where you accompany mark while he composes new music, but under the comfort of his arms you can't help but fall asleep.

lily notes. i love mark, i really think he would make a very clingy boyfriend. he is my clingy boy. <3
you couldn't help but sit on his lap when you saw him. mark was so focused on composing his music, he didn't notice his glasses slowly slipping off his nose.
his brown hair stuck to his forehead thanks to the hat he was wearing. his glasses fell down the bridge of his nose as he leaned over your shoulder. his hands hit the table in search of creating melodies while his tongue hummed inside his mouth.
while one of his hands hit the table, the other emanated heat on your waist, caressing it with his thumb or lightly squeezing the flesh.
you placed your hand on his, caressing his fingers with yours. you heard him sigh for your soft hands between his hums. pleased by your soft touch.
you settled further between his legs, mark suddenly tightening his grip on your waist at your movements.
he sighed "don't move so much, baby" he told you, you were hitting his point and it distracted him.
you giggled "sorry" you kissed his cheek briefly, letting your head fall onto his shoulder.
he quickly kissed you back before continuing with his music. you stared at the ceiling as his throat next to your ear continued to work his vocal cords with melodies.
your waist was completely wrapped thanks to his arm, caressing your side from top to bottom. mark loved touching your skin, he loved feeling you in his arms.
and although he was more focused on composing, he could never stop paying attention to you. you were his warm stove when it came to affection. because you lit an effervescent fire in his chest.
when he saw you, touched you, kissed you, felt you.
he was composing music like a machine right now, because you were there. you were his inspiration, his oxytocin was produced by you, by your presence. you were his muse.
he turned to look at you slightly when he felt a sigh leave your lips and your head become heavier on his shoulder. you were falling asleep.
he couldn't help but smile when he saw your face. calmed down. in peace. your muscles didn't show even a hint of tension. you were calm in his arms, comfortable, safe.
his hand left the table to envelop you completely. composition could wait when it came to you.
he kiss your cheek silently, once, twice, three, four times.
"my beautiful girl," he murmured, feeling peace rushing through his body. his body and mind belong to you. his thoughts are yours, because you are the only thing that wanders in his mind.
he rested his forehead against your face, while his arms continued to surround you protectively. his hands sought yours, intertwining your fingers.
words were not necessary for mark, he felt you and could swear that you transmitted your love for him with your presence.
as he fell into the limbo of sleep, with you in his arms, he kissed you again. a warm, loving and sticky kiss, that conveyed more than a thousand words.
"i love you, my muse" he whispered before falling asleep.
The brightness of the morning sunlight through the curtains woke you up before your alarm clock dinged. You lifted your head from the pillow, unable to move any other part of your body due to the arm firmly gripping your lower back. You patted the nightstand until you found your cellphone, sleep still inhabiting your body too much to pick it up gracefully. The brightness of the phone made you close your eyes for a few seconds to get used to it, then you opened one of your eyes and groaned when you saw that there was only one minute left until your alarm clock could ding, the hopes of being able to sleep a little longer quickly leaving your body.
After turning off the alarm, you placed your head into the pillow again, sighing deeply before turning your body towards your boyfriend. Mark slept peacefully on your side, his arm around your body and his sightly mouth open, a few low snores coming out of it occasionally. You smiled, brushing the hair that partially covered his eyes.
Slowly, so as not to wake him, you gave him a light kiss on the cheek. Hesitantly, you pulled yourself out of Mark's grip, placing your feet on the cold floor, stretching your arms as you stretched, feeling your muscles relax from the night before, a smile on your lips as the memories flashed through your head.
Your moment standing up didn't last long, feeling two hands wrap around your waist and quickly pull you to the bed, you let out a startled cry, falling onto the bed next to your boyfriend. "Mark!"
He laughed in his hoarse morning voice, his eyes still half-closed, but the mischievous smile lighting up his face. "Where you think you're going so early?" he asked, his voice lazy, but full of affection. He made you return to the initial position, with his arm around your body, now with his face buried in your neck.
"Where I always go? Work." You protested, but your hand found its way into the man's soft hair, slowly caressing him the way you knew he liked. "Baby, I need to get up. Now."
"Five minutes..." he whispered in his husky morning voice into your neck, his arms wrapping you in a warm embrace.
You smiled, kissing the back of his neck. "But I don't have five minutes," you tried to get out of Mark's grip, failing miserably. "Mark!"
He climbed even higher on top of you, placing his body between your legs. "Dude, just five minutes!" he said, removing his head from your neck, kissing your lips. "I'll drive you." He murmured against your lips, trying to convince you.
"And...?"
"And I'll buy you breakfast at your favorite coffee shop, now let me kiss you," he rolled his eyes, kissing you slowly, one hand on the right side of your kiss and the other on your cheek. He tilted his head to the side to deepen the kiss, feeling you wrap your legs around his waist, pushing him closer. Your hand went down from his neck to his abdomen, feeling his body through his shirt.
He broke the kiss, kissing your cheeks and nose before smiling at you and saying, "Good morning, babe."
You smiled, lifting your head a little from the bed to peck his lips again. "Morning, simp."

laughter. the sound of laughter had to be your favorite music that drifted leisurely throughout the apartment.
be it hushed chuckles over a movie or a funny tiktok your boyfriend sent over to you, the rambunctious cackling that tailed your group of friends when they'd indulged a little too much in drinks after dinners that often than not happened in the home you shared with mark–you cherished them all the very same.
before you moved into the flat on the tenth floor, the highest any residential building went in the street equidistant to both of your workplaces, you had some doubts. mostly concerning how eerily quiet it tended to get even with the faint honks of traffic in the heart of seoul.
you could owe it to your upbringing in the city, never once truly alone despite how easily it was slipping into a faraway headspace. you still did that sometimes but after meeting mark, the use of your headphones that'd found purchase against your ears got lesser and lesser. until you could go days just listening to his little tangents.
of course, it was more because of the fact that you adored how his whole face brightened as he shared with you something, anything he held dear. the way his soft brown eyes twinkled as he animatedly explained his point made you lose all sense of reality.
once in sophmore year of college, he had stopped for half a minute and then chuckled at you staring at him in awe. it had taken him waving his hand before you and a "hello, earth to _______? do i have something on my face?" for you to realize your embarrassing predicament.
only mark didn't seem to find it odd. no, on the contrary he found the gesture endearing. he had that tendency to ramble, everyone told him as much. but for you to listen to every word and hang onto it infused a swell in his heart, a giddy feeling he honestly did not want to suppress.
with mark, everything came in it's most simple form. relationships were not supposed to be easy, each one had it's own complications as did yours. but with him you knew you would always try to work through every rough patch because your boyfriend was willing just as much.
you had put an official label on your relationship in junior year, and not being strangers to the amount of teasing that would ensue from your rather large circle of friends, you had decided to keep it lowkey, letting them find out on their own and ease into it.
but with your streak of not keeping your hands–or lips for that matter—off each other, it took them two weeks flat to figure it out. but that's on johnny and his inability to knock on doors as he strutted into mark's dorm as if it was his own, oblivious to you both tangled in each other's arms on the small sofa pushed against the wall beside the balcony.
to your surprise, no noticeably grand change came with the reveal. in johnny's words, you and mark had always been sort of touchy with each other even as friends. he told you to keep the make-outs to a minimum and nobody else would know for sure.
after graduation, mark had mustered up the courage to ask you to move in with him. he had put a lot of thought into it—scoured for decently sized apartments, looked for help from his older friends and even went as far as to ask your parents for their opinion.
of course, the one answer that mattered was yours but even the fact that he asked your parents made you feel elated. and it definitely earned him their seal of approval.
the hesitant question had followed a meal of chinese takeout for dinner as you leaned your head on his shoulder, watching the movie playing in the living room of his childhood home, an arm wrapped around his waist. you had noticed his skittishness all night and it all came to a head as he played with the ends of your hair.
"i was thinking", mark started, taking your hum as approval to continue while you lowered the volume of the tv. "and seriously you can take as much time to think or even say no, i won't force you."
this time you turned to face him fully, a frown creeping up to your face. "what is it, markie? is something wrong?"
"i– well..." he took a sharp breath, eyes never once meeting your own. "i was thinking maybe you can move in with me?"
the silence that followed only plummeted his heart further down his stomach. mark moved an inch away from you, grabbing the remote from your grasp while shaking his head. "never mind. it's way too soon to think of that stuff, right? that's was a sudden, stupid ques—"
"don't say that. nothing you said is stupid." regaining your voice, you shifted closer to him, your grip sliding up his arm and towards nape as you rubbed the area. his shoulders slouched visibly, irrate heartbeat slowing just a little.
you smiled up at him, deft fingers smoothing across his across his brow and finally resting against his cheeks. it took a little tug for him to finally face you, mouth opening and closing as he wracked his brain for the appropriate words to find him when you spoke again.
"i would love to move in with you, mark."
as much as you loved mark when he's talking, sometimes you took great pleasure in rendering him speechless.
as quick as lightning he held your wrists with widened eyes, stopping the advances of your hands down his perfectly sculpted face. you brushed his knee softly as his adam's apple bobbed with a dry gulp.
mark found it hard to even formulate a thought, let alone speak. just when he'd started believing all of this was a bad idea, horrendous really, your admission nearly made his brain short-circuit.
"woah, wait— no. what?" he stumbled over the words eliciting a giggle out of you. "run that by me again, baby. i don't think i heard you correctly."
swatting his shoulder playfully, you took liberty to throw a leg over his, straddling his lap. "you heard me just right the first time, lovie. i think we should do it, move in together. i mean, we have somewhat stable jobs and it would stop us from inconveniencing your parents or mine. honestly, i love your mother but i got goosebumps when she winked at me on the way out."
mark managed a chuckle, rubbing up and down the sides on your legs on either side of him. this had been your arrangement after college. date nights in either of your houses meant the parents always had to leave unless they wanted to walk in on their not-so-little-anymore kids doing anything reserved for behind closed doors.
suddenly, you found yourself being pulled forwards into his chest as his ecstasy evolved into child-like laughter–carefree and unbound. his arms tightened around your form as you succumbed to your own joy.
mark whispered against your hair between pressing kisses to the crown of your head, "i love you, you know that?"
you peeked up at him, cheeks starting to hurt from the wide smile that nothing in the world could dampen. "do you?"
"mhmm. and now that we will live together, i'll remind you everyday, pretty girl. over and over."
sometimes, it scared you how dependent you had gotten on this one single person. finding your chest surging with pride in his every minute success, just as it ached when he hurted.
mark looked at you like you had hung the stars in the sky. then again, you were sure you'd visit every length to do just that if he so much as asked.
and that night had brought you to this one, sitting against the armrest of the loveseat surrounded by your friends, legs thrown over your boyfriend's as he held you close. you knew he would never let you fall but every fiber in your being appreciated the closeness regardless.
you smiled at haechan's dramatic recounting of some incident in the pub last night, finding comfort in the fingers thrumming to an unknown beat against your hips.
as your eyes wandered to every occupant of the cozy living room of your apartment—yours and mark's—you couldn't help but thank your lucky stars for this chance.
because until you have this little life, this warm, lived-in home, your friends, family and most importantly him by your side, nothing could make you a stranger to the sense of contentment.

Summary: Oh how much they loved each other these three
Pairing: Yuta X Reader X Mark
Navigation
The day You and Mark decided to open up your relationship to his best friend Yuta was the day the world shifted on its axis. It seemed everything was right in the world. Mark wasn’t as stressed anymore, he was constantly with someone he loved and if he couldn’t make the time Yuta was there to step in, Yuta treated both of you like royalty. He had loved you both for so long, and to be given the privilege? He wasn’t going to allow any room for error, he was also the more assertive lover. If someone were to talk to either of you and try to get too close Yuta would spawn right by your side ready to tell them off. It was even worse when you three were all out drinking in public, he wanted all of you together but you were all different people, Yuta liked dancing, Mark liked to sit at the bar talking and you? Well you usually sit at the table talking with whomever went out with you guys.
In today’s scenario you were sitting talking with Shotaro, he had invited everyone out for drinks at the local club as a going away party, he was leaving NCT to join Riize, a new group that they were working on.
You sat at the corner table, listening to Shotaro talk about his upcoming move to Riize. The music thumped in the background, filling the air with a vibrant energy that buzzed through the walls of the club. Shotaro’s words were a mix of excitement and nervousness, and you could tell he was eager for the new chapter in his career. Yet, beneath that excitement, there was a sense of sadness, an unspoken farewell to the people who had become his family over the years.
You nodded along, offering words of encouragement as he spoke about his dreams, but your attention was divided. Mark and Yuta were somewhere nearby, each in their own element. Mark, as usual, was sitting at the bar, chatting with a few friends, his usual laid-back demeanor contrasting with Yuta’s more intense presence on the dance floor. Yuta had a way of commanding attention when he moved, the crowd parting slightly to let him through, but his eyes constantly sought you out in the crowd. You could feel his gaze even from across the room, like a magnetic pull keeping you tethered to him.
It was moments like these—when you were apart, doing your own thing—that you truly appreciated the dynamic the three of you had created. There was no jealousy, no tension. Just trust. Yuta’s assertiveness had never felt suffocating, Mark’s easygoing nature had always complemented yours, and you? You felt like you had finally found a balance between being loved and loving in return. But tonight, something felt... off.
Maybe it was the fact that Shotaro’s departure was looming, or the way the lights above you flickered with each beat of the music, casting shadows on the faces of everyone around you. For a split second, you wondered if this bubble you had built together would last, or if life would continue to shift beneath your feet as it always did.
“Are you alright?” Shotaro asked, snapping you back to the conversation.
You blinked, offering him a small smile. “Yeah, just thinking. You’re going to do great. I’m sure of it.”
Shotaro returned the smile, but his eyes softened, sensing the unspoken thoughts that lingered in the air. “I’ll miss you guys. It’s been an amazing time, and you’ve been a huge part of it.”
You felt a pang of bittersweetness. You’d miss Shotaro too, but you were happy for him. He deserved everything that was coming his way.
Your attention shifted again, this time finding Yuta weaving his way through the crowd, making his way back toward the table. The moment your eyes locked, the intensity in his gaze made your heart skip a beat. Without a word, he slid into the seat next to you, his arm brushing against yours.
“How’s the conversation going?” he asked, his voice low and steady, though there was an undeniable edge to it.
You glanced at Shotaro, who smiled knowingly and gave you both a subtle nod before excusing himself to join the others at the bar. Yuta’s hand found its way to yours under the table, his thumb brushing across your skin in a reassuring gesture.
“I’m good,” you said, the words coming out more steady than you expected. “Just… a little distracted. Everything feels a bit surreal tonight.”
Yuta didn’t ask more; he simply squeezed your hand. His presence, strong and grounding, was the anchor you needed in this fleeting moment.
“Mark’s not too far,” he murmured. “But I’m right here. And I’ll always be here. Don’t worry about anything.”
For a moment, everything else faded into the background—the loud music, the flashing lights, the people. It was just you and Yuta, sharing a quiet connection amidst the chaos of the night.
But as the night wore on and the drinks flowed, something shifted again. There was an unspoken tension, a subtle change in the air that neither you nor Yuta could quite place. Mark had joined you both at the table by now, and while the three of you were as close as ever, a lingering feeling hovered between you all. Maybe it was the unpredictability of Shotaro’s departure, or the realization that this dynamic, this perfect harmony, could one day be tested.
You tried to shake it off, wanting to enjoy the moment, but the nagging thought wouldn’t leave you. Would things remain this easy? Or would the balance you had so carefully built start to fracture with time?
“Let’s go dance,” Yuta suggested suddenly, his smile wide and carefree as he stood up, pulling you gently to your feet.
Mark shot a look toward Yuta, his brow furrowing slightly, but he said nothing. Instead, he simply watched as you and Yuta made your way toward the dance floor, your hand never leaving his. Maybe tonight was a good reminder that even when the world seemed uncertain, there was still something beautiful in how you all fit together.
a/n: this is based on a real life situation so it might not be super relatable (no description of what reader looks like besides the fact that they’re afraid of sitting on his lap)
and it is not representative of any characteristics the idols have or anything lol it does require the knowledge of Jackbox Games. quiplash is a game where you get a prompt and you anonymously write down what you think is the funniest answer and everyone votes for the funniest one. i'm posting this twice because i originally wrote it for mark but my sister thought it was well suited for chan as well soooo yeah!

----------------
You and Mark had known each other for a few years. You had initially met on vacation and got each other's contact information to keep in touch. You were talking all the time and FaceTiming nearly every day. You were friends, such close friends that you decided to go to the same university. Once you moved to his area for college, you were spending all your time with each other. Eventually, the sexual tension between you began to build and before you knew it, your situationship began.
A few months before your friends with benefits relationship with Mark began, he had been sharing with you how messy his previous arrangement went. You had seen other girls come and go because they could never handle him sticking by his word and refusing to commit to them. You were also not interested in commitment, so you felt comfortable going into it. You knew exactly who you were friends with, so you assumed you would be fine. You were just friends who had a sexual attraction to each other. There was no reason that having sex would have to complicate things, right? Wrong.
Yes, there are people who can have a healthy friends with benefits style relationship. Sex is easy to detach from for some more than others. Your relationship with Mark was anything but detached. You were best friends who had sex, and the gray area was extremely gray. You were practically dating without the label, and that brought a lot of negative feelings bubbling up. But you both didn't want commitment. You were terrified of being vulnerable in that way and he, well… he just loved the attention.
Mark's cousin Haechan was hosting a game night with some friends, and Mark wanted you to come along and meet everyone. When you two arrived at Haechan’s house, you introduced yourself, and the first words out of Haechan's mouth were:
“Are you the one that called on Christmas?”
Immediately, Mark jumped into action to try to shut Haechan up. He stood in front of you and blocked Haechan from view, mumbling, “No, that was someone else.” You knew he had a previous situationship leading up to your situationship with him; this was no secret. You knew this because you were the one to talk him through the end of that relationship. You just hadn't realized how intense it must've been if Mark was bringing that "friend with benefits" to meet the family.
You had small talk with Haechan, asking him what his major was, and he asked yours. He offered you drinks and snacks, and you took a seat on the sectional with Mark taking the seat right next to you. You two were in your own little world, giggling about god knows what while he had his arm around you, when all of a sudden the door behind you swings open.
“MARK PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE DONE THE ENGINEERING HOMEWORK!” the disheveled boy yelled. You giggled because of how insane this random man appeared with his backpack barely slung over his shoulder, hair a mess, running up to take a seat on the couch diagonal to you two.
“Y/N, this is Jaemin. Jaemin, this is Y/N.”
Jaemin’s brain is going a million miles an hour, and the first thing he thinks to ask is:
“Are you two dating?”
You and Mark look at each other, and he says, “No, we’re just friends.”
“Oh," Jaemin says, "Well, it looks like you two are dating.”
Jaemin proceeds to talk to Mark about whatever homework they had, and his whole demeanor has you nearly falling off the couch with how hard he has you laughing. He has major himbo energy and says everything with so much passion. At one point, he ends a story he's telling with, “WHATEVER FUCKOOO!”
Soon, more of Haechan and (kind of) Mark's friends start showing up. A tall guy who catches your eye greets you. He says his name is Johnny and makes light conversation with you, asking how you know Mark and Haechan and asking how long you've lived in the city. Two guys walk in who are semi-shy and kind of just talking to each other. Mark tells you they're younger and more on the shy side, especially with people they don't know. They are, however, ready to play games and are super impatient, not willing to wait for the rest of the group. There are also three guys in the corner smoking, waiting for more people to show up. One of them catches your eye as his dimples are on display while giggling with his friends. Eventually, the rest of the group shows up, and the party can begin.
Haechan loads up Jackbox Games, and your group plays Trivia Murder Party for a few rounds, and then, a guy named Yuta says he thinks the group should play Quiplash. There are a few rounds where you make some pretty good jokes, and all of the guys hype you up, telling Mark he brought someone super funny to game night. You even make a quip at Mark's expense, and Jaemin high-fives you. At this point, you've had a few drinks, and you aren't drunk, just tipsy. But you absolutely need to pee. You ask Mark where the bathroom is, since this is his cousin's house, and Mark leads you to the bathroom, waiting for you outside the door. Once you’re done, he drags you to the empty bedroom across from the bathroom and lays back on the bed, pulling you down you on top of him.
“Are you having fun?” he looks up at you.
“Mhm," you hum, "are you?”
“Yeah."
"Your friends are nice. Jaemin's super funny. I can't believe he's real,” you giggle.
"Yeah, he is... ok, c'mon. Let’s go back before they think we’re having sex or something," he says abruptly. You thought his response was weird, but you didn't think too much about it.
Upon returning to the living room, you see your seat on the couch was stolen by a few of the guys, and you are now forced to sit on a recliner in the corner to watch the game from there. There’s only one seat though, so you just stand while Mark takes the seat.
“What are you doing?" he questions, "Come on. Sit down.”
You pause. “I-I'm okay. I don’t want to like hurt your legs or anyth-”
Mark pulls you down on his lap, so you’re forced to sit down on him. He asks if you want to smoke, and you take a singular hit, not really interested in doing that, and watch the game from afar. Jaemin has his eyes trained on you two, and you feel his stare. You turn to look at him, and he yells from across the room, “Are you sure you guys aren’t dating?”
You giggle saying, "Yes, we’re sure we aren’t dating."
He tilts his head to the side like a confused puppy and proceeds to ask “So, are you guys cousins?” and you cannot stop yourself from keeling over because what does he MEAN?? What kind of line of questioning is that? Why would his brain jump from dating to cousins? You look at Mark incredulously as you both laugh and confirm once again that you are just friends.
You two keep watching the game, rather than participate, and go back to your own little world until Mark decides he’s ready to go home. You follow him out, saying a single goodbye to everyone in the room. Everyone bids you goodbye in their own way with many of the guys saying how nice it was to meet you and how you should definitely come to game night again. You two walk out and Mark unlocks the car before remembering he has to go back in to get something from Haechan. You sit and wait in the car, smiling to yourself, and text your best friend about game night. You make sure to mention the beautiful man you met and how funny it was that he asked if you and Mark were cousins.
Once he enters the car, he slides his hand onto your thigh.
“Did you have fun?” he asks, leaning in to give you a kiss.
“Yes, actually. I really didn't think I would, but that was so nice and all of your friends seem so cool! Jaemin is such a himbo it’s so funny... I can’t believe you guys are taking the same classes.” you add.
You don't notice, but Mark's hand clenches the steering wheel. He doesn’t say anything and begins the drive home. You stop by the grocery store on your way home to pick up some snacks, and everything between you and Mark seems pretty light hearted.
You get back to Mark’s place, shower, and change into pajamas. You two sit on the couch for a bit longer watching shows and just snacking, cuddled up together. You get up to go to the restroom, leaving your phone behind on the coffee table, and when you come back, Mark is in a noticeably different mood. His body language is tense, and he’s moved away from your original spot.
“Markie… what’s wrong?” you ask, still standing.
“Nothing. What are you talking about?”
“It just seems like... like there’s something bothering you,” you insisted.
“Why would anything be bothering me? You’re literally making something out of nothing!” he snapped.
Now, you're officially in a bad mood.
“Fine then! Forget I even asked,” you huffed, collapsing onto the opposite side of the couch to go through your phone.
Half an hour later, your anger has subsided, and you're back to being invested in the show you’re watching. Then, the leading man betrays his love interest.
“Ughhhhhh," you drone, "Why does every man suck? Like even him? You have to be joking.”
“I bet Jaemin would never do that…” Mark mumbled mockingly from his side of the couch.
“What the actual fuck did you just say?” you snarled.
“Nothing.”
“Please do not fucking tell me that you’re upset over Jaemin, a man I only just met a few hours ago,” you scoffed.
“Oh, so you’re counting the hours,” Mark said, not even looking at you.
“Mark, shut the fuck up! What are you saying right now? What is your deal? I don’t even know or care about Jaemin!”
“You sure seemed to care when you texted your friend about how hot and funny you thought he was,” he said, finally looking up at you to see your reaction.
“Motherfucker, you went through my phone? Again? Are you fucking joking? Why would you do that?”
“I didn’t! I saw you texting it,” he tried to say, but you knew that was a lie because you had texted your friend right when you got into the car. He absolutely went through your phone, but this was not the first time.
“You’re a fucking liar, Mark. I know you didn’t see me texting it. And either way, what does it matter to you? Newsflash! In case you weren't aware, I’m not your girlfriend! You made sure of it, and you also made sure everyone knew that tonight!”
Mark scoffed, “What did you want me to say to them? 'Oh yeah we’re fucking’?”
“it doesn’t matter what you say to them because we aren’t anything. And that means you don’t get to be upset over me texting my friend that i thought your friend was attractive," you emphasize, "You’ve done far worse or would you like me to remind you about your sexting with Winter or sending good morning and goodnight texts to Arin when you couldn’t even find two seconds to text me back even if it was just to let me know you were busy?"
Mark sits there knowing he can't say anything to that.
"You have even less of a right to be upset because of all the shit you pull all of the time, so I’m not going to apologize for sending my friend one text about a cute boy I will probably never see again." you finish.
“So you would want to see him again?” he tries to say steadily, but his voice cracks.
You look up and see that Mark is looking at the ground now and has tears in his eyes.
“Mark…” you put your arm around him and embrace him.
“I get it, though, like he’s so much more than I could ever be," he sniffles, "He’s so funny without even trying, and he’s just so cute and attractive and everything about him screams 'y/n's type.' I don’t blame you for being interested.”
He pushes himself up to lock eyes with you. “It’s only you, you know? I know you saw the texts or whatever with other girls, but I only care about you. No one else could ever be you. I promise that at the end of the day, no matter what, I only want you.”
He looks down at your lips and hesitates before he kisses you. The kiss starts off slow and slowly progresses into a more passionate, needy one. Mark is grabbing at your hips, your stomach, your arms, whatever he can get a grip on. He starts whining and pulls away, “Please take off your clothes, sweetheart. I need you.”
You both strip down in his living room. Mark carefully lays you down on the couch and lines himself up with your pussy before slowly pushing himself in all the way without any issue. You guess high intensity and emotional situations just make you wet now after all the arguments you've had with this man.
“Fuck, baby, you’re so tight," he praises, "You always make me feel so big. it always feels like the first time.”
You moan and beg Mark to move, and slowly, he does. While there’s still a desperate neediness in the air, Mark is moving slowly and intentionally. He keeps his eyes fixed on yours while caressing your body. He praises every inch of you that he touches, littering you with compliments. He traces a finger along every curve and focuses on tracing circles on your tits, teasing your nipple ever so slightly before finally taking the buds between his fingers. He squeezes them, eliciting moans from your "pretty little mouth" as he calls it. He keeps one hand focused on your breast while he uses the other arm to hold himself up as he leans down to kiss you, maintaining the slow but steady rhythm. You wrap your legs and arms around him, pinning him to your chest. This position makes it so much more intimate, and you swear that he's hitting even deeper. The combination is pushing you right up to the edge. By the way Mark starts moaning, you can tell he feels the same.
“Fuck baby, I'm so close,” he groans
“Please cum inside me, Mark. I need it so bad.”
“Ugh, f-fuck, beautiful, I can’t until you do. Please cum with me baby and- fuck- and I’ll fill you up as much as you want.”
His words send you over the edge, catapulting you into a strong radiating orgasm. Your hands are grasping at his arms and back, leaving scratches in their wake, you're sure. It’s very different from what you’ve previously experienced, muted but long lasting, and you can feel it all over. Your orgasm triggers his, and he continues to fuck you through it until the overstimulation becomes too much. He pulls out of you and grabs some wipes to wipe you and himself down. He lays you down in bed and makes his way to lay down right alongside you. He sits up and places his hand on your cheek, turning your head to make you look at him.
“I-" he hesitated, "I’m sorry I went through your phone again,” he says, rubbing his thumb back and forth along your cheekbone.
“It’s okay, Mark,” you reassure him.
“I just- I knew you’d like him. I could tell from the way you were looking at him and how he was looking at you. That kid is never interested in other people’s relationships. I knew he was asking if we were dating, so he could ask you out, and it made me freak out," he sighs.
“You have no way of knowing that, Markie,” you reason.
“Regardless, I meant what I said. I know we aren’t official, but I'm only loyal to you.”
He lays back down, and you say nothing.
You say nothing because this is a conversation you have often.
You say nothing because as much as you want to commit to Mark, you probably also aren’t ready.
You say nothing because the previous statement is probably a lie you tell yourself to make yourself feel better in this relationship you have with him.
You say nothing because you know there will be more instances of you finding text messages with other girls in which he gives them more compliments/attention/time than he gives you.
You say nothing because you know he isn’t loyal to you at all, and you’d rather not start another fight tonight.
You say nothing because there is nothing here to fight for.
You say nothing as he falls asleep in your arms, and you see his phone light up with a text.
