Superphantom week 2024?

I love you (Cas?)
Hhh
That’s right. It’s 2:46am and I’m ready to take on Supernatural. Have I finished the show? ✨no✨ have I watched it at all since middle school ✨no✨ . And yet here we are.
I feel like I draw Danny almost exclusively in a state of panic or despair. Anyway, most dpXspn crossovers start by answering those^^ questions, sometimes the brothers are friends of the Fenton family, sometimes they just kinda happen upon him or amity. And either don’t know abt his ghost half or uh try to kill him.. I mean I think they try to kill him either way,,
Which is why I love>>
ThiS^ the brothers show up to the bunker for the first time in a while and- What the SHit?? Is that a child??? Bobby has a knack for taking care of children of neglectful hunter parents. Bonus points if there’s something obviously off about that kid,,, Bobby,, Bobby, I’m pretty sure that’s eyeshine,, Bobby please he’s obviously not human.
Danny: “there’s a ghost near by”
Bobby: “thanks buddy”
Dean: “???????????”
Then again there’s ol’ reliable: summon Ghost King
For whatever reason, the boys summon Danno either by accident or bc they need the help of the famed Ghost King and confusion on both sides ensues.
✨friendship✨ Danny is a paradoxical migraine, a being both dead and alive Cas probably has to deal with him at some point..
Idk either way, no dp fic is really complete without
That’s right boys, you’ve just combined two heavy angst potential worlds, and is it your job to bare the weight of it all? Nope- it’s His. Put the misery of the world right on his little shoulders and watch him squirm . Are we really better than that of which we rend?
When given the Winchester brand flannel, Danny likes to tuck it in his pants, specifically bc it pisses them off.
There really aren’t enough DPXSPN fics out there, and maybe that’s for the best.
….but if you happen to have any recommendations *grabby hands**
I’m in love with the premise of Wayward Son by avearia on Ao3 ajhsjsksk k good night

*mumbles to self* man I really need to work on my superphantom series...
The time was 2 PM the date was today (2/12/23) my task? Prepare for class tomorrow.
And then the age-old question popped into my head: “What if Danny calls Dean ‘Dad’ for a cover story but it has unintended emotional consequences?”
So I spent… 5? hours writing this. Hope you enjoy!

Chapter two is up!
Danielle: Model Human
“So what if Dani met Cas and decided to teach him how to be human?”
So here’s this! 1,421 words, oneshot. Hope you enjoy!
Castiel took his place in line behind a small girl who was standing on her tip-toes to reach the counter. She was engaged in a heated argument with the ticket broker, though the anger was pretty one-sided. The man running the counter looked more tired than anything as he reminded her in a monotone voice,
“I’m sorry, miss, I can’t sell you a ticket without a parent’s permission. Company policy.”
The girl huffed and turned around, starting when she looked at Castiel. She tilted her head back to look him in the face and her pissed expression went to a mischievous grin. She winked at him.
“Dad! There you are, can you tell this chump I’m allowed to ride the bus alone?” She winked again.
Castiel tilted his head to the side, squinting. He’d never seen this girl before. Had Jimmy had other children he didn’t know about?
“I’m no-”
The girl kicked him in the shin and gave him what Sam would refer to as ‘puppy-dog eyes’. Ah, she was asking him to lie for her. That he could do.

Snippet from my currently unnamed wip. Is this as funny as I think it is?
He took a deep breath and sighed it back out. Making eye contact and trying to pull the utmost sincerity into his voice, he said, “Jazz, that’s not your brother.”
All four of the teenagers goggled at him.
“Excuse me, what?” Jazz finally broke the silence.
“Yeah, what the hell is that supposed to mean?!” Danny tried to stand up from the table in outrage, forgetting he was in a booth. He pondered the table for a second then settled for just sitting angrily.
“Oh my god…Dude I think they’re your brothers.” Tucker widened his eyes in scandal.
Goth teenage girl Sam looked him up and down. “Actually, that kinda makes sense… You’ve gotta admit, you don’t really look like your dad.”
Danny seemed arguably more pissed at his friends now. Dean interjected before Sam could clear up the situation.
“What my idiot brother was trying to say is, that,” he pointed at Danny, “is no longer your brother.”
Again, all four of them gave Dean the same look, this time one of confusion and irritation.
“That makes no sense.” Jazz stated.
“No, I saw this on TV once, it’s like, some kind of reverse adoption. I’m pretty sure it’s illegal in America though.” Tucker explained.
“I think that happened to my cousin,” Sam un-winchester said. Jazz and Danny nodded along like they were beginning to accept that as an explanation.
“For heaven’s sake- He’s dead! Your brother is dead, that is not the real Danny.” Dean corrected. “Reverse adoption- what kind of?”
“He’s right. If reverse adoption existed I would’ve done it to Dean years ago.” Sam nodded.
Now on ao3!
Enthralled with the idea of Danny from Danny legit dies and has a physical corpse but can still kinda be human au and the Winchesters from just regular canon bumping into each other while… hiding bodies.
Three teens carrying a fourth by his arms and legs into the woods. Would they even be able to tell that it’s Danny’s corpse? It’s gotta be pretty much cooked through at that point. Hold on, I’m going to write something rq, apologies for any mistakes/bad writing but the concept is just too fun. If you think so too, go ahead and try your hand at it, this has so many excellent interpretations.
Edit but not really cuz I haven’t actually posted anything yet: I’ve only read back through this once but I’m pretty happy with how it’s turned out, just wanted to add a quick warning for horrific death and descriptions of a corpse and all that.
–
Digging graves always sucked, naturally. It’s hard to plow through a good six feet of rocks and dirt and bones and whatever other crap might be waiting below the surface (one time, in some backwoods in Ohio they’d hit a bathtub around three feet down. Never got an explanation for that one). But, of course, the muggy pits of July made things much worse.
Sam had shed his top layer in the car, and was now down to a single shirt. He probably would’ve taken that off too, had it not been glued onto his back from sweat. Dean, who’d made a dig at Sam earlier that night for not being able to “take the heat like a man” still wore his flannel over his shirt, though it was beginning to soak through.
Laborious elements aside, what really made grave digging so tedious was the inability to fill it with anything else. It wasn’t like they could play music or anything, when they were in graveyards they had to keep a low profile, and all the other smart places to go hiding a corpse don’t get radio reception. And talking? With the amount of dust and dirt they kicked up, not to mention the work itself, it was more like trying to reason with a bully as they threw sand in your face. Gritty, painful, and overall, not worth it. So the brothers dug side by side with only light from a half-dead camping lantern and the singing of insects to keep them company.
Sam hit a rock with the tip of his shovel to knock it loose from the wall, the scooped it up and heaved it over the side of the grave. It was still only about knee height, meaning they’d have to put in another two hours minimum if they wanted to get the man hidden.
He’d been working with a witch to dodge death as he cheated his way through some shady business dealings. Actually, he’d been fairly easy to subdue- probably why he needed the witch in the first place- but once Dean had yanked the hexbag from where it hung around his stick-figure neck he’d begun to convulse and when he stopped, well, he wasn’t going to start convulsing again. That, however, was a problem for tomorrow.
Sam knocked a few rocks loose this time, letting them pile around his feet then launching them all over his shoulder at once. With the sound of metal clacking against rock gone, he realized Dean had stopped digging and was leaning against the handle of his shovel cautiously looking out into the woods. Sam moved in next to him and tried to figure out where he was looking.

SuperPhantom Prompt Idea
Danny was used to his barren wasteland. A plane of existence only ghosts can be apart of. A break between reality, and the dead. No living soul can be found.
After years and years as the ghost king, fighting hard to protect his spirits. He failed.
Lost his friends, his family, and he's kingdom.
He was alone. He finally, finally accepted it. Trapped himself in his barren world, wandering the empty streets as days progressed.
Blissfully unaware of what occurred outside his walls.
If his kingdom didn't want to listen to him, if they wanted to follow the road that lead to the end of their afterlife, so be it. He wasn't going to force anyone to do anything.
Imagine he's surprise when he hears him.
An angry short man screaming in the streets at nothing. Danny watched for a bit from the distance, settled on a rooftop.
The man wasn't just yelling. Not in despair and anger. No, this man was challenging him. Calling forth the King.
The King that hasn't existed in centuries. There is no king without a kingdom.
Winchester. Dean Winchester.
Memories of a very similar man flickered through Danny's mind. He hadn't heard that name in forever. Time moved differently here, it felt like ages since he'd last heard that name.
Since he last interacted with hunters.
After the events that accord last time Danny associated with a Winchester, one can imagine he's hesitance.
He's had nothing but peace and silence for so long, the fear of a life without it loomed heavy.
He wasn't going to help. Why would he? It would do him no good, none at all. Danny wasn't connected to whatever it was going on with the living.
Except he was. Because if this Kevin Tran this man is going on about links back to Sam Manson, he'd be damned if he failed her again.
He'd be damned to let anymore of his family's lineage get ruined by the supernatural.
SuperPhantom!
(Written while high and half asleep)
"Excuse me?"
Danny shouldn't have said anything, like he really really shouldn't have. But he's at work, and this two hunters are poorly trying to discuss a case without him catching on.
Worse of all, they have their information completely wrong. Seriously, who thinks Shades are ever the real danger?
"I said you guys are looking at the wrong creature." Danny shrugged, standing at the edge of their both. The two hunters were clearly bigger than him, and maybe he was a little worried that he might garner unwanted attention.
But he couldn't let them just harm the poor things.
"We don't know what you're talking about."
Okay, the shorter one definitely has an anger problem. It's fine, Danny's dealt with Argon he can deal with this jackass. The taller one, actually seemed like he wanted to listen to what Danny had to say.
"If you want to waste you're time exterminating all the harmless Shades in the haunt, by all means go for it." Danny bit back, rolling his eyes at the glare he received. "I just figured you'd like to know that Shades' aren't strong enough to affect electricity, let alone kill someone."
Danny paused, glancing over his shoulder as his manager called his name. Right, he was at work, he can't spent all his time educate the two idiots on ghost kind.
"Well I have a job to get to so just, just... next time you talk about a hunt in public, try to be a little more discrete."
The looks and whispers he saw for the rest of his shift made him kind of regret speaking up, keyword being kind of. Danny's made quiet a good connection with every Shade he's come in contact with.
He'd be one lousy Ghost King if he just let people end Shades left and right.
He figured he was free from the scrutiny when the men paid their check and left. He watched the old car pull out of the parking lot, figured he managed to lose their interest.
That was until he was closing up the diner, and was ready to head home. Which is what he wanted to do, planned to do. Until he turned around from locking the door.
The old car sat in the empty parking lot, men standing outside of it, no doubt waiting for him.
Look I love and respect superphantom stories where Dean and Sam are flabbergasted by Danny's OPness and how there's this whole kind of ghosts attached to this dimension they've never heard of
But I think by season 9 the Brutthers™ are so used to having their understanding of the universe flipped-turned upside down that they'd go full Mulaney a la "This might as well happen."
They've both been to hell, heaven, and purgatory. So they hear about the Ghost Zone and they're like yeah ok sure what's one more afterlife dimension. They accepted the Empty's existence easy enough
Especially after Jack's birth. Oh hey half-ghost superhero kid and King of Ghosts by right of conquest meet our adult-shaped adopted archangel nephilim baby. You'll like him but heads up he probably won't get your snappy jokes. And they've been introduced to the multiverse
Alright, you know the drill
It’s Christmas, Danny Phantom!
Welcome to the Superphantom Christmas special! I honestly can’t say I’m the biggest fan of Christmas myself, so this mayyy be a little bit of Santa slander. sorry? I hope to have the entire fic posted by Christmas, but it’s getting a bit longer than I intended for it to be. Either way, I’m having a really fun time writing it. Enjoy the prologue!

The picking had been rather dry for the last few months on the hunting front. Near complete silence from murderous supernatural creatures should be a good thing, a chance to relax. Instead, they were getting incredibly stir crazy. The library was almost completely catalogued, a testament to just how bored they were. Dean had turned to cleaning out the impala. He sorted through weapons, bottles of various substances (lamb’s blood doesn’t keep well. Especially when left under a seat for god knows how long), and old papers and floppy discs washed up into seams like they were sand the ocean had swept in. That last one was quite a surprise to find. With their Dad having died literal years ago and their general ransacking of all his notes there was little they didn’t know about his life. Or so they thought, at least.
Dean carried in a light cardboard box. All the technology within it was years out of date.
“Sammy, come look at this,” He shouted as he walked through the kitchen into the war room. Sam (who was rereading and notating a particularly dry book on Australian myths) shot in.
“What is it? Do you have a case?”
“Maybe. I think I found some of Dad’s old stuff, like old stuff.” He said, holding up a blue floppy disc.
Sam considered it, snapping and pointing at him. “Hold on, I remember unpacking a reader with all of Frank’s stuff.”
Sam, god bless him, took less than two minutes to go from the storage room they’d designated as the tech closet and back. Neither of them was particularly great with technology, especially as far as setting it up goes. A life on the road’ll do that to you. But messing with wires and trying not to get shocked was a welcome change. Finally, they had a new task to work towards. The computer systems were much too old to run tech as recent as the 80s, but the screens still worked just fine when running solely on the reader, if a little slow, malformed, glitchy. It was like running twitter on a 3Ds.
Three grey files popped up on the screen. The computer lacked a mouse, so Sam had to tediously click through them on the keyboard. The way Dean breathed over his shoulder, you would think him the younger sibling. Sam double clicked on the first one. A little loading ball appeared, rotating in small black and white increments. The lack of progress bar was a little disheartening. Each tick of the ball seemed to come slower than the last.
“You want snacks? I’m gonna go get some snacks.” Dean left his brother to lean on his palm and attempt to keep his eyes open. A bag of pretzels later the file finally opened. It was an archive of a newspaper, The Spectator. A big red banner ran across the top of the screen, headlined with the University of Wisconsin logo. The front page was pretty standard, welcoming students back to campus and giving their opinions on housing prices and coffee shops. A few pages down in the entertainment section a small clipping on band called the Skunk Punks caught his eye.
“Look at those mullets, yikes.”
“It was a different time.” Dean shook his head.
The real kicker was at the very bottom, barely a paragraph long. Tacked onto the bottom was a grainy photo of a woman and two men, all with iconically 80s haircuts.
Pictured: The Ectobiology Research Club. PhD Students Jack Fenton, Maddie Walker and Vlad Masters have successfully constructed “the first fully functional portal to the Ghost Zone”. Meetings are at 8 daily, all are welcome.
“Ghost Zone, huh. That sound familiar to you?” Dean squinted at the words as if the blocky text might contain more detail.
Sam shook his head. “Not that I can remember. Either way a portal to anywhere sounds like a bad idea.”
The next file took half the time to load, still enough to brew a pot of coffee. Dean set the pot down on the map table, wisely keeping it nearby. This page was full of notes. Photocopied chicken scratch of equations and diagrams, all detailing a miniature portal. Trying to read it cohesively was impossible, and figuring it out in chunks was just as boring as all the reading and organising they’d been doing before.
The third one contained screenshots. This time of emails.
