Hey, I apologize if I'm bothering you or if you've answered this before, but what was your overall experience at LCAD? I plan on majoring in storyboarding and I think LCAD looks great, but I'm somewhat hesitant since it's a bit smaller in comparison to other art colleges.

I can’t give an opinion on LCAD anymore because all the professors that I actually liked and felt I learned important skills from are no longer teaching there. I liked my time there overall, but it was because of these folks.

Also, you shouldn’t judge a school by its size. I find smaller schools tend to work out much better than larger ones. You have a better chance at one on one help than at larger alternatives, but it depends on your preference and what sort of resources you’re looking for in a school.

Honestly, art school is expensive. My personal opinion is that ALL art schools are rip offs. If you’ve got alternatives on the mind, these two independent schools are actually where all those professors I talked about migrated too.
