Hey mystrade and lestrolly folks 👉👈 lately i have a mighty need for a very specific type of fic and im wondering if anyone knows if this exists??

I want a fic with both mystrade and lestrolly where lestrade is being courted simultaneously by molly and greg, and i dont care which pairing is endgame but i want lestrade to agonize over whether he likes Mr. Tie-Pin or the cute pathologist more. Hello! I recently read the wonderful Notting Hill AU that you rec’d and one of my favourite parts of it was the role that minor characters eg Greg, Molly, Mike etc played! I loved the dynamics and felt like it really added something extra. I was wondering if you knew of any other fics that have great minor characters or really feature Greg/Molly? Thank you so much :)

If you don’t know me from Adam, hi, my name is Tyler and I’m a slightly seasoned fic writer. I’ve been writing generalized fanfiction since I was about 12 years old (don’t ask it’s not that good) but I made my first foray into Johnlock fanfiction in 2016. Over the last three years, I have grown as a writer, independent of any interference. If you are unfamiliar with my work (which let’s be real a lot of people are) it can be found at TheThirdTemptationOfParis on AO3.

I like to say that I specialize in post-Reichenbach fics since the majority of my repertoire is made up of such fics. However, I’ve also been known to write fluff, hurt/comfort, fix-its, and VERY poor tags (I’m nothing if not honest). My most recent project, that I’ve been working on for about a year, is a post-series 4 parent!lock fic that is my pride and joy. I also hope for it to be done very soon. (Crossing my fingers). However, due to my university course rigor and deadlines, I can’t give it as much of my attention as I would like, but I still would like to be writing as much as I can.

That’s where you come in!

Currently, I’m offering fics anywhere from 100-10,000 words, broken up into different price ranges, which are:

Drabbles (100-300 words) - $15

1-2 hours (writing + 1 editing pass)

Ficlets (300-600 words) - $25

3-5 hours (writing + 1 editing pass)

Longer Ficlets (600-1,500 words) - $40

5-10 hours (writing + 2 editing passes)

Short story length (1,500-5,000 words) - $55

10-20 hours (writing + 2 editing passes)

Longer story length (5,000-10,000 words) - $100

20-35 hours (writing + 3 editing passes)

But Tyler, do you write for any other fandoms and ships besides Johnlock?

Absolutely! I have also delved into Jolto, Hannigram, Destiel, Sabriel and even Ryden. I know it’s slightly taboo to write fanfiction about real people, but most of my Ryden fics (which can be found on my pseud heartrateofmice) take place in the same universe as The Heart Rate of a Mouse by Anna Green. I have also been considering of late diving into writing Villaneve fics as well, since that ship and show haunt my waking mind. I am also open to writing almost any Sherlock ship one may have (excluding Sheriarty, Warstan, Johnlockary, and Sherlolly).

But Tyler, what kind of fics can I ask for?

Almost anything! Case fics, angst, fluff, hurt/comfort, established relationship, you name it! The only thing right now that I am not offering is smut fics. I have only ever written one smut scene in my four years of seriously writing fic. This is because I do not think I’m very good at it. This, however, doesn’t mean this is off limits in the future. I hope to grow even more as a writer throughout this experience (if it works) that I may delve into smut on my own accord in the future. I am also not a huge fan of having dark characters where I don’t think they belong. For ships such as Hannigram, Villaneve, and MorMor, dark characters are inevitable. But for any other ships I may write for, I don’t think dark characters will play a role. For that I apologize.

I also apologize for the fact that this post is a lot longer than I had intended. I just wanted to put everything out there because I don’t think many people know who I am as a writer.
