Here you can see the crispy, wonderful smelling Franziskaner-loaf and rye whole-grain tin loaf all baked by Franziskaner bakery in Bozen (It
I love to make this bread when I want something warm and comforting but I am too tired to cook. It takes literally no effort, barely any kneading and the dough is ready in 10 minutes tops.
Plus, if you make it with intent, it's as good as any other complex, time consuming magic recipe.
INGREDIENTS
360 grams of flour (prosperity, for me)
A teaspoon of salt
5 grams/a packet of yeast (speeding up spells, for me)
300 grams/mls of cool water
Linseed (prosperity, wealth)
Pumpkin seed (prosperity, good luck)
Combine all dry ingredients together in a big mixing bowl, with intent. Make sure the salt and the yeast don't touch directly as that would spoil the yeast. If you don't have a lot of pumpkin seed or linseed, leave them out of the recipe for now (you can use them as decoration).
Make a hole in the middle of the dry ingredients, and slowly add the water, mixing thoroughly. The dough will be shaggy but that's OK, that's how we want it to look (it won't come together or form a ball at this stage).
Cover it and let it rise for 12 to 18 hours, depending on how warm your kitchen is. The dough should have doubled or tripled in size during that time.
Right before cooking, knead it a little extra, but not so much that you eliminate all of the air on it. At this point the dough should naturally take the shape of a ball. If it doesn't, all extra flour until it holds shape. The texture of the dough should be similar to that of your earlobe.
When you have a soft ball that more or less holds shape, preheat your oven or air fryer to 200º, Once it has reached that temperature put your ball of dough in there and cook it for 20 minutes.
Your bread should be ready and warm. Let it cool down a little before slicing it!
*** This recipe can also be done with sourdough. I have tried before and you will have to adapt the recipe depending on the level of humidity of the sourdough starter that you keep.
Happy baking!
Sugar cookies are one of the most versatile cookies you can make! They are so easy to make and so customizable to whatever your intent is or if they are an offering to a deity! As always my recipes are allergen free meaning NO DAIRY, GLUTEN, OR NUTS! So please, enjoy and Blessed Be! 🌟
For the cookies:
2 1/2 cups of Flour (King Arthur Measure for Measure Gluten free flour)
3/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Softened Butter (Earth Balance Vegan Butter)
1 Cup Sugar
1 Egg
1/2 Tablespoon Milk (Silk Soy Milk)
Flavoring, Optional
Start by creaming together your sugar and butter! Do this until most of the sugar has dissolved. Then add in your egg, milk, salt, and flavoring. Flavoring is where you can really make these cookies your own! Some suggestions are:
🍪 Lavender: Sleep, Purification
🍪 Vanilla: Love, Lust, Calm
🍪 Cinnamon: Energy, Money, Success
🍪 Orange: Joy, Purification
🍪 Lemon: Protection, Purification
🍪 Almond: Beauty, Self-Love
After adding flavor and mixing, sift in flour and baking powder slowly. Now the most important step! Wrap your dough in cling wrap and chill in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours and up to 24. Please roll out your chilled dough with powdered sugar and cut into your desired shape! Bake in a 375° oven for 9 minutes. Let cool before frosting.
For the Frosting:
Powdered Sugar
Butter (Earth Balance Vegan Butter)
Milk (Silk Soy Milk)
Flavoring
Whisk together your butter until light in color. Sift in powdered sugar. For this frosting it’s thickness is up to you. Add more milk for a thinner frosting and more powdered sugar for a thicker frosting.
I hope you all enjoy these cookies and make them into your own! From hearth and home, Blessed Be!
This is my personal recipe for a very moist boozy tropical bundt cake. Sharing this cake with friends promotes luck and longevity of friendship. As summer winds down, I wanted to share this recipe with the lovely people of Witchblr so you all have a chance to bake it during it’s perfect season!
*This recipe uses alcohol for soaking, you can substitute with extra pineapple and lemon juice or strawberry juice.
Ingredients
1/2 cup softened butter or vegan substitute. (I always use vegan sub)
1/2 cup light brown sugar.
1/2 cup white sugar.
3 large eggs room temperature.
1 Tablespoon of pure vanilla extract.
1 8 ounce can of crushed or chunk pineapple in 100% juice.
*1 cup buttermilk or to make vegan combine a little under a cup of Oat milk with 1/4 cup lemon juice and let sit for 10 minutes to curdle.
* If using buttermilk add 1/4 cup lemon juice to liquids.
3 cups all purpose flour.
1 Tablespoon baking powder.
1 Tablespoon baking soda.
1/2 Teaspoon salt.
1 Teaspoon ground ginger.
For soaking and serving
100% Natural local honey for drizzling.
A tablespoon lemon juice.
(optional) A few shots of complimentary alcohol ( I am fond of using Strawberry Pineapple Vodka. Flavored rum would work well too.)
If not using alcohol try using fruit juice!
Whipped cream.
Optional, add lemon zest!
Baking the cake
Remember when doing any kind of crafting in magic it’s important to focus on your intent. If you aren’t in a positive frame of mind, it’s best to save this cake for another day.
Saying your intentions out loud may have stronger effect. Fill that cake with magic and love!!!
Step 1 - Throw on some music that makes you happy!!! (totally optional)
Step 2 - PreHeat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit and don’t forget to grease your bundt pan!
Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla well with a stand or hand mixer until well combined. Add butter and whip for a few minutes. Pour buttermilk, Lemon juice (if needed) and 8oz of crushed or chunk pineapple to the bowl. Mix until just combined.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, ginger and salt. Whisk together well, sifting if necessary.
Is your bundt pan greased?
Good! I’m so proud of you for remembering! Make sure that oven is preheated too!! When we combine these mixtures this cake is going straight in the oven!
In a large bowl combine the liquid and dry ingredients until just combined.
Pour carefully into your greased bundt pan, scraping the sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula to get all that good batter up! Think of the new happy memories you’ll soon be making with your friends when you share this cake.
Pop that baby straight in the oven!!
Place cake on a middle rack and turn the cake if you open the oven to check it. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out almost clean. If the top of your cake starts to burn cover it with tin foil. I have not encountered this issue but every oven is different.
When the cake is cooled and removed from the pan, gather your soaking liquids. Poke a few small holes in the top of the cake. slowly and evenly pour your liquids over the cake. Do not drown your cake please!! If it starts to pool too much at the bottom hold off. You can always add more liquid later.
Coat the cake with a thin layer of drizzled honey. This cake soaks up that honey! So don’t be afraid to be a little heavy handed.
Enjoy with beloved friends
Serve with whipped cream and let the good times roll.
✨Substitute whatever you'd like except the lemon and pineapple. These are the magic representatives in this recipe. ✨
Thanks for reading!!! If you have issues with the recipe at all feel free to reach out! Did you add something different? Let me know how you changed it and how it turned out!
I made this recipe for my family tonight and it was a huge success. Even my sister who hates spaghetti went back for a second helping. This dish is super easy to make and the magic in it is very discreet making it perfect for a closeted witch who wants to help their family. Feeds 5 - 8 people depending on how hungry they are. Feel free to change the measurements how you see fit but know that the recipe is written for about 8 servings ;)
What you Need:
A box of Spaghetti Noodles (or whatever you got idk)
2 jars of Tomato Sauce
about 2 lbs ground beef (optional)
Salt
Black Pepper
Cinnamon
Dill
A pot
a pan
two lids
a strainer
Fill the pot 2/3 of the way with water. Put in two or three pinches of salt, which will cleanse the water and help bring it to a boil faster. Set on the stove and wait for it to boil
Put the two pounds of meat in the pan and put it on the other burner at a medium heat. Break the meat up with a spatula. (I took about a spoonful of water from the pot and put it in to help the meat cook)
Sprinkle salt across the meat, you don't need that much just a couple shakes, and stir.
Now add a 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, for money, and 1/4 tsp of black pepper, for protection, to the meat, and stir. You can add more if you want but I didn't want either flavor to be too overpowering (especially because you still have to add the tomato sauce)
Add just a pinch of dill, for money, to the meat. Basil might be a better substitute but I didn't have any on hand...the sauce might have basil anyway so
Once the meat has browned, stir in one of the jars of sauce. Turn off your burner and cover the pan with a lid to keep the heat in.
When the pot has come to a boil add in your noodles (breaking them in half might help if you have a small pot) to test if your noodles are done cool one off and throw it at a wall. If it sticks your good... or you can just run it under cold water and bite it to see if its cooked all the way through but that's less fun.
Once they are done put the strainer in the sink and dump them in. Watch for the steam if you have glasses like me cause that sucks.
Turn off the stovetop they were on. Dump the noodles back in the pot and put them on the stove
Pour in the rest of the sauce in with the noodles and put a pinch of each spice or two of each spice and stir
And you're done! You could put the meat in with the noodles if you want but I kept them separate so my family could get their perfect meat to noodle ratio.
