[lesson 22/33 spoilers] my favorite thing lucifer did is in lesson 22, where mc calls him cute and hes like: cute is not how people would describe me. dont get me wrong though... id prefer to be called cute than not... wait, what am i even saying?? // this moment here reflects just how he absolutely needs validation from others all the while never even understanding it himself. its why he melts in lesson 33 with mammon declaring him someone he truly admires and loves with his whole heart. its why he becomes soft and vulnerable for only a moment when in the arms of the human. this whole shtick of being dominant and condescending, megalomaniac and proud- while yes he is extremely self-obsessed... unknowingly, he is lonely and needs someone to hold him up when hes far too broken to do so himself. im sorry its just im so in love with him

I'm back! Sorry about the wait. Here we go.

Yours:　Anata no:　あなたの

Ours：　Watashitachi no:　わたしたちの：　私達の

Mine：　Watashi no:　わたしの：　私の。

Thing:　Mono:　もの：　物

<h1>Sentences</h1>

She is mine. Kanojo wa watashi no desu. かのじょ　は　わたし　の　です。 彼女は私のです。

So this is probably a new way to phrase for you. I certainly wasn't sure about this when I went through this lesson. I'm so used to "Watashi no (noun)" that "Watashi no" without a noun after it felt strange.

But lo and behold it goes through. :)

The horse is yours. Uma wa anata no desu. うま　は　あなた　の　です。 馬はあなたのです。

Now let's bring in "mono" 「物」 I suspect you all recognize this from "tabemono" 「食べ物」. "mono" is put after "anata/watashi/kare/kanojo no" Making "your/my/his/her thing".

For this particular sentence duolingo lists 「物」as a sentence option.

The horse is yours. Uma wa anata no mono desu. うま　は　あなた　の　もの　です。 馬はあなたの物です。

Directly translated the above sentence means "The horse is your thing."

I have the men's books. Watashi wa otoko no hon o motteimasu. わたし　は　おとこ　の　ほん　を　もっています。 私は男の本を持っています。

The dog is ours. Inu wa watashitachi no (mono) desu. いぬ　は　わたしたち　の　（もの）　です。 犬は私達の（もの）です。

It is ours. Watashitachi no mono desu. わたしたち　の　もの　です。 私達の物です。

The book is yours. Hon wa anata no mono desu. ほん　は　あなた　の　もの　です。 本はあなたの物です。

The boy's dog. Otokonoko no inu desu. おとこのこ　の　いぬ　です。 男の子の犬です。

The book is mine. Hon wa watashi no mono desu. ほん　は　わたし　の　もの　です。 本は私の物です。

I am yours. Watashi wa anata no desu. わたし　は　あなた　の　です。 私はあなたのです。

He is mine. Kare wa watashi no desu. かれ　は　わたし　の　です。 彼は私のです。

The cheese is yours. Chi-zu wa anata no desu. チーズ　は　あなた　の　です。 チーズはあなたのです。

The lunch is ours. Ranchi wa watashitachi no desu. ランチ　は　わたしたち　の　です。 ランチは私達のです。

The cat is mine. Neko wa watashi no desu. ねこ　は　わたし　の　です。 猫は私のです。
