Dating Headcanons with Leatherhead (2012)

🐊- He is a hefty boi. You are a tiny person. He will be nervous at the beginning of your relationship, meaning his insecurities will start all over again about the sheer size difference between you two. You’ll have to reassure him multiple times that he’s not going to hurt you or anything.

🐊- Though he is an intelligent mutant, he still has his alligator instincts. Expect him to give you cuddles by having you lay on your stomach, him resting his head on your back, and letting out low growls. This type of cuddling session occurs during alligator mating season (April-June).

🐊- When you two are in a romantic relationship, he decides to introduce you to meet his best friend, Mikey. You two immediately hit it off, and Leatherhead just ends up falling in love with you all over again, seeing you getting along with him and his brothers. It’s so apparent that even the turtles and their human companions can see the love in his eyes.

🐊- Respect Human Juice™. The fact that you aren’t a mutant is continuously on his mind, so he’ll do his best to provide anything you need as a human. He has no shame in asking you questions if he is confused about why you do things a certain way. You don’t mind answering since his genuine curiosity is just so adorable.

What are the some of the common difficulties you face in your daily life as a huge mutant? Like I'm pretty sure it must not be easy for you to hold all the tiny stuff we humans generally use.

One of my biggest difficulties is small delicate things like teacups. Leonardo always offers tea when I come by the lair. I’ve accidentally broken many teacups, so now my friends offer me larger bowls of tea that are easier to hold and harder to break.

The biggest difficulty as always is avoiding human detection, but compared to other things that have gone on in New York recently, a large alligator in the sewers is fairly normal apparently.

Did you know crocodiles and alligators also love basking? I think it would be absolutely adorable if Leatherhead basked with the turtles

Gatordad au refs. Although the only turtle design I'm happy with is Leo's XD, this is just to give you guys a rough concept of how they look, I could change absolutely everything tho. If anyone has any questions about this au, then shoot. I love answering queries!
