I hiked up Tahoma this September, and I was in awe of how beautiful she is, and I could hear lord pan’s voice in the winds that whistled through her snow fields. Oh blessed be him,
Lord pan.

My blog isn't usually religious (skip if you're not comfortable with discussions of such, loves <3) - a few posts here and there because it means the world to me, and that's why I'm writing this. I'm just a yapper with nobody to yap to right now.
There is something so freeing and comforting about hellenic polytheism that I didn't think I'd ever find once I started considering myself an atheist, having been raised Baptist in the Bible belt. It's so relieving to know that I don't have to push my feelings down inside of me because I know my gods understand. I can have the genuine, authentic relationship I strive for. I'm allowed to stumble and not have it plague me, I don't have to hide the ugly parts from my gods because they know they're there, but they see past that. They'll know that I am wholeheartedly devoted to them. I yearn for people to see them in me, to know what they have done for me. To be loving as Lady Aphrodite, courageous like Ares, to be in the wild like Pan and free like Artemis. I can be these things and more because of them.
