I don't have a specific DNI criteria because it's stupid to try to police people on the Internet, but I do reblog radfem/terf stuff, so if you don't like that, this probably isn't the best place for you.

I believe that every female deserves to feel safe and single-sex spaces are necessary for that, such as public bathrooms and gyms. I also believe that basing gender on a "feeling" and a set of stereotypes and aesthetics does more harm than good, as someone who has struggled with issues around gender before.

This blog is just for fun, I'm a teenage girl posting stuff on the Internet. If arguing with me makes you feel better about your own miserable lives, then have fun, bastards.

so I posted a while back about how I know a TiF who decided to take on the name of their mothers rapist and when their mother said "Please Don't" she told her mum to "associate the name with me instead of the person who assaulted you"

I’ve been thinking about how trans identified people often seem to want to be able to claim the trauma of losing family that LGB people so often experience when they come out. For LGB people, losing family is the absolute worst case scenario and we will often tolerate really annoying or even upsetting behaviour from our family, because “at least they didn’t disown me, I can’t really complain”.

But for trans identified people, they will cut their family off for any tiny reason. Your father has concerns about you getting cosmetic surgery? He’s a transphobic bigot and you need to go no-contact. Your mother is suggesting that maybe your trans identity was born from internalised misogyny? She’s evil and hates you and you need to go non-contact. It’s almost like trans identified people are eagerly waiting for any little excuse to claim that their family isn’t accepting and therefore needs to be cut off, and the trans community is encouraging this. They’re so quick to say “omg your parents are so transphobic! You need to get away from them for your own safety!”, y’know, like a cult does.

Then I think to myself, no no that’s ridiculous there’s no way that trans identified people want to lose their family. But then they pull stunts like this and I start to think that I’m onto something.

because for the young ones, they are often upper middle class and rich white people in a developed country, who privately feel like they are privledged, but need to escape it somehow with "trauma" because how can privledge co-exist with their oppressed, disenfranchised, victim identity?

they also need trauma because they hate themselves and are stunted to a point where they dont grow or function normally in society for their age. they are unsuccessful in certain ways and they know it, so they need a trauma that rationalizes why they are the way they are, so that they don't have to grow and take personal accountability for their lives.

these are the people who collect diseases and disorders, need unnecessary accommodations, are often extremely disorganized and unmotivated, many who refuse to work and be responsible for money, they will crowd-fund, etc.

but if they have trauma they can say they are victims to it, that they are rightfully depressed and its not their fault. thus they dont have to take personal responsibility to grow and change.

they stay 14 forever and they dont want people to call them out on it, and they dont want to mentally confront that fact to themselves.

so getting "disowned" or estranged is a trauma they can induce when they please for extra points.

okay so now they’re freely admitting that the whole movement to use the word “queer” to describe a whole bunch of people instead of being specific and using the actual words that denote the specific people or groups we’re talking about, like lesbians, lesbian and bisexual women, gay men, gay and bisexual men, transgender people, lgb people, etc. was basically a trojan horse to include straight people in a social group that allows you to maximize your hipster “cool” points and simultaneously tear-jerk with your oppression points.

my experiences as a homosexual person have not a single damn thing to do with the experiences of a straight polyamorous person who is married but still fucks other people. or straight people who are aromantic, which means that they experience zero romantic attraction, but they’re somehow straight so I guess they just like to fuck the opposite sex, but not date them. I genuinely can’t think of a single solitary reason why my experiences and sexual orientation should be grouped together with theirs. on what basis? on the basis of same-sex attraction? obviously not. on the basis of facing discrimination? um I think the fuck not. on the basis of being oppressed? no and don’t try to lie and tell me aromantic or polyamorous people are oppressed. the only commonality I could POSSIBLY think of under which we could all be grouped together is that we fall outside of the conventional man woman white picket fence lifestyle. but if the “queer community” is grouped together on the basis of unconventional lifestyles, why not throw in drug addicts, those nomadic #vanlife people, fetishists, homeless people, age regressors, and basically anyone who is a little weird or lives an out of the box lifestyle. if unconvention is the basis for being queer, then they are all queer too! if I’m wrong and there is some other commonality amongst everyone currently considers queer, please let me know what it is. but really? is that seriously the commonality that is being found between me and fucking straight polyamorous people? that we’re weird and different and unconventional? leave me out of it. I identify as normal.

LGB people don’t need others to “affirm” our sexuality. We don’t need anyone to participate in our own understanding of ourselves. We don’t need surgeries, drugs, and other medical interventions to become our true selves. Quite the opposite: governments have used medical interventions to punish us for being our true selves. We don’t require that language be changed for us, other than simply expanding the definition of marriage—a legal definition—to include same sex relationships. We don’t try to convince ourselves and others that we’re anything other than how we were born. We don’t demand that taxpayers pay for anything related to our sexuality. This is all just off the top of my head…but there are so many differences between us and our goals, and the trans community and their goals.
