Current class assignment is to write a two-page paper on a topic that can be summed up in one sentence. Ah, college. Some things haven't changed at all in twenty years.
Learning is kinda fun tbh, like sometimes I think woah its wild that I can learn something so fun and interesting in less than 15 second online. We live in such a strange world🌎
Okay so I tried one and, uh.... An Attempt Was Made!
It is important to keep in mind the things you like about a work as you embark upon the learning journey of self-critique.
I do really like the color combo of the teal wire on the white sea glass. It is reminiscent of gentle waves on a warm sea.
I managed to get the frame pretty solid. I can shake the pendant a whole bunch and it doesn’t wiggle even a little bit.
That said...I need to learn to make my maneuvers smoothly and in decisive, single movements. I wembled about tool placement and angles and ended up borking some parts of the wire. I like the weave pattern but it would definitely benefit from being composed of smoother, more evenly spaced arcs.
Additionally, the bail is a hot mess. I need to get a feel for when and how to trim my end so I can hide more of them as I wrap, rather then trimming them and then having to try to tuck the ends in.
Idk. 5/10 fun process but I have a lot of learning to do.
On to the next!
ticks are NOT insects. bug ≠ insect
ill keep that in mind thank you for telling me, i was not informed 🫡🫡🫡❣️
I'm wearing my favorite yellow dress and hat. I'm dressed like my favorite mario character Olivia. That's actually the name I go by when I'm a person. I try to look like what she'd look like as a person and stuff...it's fun. I like going to school as Olivia.
This cool thing about time that is happening for me right now - there are all these topics I tried to research 20-25 years ago that were SO SO hard to find information on! There was hardly any non-mainstream topics on the internet (what internet there was) and libraries, for all their amazing qualities, were still somewhat limited and not all of them did intra-library loans at all. Learning stuff has just gotten SO MUCH easier! It’s so cool! So now I get to revisit things again that I had just... given up on? And I’m learning so much!
I am officially free from college and on winter break. Now it's time to clean out my Netflix queue, read a bunch of fanfic, and cook some snickerdoodles :)
