Back in high school, my Spanish teacher would show us a new song every Wednesday (Miercoles de Musica, he called it) to help us learn the language. I still listen to a lot of those songs plus more that I’ve picked up along the way. But tell me why the one part I know the best in all the songs is the section that was sung in Portuguese, not Spanish

found out learning a language is fun if you just study the text from stuff you like and so I've been studying each pearls japanese translation in rain world. anyways the notebook i found for it had a clear cover so i drew this for it

i finished squeezing all the info out of the tuquoise(???) pearl, for some reason the english version isnt on the wiki but its the one where moon talks about her and five pebbles having different water slurper thingies idk what theyre called. water containers. water. water thingies. idk man. ive started on the pearl where moon talks about her essay on sliver of straw the differences r super interesting

so uh I was trying (keyword: trying) Italian on Duolingo (very first lesson) and I just. Could. Not. BECAUSE HELLO IN ITALIAN IS STORMING SALVE. Like in Latin. Because it’s a Romance language. I DO NOT WANT TO GREET PEOPLE LIKE A ROMAN SOLDIER. Wtf Italian.
