I did it! This of course is just ingredients I had at the house. You’d be crazy to think I’d go out and buy the good ingredients to practice with! Literally, I’m using this @traderjoes Jalapeño Sauce with everything. The sauce in the middle was my leftover sauce from when I ordered real sushi from the place near my house. I still cannot believe I rolled these successfully, I mean they were on the verge of falling apart as you can see in the last two photos, but that’s okay for the first try! I just finished a TV show on Netflix called, Chocolate and I loved how the main character’s sushi rolls were put together so beautifully, so I’m trying to learn those techniques. I feel like this past year I’ve been able to find more confidence in preparing food. I grew up learning to cook Italian, Mexican, and some traditional Jewish dishes, but didn’t ever go beyond that, so I’m really proud of myself for taking on new challenges. . . . #cookingwithme #newchallenges #makingfood #sushi #jalapeno #rollingsushi #newthings #learningeveryday https://www.instagram.com/p/CQMGse4lTlN/?utm_medium=tumblr
