Dark Room
You all know who Slender Man is....well Tuesday and I painted a giant picture of him in the dark room of our photography class. The light we use in the dark room is a very dark red light that barley illuminates anything at all, so when only the red light is on Slender Man looks especially creepy!
Today Tuesday and I decided to hang out in the dark room since no one was in there. Bad Idea.
We could have turned on the white light since no one had to develop any pictures, but we decided not too. We thought we could handle being in an almost completely dark room with an eight foot tall picture of Slender Man standing behind us.
Tuesday started playing around with the red light flashlight, swinging it around, flinging the light everywhere. I didn't know she had it in hand, so when I saw the red light flash by my line of sight I whipped my head around to see her laughing at me jump like a scared rabbit. I grabbed it out of her hand and shined it onto the wall where Slendy stood. Starting at the feet and making my up towards his head, I commented on how creepy it would be if that happened while walking in the woods. Tuesday laughed and took the flashlight, doing the same thing to see how it would feel to approach the Slender Man. We laughed and made jokes about how we would react, until we decided to put the flashlight down and talk about something else. Tuesday placed the light down on the counter next to her and turned around, then we heard it slip off the table and crash onto the floor behind us.
Tuesday and I exchanged a look and hurried out of the room without even taking a second look into the dark room. Passing by the painting of Slender Man only made the escape even more frightening. As we rounded the sharp corner into the black painted hallway, I grabbed onto Tuesday's backpack so I wouldn't be left behind. When I reached out I felt my arm scrap up against something, glancing back the only thing I caught in my line of sight was the tall side view of Mr. Slender Man himself.
It was terrifying! I got a tighter hold of Tuesday's pack and pushed her forward so we could get out faster. Once in the light of the main classroom, we shared looks and laughed at our own foolishness.
But as I'm typing this, Tuesday said she remembered the flashlight switching back on when it hit the ground and went back into the dark room to turn it off....
Its been 5 minutes.......
