Their Radiant fear

Astra: looking into the Astral realm isn’t for the faint of heart. Some days the other side wants to talk to her, and maybe they hold onto her a little too tight.

Fade: she won’t delve into the price she paid to have Nightmare’s partnership, but the screams and begging in her sleep give the other Agents an idea.

Jett: once lost control and floated higher and higher into the sky. She was able to calm herself down to get back to the ground with about an inch of her life.

Neon: she took out an entire city block’s power without trying. Landlines and cell tower’s didn’t work. Motor vehicles crashed into each other. Power lines fell onto the ground. She’s very adamant that the inhibitor stays ON.

Omen: he’ll never forget the fear in the eyes of the people closest to him. The way they looked at him like he was a monster. This was only with his bindings and cape on. He won’t even begin to entertain the idea of how they’d react without it on.

Phoenix: he used to be the hotshot prodigy of theatre school. Then he was a literal hot kid. The one who’s face was plastered in the newspapers for burning it down during First Light. It was the first time his powers manifested. It wasn’t his fault… right?

Reyna: without souls to feed on, she becomes weak. She’s tried to find alternatives, after her young sister saw her do it. But nothing comes close to satisfactory. She has no fears about becoming something frightening. She just doesn’t want her sister to see her as a monster.

Sage: it hadn’t occurred to her that giving something or someone life would mean she had to take it from somewhere. She still hasn’t recovered from when she had to decide between her parents.

Skye: the one time she needed her healing powers to work, it failed her, and it haunts her to this day. That’s why she’s the first to jump up to heal someone, no questions asked.

Yoru: prior to getting his mask, he travelled between points without it. And he got stuck. In real time, it was just under a week, but for him, who knows how long. He came out shaking, disturbed, and completely disheveled. He doesn’t talk about it, and snaps when it’s brought up. He never teleports without his mask now, and refuses to if he doesn’t have it.

Chamber

Loves his coffee, but keeps it away from you, as well as any other food/drink with stimulants.

Takes pride in helping you get ready, be it brushing your hair, helping you get dressed (them buttons are finnicky), and applying makeup, if you wear it

He holds your hands, or has you holding onto his arm when walking around, so people don’t look. And if they do, don’t worry, he will give them a piece of his mind :)

Phoenix

He gets matching items so as not to make you feel singled out. That means getting matching tumblers with a straw (it has flame decals on it, of course), and matching velcro shoes (also has flame decals).

He gives really nice warm massages to your hands whenever you need it! Phoenix can be pretty attentive! He looked up how to do it on the internet, and practiced on the other Agents. They didn’t complain lol.

Sova

Helps you carry things whenever he’s around, so you are not burdened. Heavy things, light things, doesn’t matter. He’s on it.

He believes that rest and sleep is the foundation of life (even though he doesn’t follow it when working his butt off. Just because he’s too busy to sleep doesn’t mean you are not). When you are shaking more than usual, he will gently nag you to rest more, and make sure you are sleeping the right amount.

When being flirted with, he is stoic, and unaffected. It’s so annoying

His flirting style is very charming, and intense, without doing much. He’s the definition of the type to undress you with his eyes. It’s despicable. And sexy???

He absolutely teleports behind you at times to plant a chaste kiss on your neck or nibble on your ear. If it sends you running, it’ll only make him laugh

Chamber definitely spoils the person he loves. He’s rich, why wouldn’t he?

Sometimes he deliberately loosens his tie near you to see your reaction.

When he’s busy and you’re demanding attention, he’ll pull you into his lap without a word and expect you to stay there quietly with his arm wrapped around your waist

Hi everyone, if you’ve been keeping up with the news, you know what’s going on in Ukraine. I will not dive into things because I want to keep this blog as positive as possible. If you google Ukraine, you’ll get information, I promise.

I want to help, and so I’d like to open up commissions. The difference is, instead of me pocketing the money, it will go to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). They have engineers and doctors on the ground in Ukraine, helping people whose homes have been damaged due to the invasion. My goal is to get to $100 CAD. I will be adding 30 dollars to get started.

So how’s this going to work? You commission me for some writing of your favourite fandoms and characters, and also help the people of Ukraine in the process. I call that a win-win!

Female Agents x Reader

[Here are some quick romance hcs for International Women’s Day!! -cheese]

Astra: her room in HQ is full of her own artwork. Beautiful pottery pieces, paintings hung over every inch of every wall. She takes inspiration from her surrounding environment, and she’ll often ask you to pose for her. It’s fun, and low-key, and when you switch it up to draw her, she insists on keeping the stick figure you’ve drawn. It’s on her night table now.

Jett: has a folder of all your selfies taken together and there are a LOT. She likes filters also, and will put little emojis or animal faces over your own. When she’s feeling down she’ll pull out her phone and look at them.

Killjoy: she is a self-proclaimed hoarder of hoodies. Any hoodies you own are now also her hoodies. Sure, she has a million of them in her closet, but yours are just… different! Different fit, different colours, different materials and designs! She also likes your scent that lingers on them, so don’t try to buy her a matching hoodie, oh no. She wants the one you wear!

Neon: anytime anyone bothers you, Neon is there in two seconds, ready to ream into them. She doesn’t have a tolerance for people like that, even if they’re just ‘joking’. She’ll point fingers, and make a scene so they can walk away in shame. She’ll take your hand and make sure you’re not in any distress, before cussing that person out under her breath. She’s very protective!

Raze: she likes to embarrass you in public. Not by joking around, but by showing off. “Hey wanna see me fit three pizzas in my mouth?”, “I bet I could back flip over the water fountain!”, “Hold on, wear this lipstick and leave a billion kiss marks on my face. Yes, I want to walk out like that.” She also non-stop praises you to anyone who will listen. You love her for it though.

Reyna: when off duty, Reyna insists the two of you spend time together. Every now and then, when feeling sore, Reyna suggests doing couple’s yoga. The poses look frightening and not at all safe, but Reyna is supportive, and likes to be close to you. It doesn’t help that she is watching you like a hawk to make sure you don’t injure yourself. But that’s not what you’re worried about. She’s too close!!!

Sage: sometimes she watches you as you fall asleep because she can’t believe how happy she is with you. She’s under a lot of pressure, so sometimes she feels like she’s not doing enough as a girlfriend, but she’s trying!!! When you caught her one time, she shoved her head into her pillow to avoid eye contact with you.

Skye: she makes the BEST flower crowns, and uses you as a model when taking photos to remember her creations. She’ll also take your ideas into consideration. She isn’t picky, she just likes making flower crowns. She has offered to teach you, multiple times as well! She’s not the most patient teacher, but for you, she’ll do anything.

Viper: she reads before bed, and it’s become a routine whenever the two of you share a bed, that she reads out loud. Somehow, even the most boring subjects (to you) can seem interesting with Viper’s cold, but snarky narration. As she reads, she’ll have one arm around you, or playing with your hair.

Yes, Vincent absolutely dressed his child in the finest designer brands. Yes, children grow quickly and need new, larger clothes quite often. It doesn’t matter. No child of his will dress in run of the mill clothing.

He will wear clothes that match with his kid as often as he can outside of work. Just so everyone knows he’s the father. Not that there’s any room for guessing when there’s a baby in a Gucci stroller sporting a Balenciaga burrito blanket.

Though Chamber is a playful person, which his child, he definitely has an air of authority to him. He wants to raise his kid to be respectful and productive. Sometimes you need to slap Chamber’s head or something to get him to loosen up. The baby is barely a year old and Chamber is talking to them about stocks, gun barrels, and politics.

Despite this, deep down, Chamber is just afraid he’ll be a bad parent. One side of him feels incredibly confident that he can do no wrong (which is a terrible mindset). But the other one, the 5% hidden away is worried about every single thing he does, thus, he tries to be the best parent he can be.

There’s no shortage of the best parenting books and products money can buy in your shared home. Chamber has the funds, and he will absolutely spend them on his family.

Chamber is also responsible for designing the nursery. It’s elegant, to say the least. Purple and gold everywhere. He also totally booby trapped the room so that if intruders ever came, they’d get concussed, and he’d be alerted.

And yes, Vincent has a teleporting card set up in the room for him to move seamlessly as the baby requires.

Agents' Reading Material (part 2: Cypher, Fade, Jett, KAY/O)

Cypher: Comedy. Cypher’s line of work can be pretty bleak at times. Which always has the other Agents wondering how he keeps it together, and is always cheerful. Well, he reads a lot of comedic stuff; fiction, non-fiction, joke books, you name it, it’s probably been read by him, or is on his to be read list. One of his favourite types of books though, are ones written by comedians. Also, one of the reasons Brimstone switched from physical newspapers to digital is because Cypher would ‘borrow’ the paper to read the comic strips in the back. Cypher’s previous reads include: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?, Eating Salad Drunk, and Bossypants.

Fade: The newest Agent who is still living her goth-kid phase reads just about what you’d expect. Dark fantasy, true crime, and mystery. She’s an avid reader, and can eat books in two days. She prefers reading to talking to the other Agents anyways. And yes, she absolutely reads in the dark, under the covers, with a flashlight, or while Omen is knitting (canon). Sometimes Omen requests Fade to read aloud. It’s very cute. Fade’s spooky reads include: Two and Twenty Dark Tales, The Secret History, Dracula, and Once Upon a River.

Jett: For the longest time, Jett thought she just straight up hated reading, but no, she just hated being forced to read and analyze fiction in school. Following First Light and being recruited by Brim, she had a lot of down time while waiting for missions. And in the early days, missions were given to the older members. Jett ended up falling through a dystopian novel rabbit hole, specifically under teen or young adult fiction. A lot of the novels she read had protagonists her age, who were thrust into situations bigger than them. That resonated with Jett, and her situation as a Radiant. She would recommend books like: Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, and Divergent.

KAY/O: KAY/O doesn’t need to read anything. He can just download stuff off the internet and he gains the knowledge immediately. His main focus is usually to train and keep watch on the Radiants of the team, so he doesn’t really care for, or require reading. The only time he does, is to download any new information regarding Radiants of the world. He keeps tabs on as many of them as he can, to make sure they aren’t a threat.
