a deep breath and shook his head. "I guess not," he frowned.

"Come on, let's get home. We can talk about it later."
