As for transportation, if your parents write a note of something along the lines of "My child [insert name here] is allowed to ride the bus home with Arieanna Eaton on [insert date here]" then you can catch the bus with me. Your parents will just have to pick you up from my house :) just lemme know when so I can have a note prepared too.

Tomorrow or Friday are great days for y'all to come over so yea thank you again!!! :)

Or Friday, it depends on whether the garage sale is only on the weekend or if it spans Friday-Sunday or what... when Emma writes me back I'll let you know.

I typed it out since my handwriting at 9 was really bad and made some minor grammatical corrections:

God doesn’t like to have people in Heaven with him. He thinks it’s fun to watch people grow up and get married and have babies but after that they’re kinda boring. But since we’re still his children, he sends us on the prettiest walk he could make, and it lasts forever.

The universe goes on forever and ever and God made it just that way. He spent years painting the prettiest clouds and stars just for us. And when we die, he sends us off to see them.

And he tells us to walk to the end of the universe and that’s where Heaven is. It isn’t really, but God is allowed to lie. It isn’t like anyone is ever gonna get there.  It’s the walk that matters. The walk is where you make all of your friends.

The best friends you’ll ever make are the ones you make when you’re walking to the edge of the universe. There’s just so many people – everyone who ever died is going! And if you’ve got everyone who ever lived on earth to choose from you’re bound to make friends. So after a few days of walking everyone already has their friends but they let anyone who’s new come with them because there’s always at least one nice person in every group.

You can walk in any direction you want. If you see a star that you want to go look at, you can. It’s okay because you’re not in a hurry. Usually you can say, “Hey, does anyone want to go look at that pretty star?” and you’ll get a whole bunch of other people who want to go, too, but don’t want to go alone. It’s not very fun to go anywhere alone and besides, what if you get lost? You definitely don’t want to be alone then!

There are people all over the universe right now. The very very first people are a lot further along but I bet sometimes they come back for a bit to see what happened to their great great grandchildren.

That’s another thing that happens on the walk. Everyone tells stories and no one is bored with your story. They talk a lot about how they died and a lot of people will wait for their wives or children or best friends so they can come on the walk, too. They talk about their funerals and all of that, or about their wedding days, or their first day of school. Everyone tells stories when they stop for a rest  once they get to a cloud or a star or something.

Nobody is sad or lonely on the walk. God makes sure of that. It’s no fun to be sad and lonely once you’re dead. God takes away everything that can make you sad once he meets you because he cares very much about you and wants you to be happy and laughing when you go because it would be hard for him to get to you once you leave. So even talking about funerals doesn’t make you sad!

When I have children, this is what I will tell them. I don’t like the sort of heaven they teach in church because it sounds very boring. I think making friends while you walk through the universe and look at stars sounds much more interesting.
