Now with the girls: Donna and Jackie once shared the bathtub at Jackie's house and also the jacuzzi at Donna's :)

This reminds me a little of that scene in the show ‘Girls’ when Jessa, my favorite character, and her terrible, horrible, not good at all “best friend” Hannah share a bath during season 3, I believe? I know you watch that show too, so you know what I’m talking about lol.

Anyway, I see this act of sharing a bathtub as something very intimate. Because you are not only ultra naked but also, you are supposed to clean yourself. All your germs are gonna be there. So I’m having a hard time seeing the girls do this unless it’s been years since they started to hang out or something bigger than their differences and so happened (one of them needing help or something like that).

BUT, the jacuzzi thing I can see happening on an even regular basis. As long as Jackie is sure it has been cleaned before they step in, she would loooooooooove it!

Hey Teo <3 I hope you are feeling better! Headcanon that Jackie talks in her sleep and that's how Hyde finds out she is pregnant and didn't want to tell him until his birthday (in like, two days or something) <3

That’s beautiful! 

He has noticed she’s been weird and eating a lot. Hyde thinks she is nervous about something, she always eats too much while stressed and it bother him a little that she is not telling him what is it that has her like this. Jackie always tells him shit, why isn’t she telling him whatever crap is happening?

The more he gets into his thinking about what it could be, the more she eats and gets corny, suddenly she is angry, other times she is lazy and next thing, he thinks she may be sick and not telling him about it. Jackie hates being sick, she says she is too pretty to get sick.

One night after a long day of changing humor, he is reading when she starts talking. It makes him smile because he knows by now that’s something she just does. 

When she spills the beans, he looks at her side whishing she may be awake and fucking with his mind. But nah, she is sleeping like a rock. A talking rock. Who is pregnant.

If he freaks out at the begining, no one is there to see it. She is still sleeping and there is no one around. He yells on a pillow in their bathroom, then comes back to bed and kisses her face until she wakes up half angry and half excited because this is sooooo romantic.

Jackie opens her eyes and sees him all happy and not saying anything. Just one look and she understands and goes all nooooooooooooooo it was supposed to be a surpriseeee!

It was cute and surprising anyway <3

Why do you think Laurie is Red's favorite of his sons? :)

Hi! Thank you SO much for the question! Before I start Igotta say that I actually really love Red and Laurie’s relationship. It may notbe the healthiest or the most honest but there’s a lot of heart and love there.I love how much it felt like a real father/daughter relationship with their littlemoments and interactions in the show.

I think there are several reasons why Laurie is the one whoRed tends to favor the most. First of all, she was his first born, his firstchild and a lot of times first born children hold a very special place in aparents heart. Yes, this is coming from a first born.

Laurie is also Red’s only daughter. She was a classic Daddy’sGirl in the show and we can only imagine how much of a Daddy’s Girl she must havebeen growing up! Always at Red’s side, running to him when she got was scaredor had gotten in trouble with Kitty. And you just know Young Laurie had Redwrapped around her little finger too, getting him to talk Kitty down on thepunishments and such.

When Laurie was a little girl I think she and Red must havebeen very close. We’ve always heard about how Kitty would baby Eric a lot andso while that must have been going on, Laurie must have been spending more timewith her father and that relationship they’ve had since she was younger carriedon as she got older.

To Red, Laurie was his little girl and even when he realizesthat she does things he doesn’t approve of he’s still going to be there for herwhen she needs him. Red once told Laurie that she wasn’t his little girlanymore, that she was his daughter but honestly, I think even after that, Redcontinued to see Laurie as his little girl who he tries to be there for, toprotect, and stand up for.

Another reason I think Red tends to favor Laurie is becausethey have a lot more in common. When Eric and Laurie were growing up I could definitelysee Laurie being more of the tougher, fearless one of the two. Like Red, Lauriereally doesn’t care much about what people think of her and there are evenfewer people that she actually shows she care about—the main one of thosepeople being Red.

As the show went on Red became more aware of some of thethings Laurie was really up to but he’d continue to pretend like he didn’t knowthese things because Laurie tried to hide them from him too. She wasn’tflaunting her behavior around him because she loved and respected him too much todo that to him. Red was one of the last few people who really believed that shewas a good person and I don’t think Laurie wanted to lose that.

There were many, many men in Laurie Forman’s life but theone man who always matter the most to her, who’s love and opinion meant themost to her was Red’s.

Hi! What would be you favorite JH headcanon of yours? :)

Ooooh!! Gosh that’s hard...

I’m really partial to the idea that Hyde is a closet Frank Sinatra fan. (If you don’t remember the scene that pic is from, it’s in S7 when Angie tries to blackmail Hyde with footage of him rocking out to Luck Be A Lady at Groves.) Also the idea that Jackie’s “favorite book” is the Last Unicorn, which she’s never bothered to read. 

Pretty much any solid headcanon I have, I will eventually try to fic. 

Hmmm... *scans the carnage that is her hard drive* 

Oh! I think that, in What Is and What Should Never Be, when Jackie says to Hyde “I had fun last night!” I’m fairly certain that was their first actual date, and that they spent it at the reservoir. (Nag me about this one, I really ought to finish it.)

What are some of your favorite Hyde moments? :D

That’s a looooooooong list but I’ll name just a few

1. When he was doing chores around the house to show the Formans how thankful he was to them for taking him in. 

2. When he took Jackie to prom even though he didn’t like her that much and lied about Pam Macy’s butt to make her feel better.

3. Every scene with Red/Kitty. If someone who doesn’t watch T7s saw those scenes, they would automatically assume he was their biological son. Kitty was so sweet and caring to him and Red didn’t treat him any differently than he treated Eric and Laurie.

4. When he started confronting Bud for walking out on him and his mom but he kept tripping over his own words and ended up yelling. 

5. When he gave Jackie the Led Zeppelin shirt. That was so fucking romantic, nobody can fight me on that. He didn’t have much but still gave Jackie a thoughtful and nice gift.

6. That time he took the blame for Jackie and got arrested, knowing very well that he would probably get kicked out of the Formans’ house.

7. When he started bonding with WB and found out he was a decent father and not a complete asshole that was going to walk out on him after a while.

(Most of these are related to Jackie but what can I say, she makes him a better person)

What would you chose, better characterization in season 7 but no HJ ending or HJ ending in season 8 even with the messy characterization?

Ouch! Tough question (but thank you for it *lol*).

If J/H didn’t end up together in S7 because of reasons that are organic to their characters, then – as painful as it might be – their separation would make sense for who they are in that moment. It wouldn’t necessarily mean either did something wrong. They either need to do some work on themselves, or they’re not right for each other in that period of their lives.

In S8, however, Hyde proves himself unworthy of Jackie. She deserves better than to be in a relationship with an emotionally abusive person.

So I choose the first option: Jackie and Hyde are written in-character and don’t end up together in season 7 (although, let’s be real, if Jackie and Hyde had both been consistently written in-character during S7, they would’ve ended up together).

Oh and, are you going to do season 8 too?

Yep! We’re gonna do every single episode up until the end, and yes, that includes season 8. haha. No matter how much we don’t like it. 

We’re planning to do another show podcast about halfway through this one so once this one is over we’ll continue to be making the other one. As far as the blog goes, we haven’t talked about it, but I’d like to keep it for extra audio posts we might make as well as gifs that we make for the blog!
