Lila.exe has stopped working, please stand by.
Back at it again with my Lilalix content. I’m the Lilalix overlord at this point, bow down to me.
Two Liars
Felix: Well, well, if it isn’t Lila the Liar.
Lila: At least I’m not an incompetent liar like you are.
Felix: Judging by the way I saw Adrien and Marinette earlier, you schemes are not anymore successful, so you should go gold digging somewhere else.
Lila: Well it’s not going to be with you. Judging by your clothes, I don’t think you know what century it is. They’re probably as old as Adrien’s stinky cheese.
Felix: What were you doing in my cousin’s room?
Lila: Wouldn’t you like to know, Adrien-wannabe.
Felix: LADYBUG-wannabe.
Lila: Please, Ladybug’s a half-rate superhero just like Marinette is a half-rate fashion designer. I mean, instead of making actual costumes, she had Zoe and Mylene wear over-sized shirts. I would have done better than that, just like I was a better superhero. But it doesn’t matter because I’m about to end that girl’s career and take her place.
Felix: Ladybug or Marinette’s?
Lila: Both.
Felix: I don’t see how a nobody like you can take out either one.
Lila: (gasps). How dare you! I’ll have you know that not only do I work for THE Gabriel Agreste, but...let’s just say Shadow Moth has an apprentice.
Felix: Ha! You can lie better than that.
Lila: Am I?
I did line art and colored it 🤤

Snippet July 2021 - Ambition
For being the queen of deception, Lila Rossi was depressingly easy to fool.
To be fair to her, however, all Félix had to do was style his hair and pitch his voice differently and he looked just like his cousin. It was the same trick Félix had pulled on all the rest of Adrien’s friends years ago over a screen.
Now, as Félix lunched with Lila on their tenth date with him posing as Adrien, all he wanted to do was scream.
Lila twisted her noodles around her fork, smearing them in the spaghetti sauce. She always tasted like olive oil and basil when he’d kissed her, and that was one of the things Félix actually liked about her: her taste was different than any other girl’s, earthy, herby, and hollering about her pretended Italian heritage.
If there was one thing he could say about Lila, it’s that she went a long way to convince everyone around her about the truth of her lies.
“So, Adrien,” Lila said, curling her tongue around his fake name in a way that made Félix’s lip pull back around his teeth. “How was your photoshoot last week?”
Félix was this close to being done playing his game. He was the CEO of a successful marketing firm, for goodness’ sake; Adrien was still just a model. Félix could outshine him any day. “Vincent stormed out of the park when I refused to pose with my shirt off.”
Lila always asked about “Adrien’s” photoshoots. She was scheming her way to the top of the fashion industry, dating “Adrien” to insinuate herself with Gabriel Agreste.
Félix admired her ambition.
The problem was he admired her ambition too much: he wasn’t supposed to actually fall in love with her while messing around with her. She was despicable; he was utterly charmed. They were too unpleasant people doing unpleasant things together.
Lila laughed, covering her pretty, plump lips with her fingers. “Oh, Adrien, how could you? I know how much you dislike Vincent, but you shouldn’t torture the poor man.”
Félix knew Adrien liked the photographer; Félix didn’t care. He cut into his chicken parmesan and speared some of the breaded meat with his fork. “How’d your photoshoots go, dear?”
After taking a bite, Lila smiled at him over her angel hair. She chewed and swallowed. “Going beautifully, thanks for asking, Adrien. Clara Nightingale asked me personally to star in her newest video.”
Lies. Félix had a good nose for falsehoods, and he knew Lila’s tells like the back of his hand. “Oh? How’s Clara? I know you’re close to her.”
“Oh, she’s doing great. Did you know she’s pregnant, Adrien?”
Félix chomped down on his green beans. Every time she said his fake name, he ground his teeth a little tighter.
His and Lila’s relationship was built on a skeleton of lies, fleshed out by their spending time together. But he didn’t know her, truly know her, and he wanted to so badly.
“Is she?” Félix gripped his fork until his knuckles whitened. “Will she announce her condition to the media soon?”
“She should.” Lila nodded thoughtfully, sipping her peach tea. “Should I advise her to do so, Adrien?”
Félix slammed his fork down on the table, trapping the smooth metal beneath his palm. He glowered at Lila, who raised a brow. She hadn’t stopped smiling, and he was perturbed. Félix didn’t want to scare her, but he was annoyed and he wanted some sort of an appropriate reaction, like… He didn’t even know.
“Aren’t you sick of this?” he hissed, seizing the table in his other hand and leaning forward. “Why are we even dating?”
Lila appraised him coolly, setting her fork down and lacing her fingers under her chin. “Because, Adrien--”
“That’s not my name.”
Lila’s smile broadened. “I know.”
Félix started. He sat back, stunned. “What? You knew?”
Lila waved a hand. “Of course I knew.”
“Say it.” Félix let go of his fork and the table, clenching his fists until his nails bit into his palms. “Say my name.”
Lila’s eyes glittered. “Félix Graham de Vanily.”
Félix drew a breath through his nose. Just hearing his name from her lips was everything he ever wanted.
But he was still confused. “Then… why date me? Why go along with the ruse?”
“You think you’re the only one who likes screwing with people?” Lila’s smile turned sharp, all white teeth and malevolence. “Watching you twist up like a squid on a spear was hilarious.”
Félix smiled. Rather than being disgusted, he was once again charmed. “So… Can we date for real now?”
“Hmm.” Lila tapped her chin. “What do you have to offer me?”
Félix was stymied. “If you know who I am, you know what I have to offer.”
“Bzzt!” Lila crossed her arms over each other in front of her face. “You’re doing a terrible job of selling yourself.”
Resentment struck a chord in Félix’s heart. Resentment, and no small amount of admiration. She’s so ambitious, she’d make me market myself?
He swallowed hard. “I… I’m the CEO of a marketing firm.”
Lila studied her nails. “Which is why I was so surprised that you’re a crappy sell.”
Félix bristled. “You’re one to talk. All your credentials are made up.”
“Credentials are only as good as other people give you credit for.” Lila smirked, her brows raising. “And I have a lot of people giving me credit.”
Félix spread his hands. “What do you want from me?”
“I want your firm to market me.” Lila jabbed a finger on the table. “I want unlimited access to your private jet. And I want a position on your board.”
“That’s nepotism.”
Lila’s barked-out laugh bordered on cruelty. “As if you give a crap about that.”
Félix didn’t know why he was having a sudden attack of low self-esteem. He was a high-profile person, darn it. Lila was just a model.
A brilliant, attractive, clever model.
“Done. Our next board meeting is Tuesday.”
Lila thrust out her hand. “Shake on it.”
Félix snorted, but he shook her hand. When he drew back, his fingers burned.
But he had one thing he wanted from her. “Say it again.”
Lila rested her elbow on the table and cupped her chin in her hand. “Hmmm? What’s that?”
He knew she knew what he meant. Félix was pissed and turned on all at once.
“Say my name.”
“All right.” A wicked smile curled her lips, which then curled his toes. “Félix.”
