As fun as Jing laughing so hard he throws himself into labor would be, I have a better idea.
ERLANG.
Erlang and Jing are roughly 3-4 months apart, so Erlang has already seen the HELL that Jing is put through. He’s kinda nervous, especially since he and Macawue decided to keep the babies gender a suprise until the birth, but it’s fine! It’s only one baby, so it won’t be as bad!
But back to labor! How does one laugh so hard? Well, let’s just say that Erlang had been having a shitty day. His back hurt to hell and back, the store was out of his favorite caramel ice cream, and he and Syntax had been tistling over the fact that Erlang wanted to move around more now that he was in 9 months, but syntax wanted him to rest.
Then Wukong tries to breakup the fight, and ends up tripping and falling into the lake by accident. Erlang has no idea why, but the shriek the monkey let out just tickled Erlang the right way, and he started laughing his ass off!
And then his water broke.
Cue much screaming and panicking, and Erlang being taken to the celestial er for delivery! Thankfully labor wasn’t very long, only about 7 hours (unlike a certain progoda king), after which he gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!
They name him Nónglì (农历 — Nónglì meaning Lunar, which is also his nickname) .
