is it worth the money to buy a mac when you already have a macbook?? the new color macs are so beautiful and i would love to have a monitor on my desk because i bought a desk table organizer and my macbook doesn't sit quite right on it and i was wondering if i should splurge and treat myself to a macbook maybe it’ll motivate me more im not sure what to do ... what are your guys thoughts??? please help me

Question to anyone with a Mac:
Is there a way for me to tell exactly what files are taking up the most space on my computer?
I had this thing happen where a popup appeared and told me that my startup disk was already full. I have 8 gigs worth of memory, and I was nohwere close to using it all, so I couldn’t understand why it was telling me this. Anyway, I was able to free up some space by emptying my trash folder, but now I’m just really paranoid about it. I looked at the details where it fleshes out exactly what type of files are taking up the most space, and the files that take up the most space for me are simply labeled ‘other’
what the hell is that, and how can I find out?
Mac people- help!
I want to upgrade to Mavericks but I've been reading reviews telling me to backup my mac first. Now, I don't have an external hard drive nor can I afford one right now. Is it absolutely imperative that I backup? How many of you upgraded without doing a backup, and did you have any issues?
Ok so I can never do those click and drag things because when I click and drag it just drags the first frame of the GIF. Is this something that I can fix in my settings or something? or is it just because I have a mac and that's how they are. Help please!
