My favorite hc about Wukong that he doesn't like hot temperature or rather he's sensitive with it. Like hot food and hot shower since it's remind him of both being bake in furnace and was force to eat melted copper.
Other thing is Wukong like physical touch but too much of it make him uncomfortable because of the heat. He never actually said anything about it. He think he doesn't have to because he himself didn't know it's bother him
It was his partners who pick up the sign of him. And they try to make Wukong comfortable with them
Oh yeah that’s def something that would make sense. Surprised it was never brought up in canon.
Wukong would def struggle with intimacy if the heat got to be too much, platonic or not. But the great thing about his partners is how cold they run.
Macaque always ran a bit cooler because of his shadow powers, and with syntax spiders are naturally cold blooded (and also his cold metal spider legs). So he’d be able to be around them for longer. They love clinging to him because Wukong runs warm bc of all the previously mentioend.
Suprisingly, Wukong and Erlang enjoy (platonic) cuddles so long as they have a fluffy blanket barrier between their bodies. (Erlang doesn’t really like skin to skin contact for a while)
