👻 and 💥 for the fic writer ask game!

Finally getting to the ask game from a couple weeks ago!

👻 What is your wildest headcanon? I'm not sure if I have any "wild" headcanons. I see a lot of me in my interpretation of Stephen (all those personality tests didn't help, hah) and he didn't have a super wild past in my head. I have a couple headcanons that I'm really *passionate* about, though, like Kamar-Taj's vibrant economic abilities. "Wild", for me, is "nitty gritty world building with real world facts to help legitimize it" :P

💥 What is one canon thing that you wish you could change? Ugh, can I say "all of Endgame"? I mean, Infinity War was so excellent, and I feel CW could have been better resolved in a better version of Endgame that kept half the characters actually in-character. I still dislike 5 years passing, too, after all this time.

If that's too much of a cheat, mmm, I'd say having Wanda's turn to evil off-screen. If it happened slowly over events in MoM while the villain was, say, Sinister Strange, I think the movie could have really been more of Stephen's movie. The Darkhold and Chthon could have still been in the background, but Sinister!Stephen could have been chasing America instead, and it'd be just so much better and more about Stephen really fighting himself. So yeah. I mean, that's also changing a movie, but it's just one character that would change the rest as opposed to all of Endgame :P

And to be frank, I haven't seen any of the Marvel shows or movies since MoM because I was so disappointed and I just didn't really care anymore.

I miss Phase 3. Oh well. I can enjoy fanfic in the meantime.

Something Wicked by @linzerj

Linzerj takes a look into Vlad’s perspective in a way I haven’t seen before in this fandom. Reading Something Wicked captures the sense of foreboding that Vlad exudes. He plays his cards in such a way that you can’t help but feel out of the loop. Sure everything looks fine, but he’s /planning something/ and you just can’t prove it. Pretty much my favorite kind of interpretation of Vlad’s character! I can’t really go into detail without spoilers, but major Bitter Reunions vibes from this one. 

Linzerj has written over 60 other stories on ffn, and another six over on their ao3 from an extensive list of fandoms. Marvel, Pokemon, TMNT, Twilight, Gravity falls, Voltron, if you’re in another fandom, I think you should take a scroll through their ffn to see if they’ve written for it, because they’ve got a lot! You can also follow the author on here, as tagged above. Seriously, worth the clicks, y’all, I’ve read a few of their other dp ones and very much enjoyed them!!

Rewatching They’re Only Human animatic again and I just have to say that that opening with Crowley going from snake to humanoid is flawless and such a great transition. It’s one of my favorite bits from the whole thing. But I must also ask out of curiosity: what did Crowley do with that kid he snatched during the Ark scene? Is he saving the kid or like, gonna eat him or something??? Or was it just like, fitting for the music?? It’s a gorgeous scene too but I’m just like “Crowley why you do??”

Tysm!! Also idk; I didn’t think that deeply on that scene, it’s just implied that he saved the kid (and likely others as well)~

I’m vividly aware it’s been like, 4 years since I started posting this fic and I never could have finished it without you and without all the other people who’ve stuck with me this long. It may not seem like it with my update schedule (that is to say, What Update Schedule) but this fic is really dear to me and maybe it won’t be for another four years but Heroes Under Drinking Age will be a complete series one day, and it’s gonna be because of you.
