Was watching Thor: The Dark Work and saw Malekith. Something in his character design looked very familiar.

The Punisher Easter Egg! (Possibly Unintentional)

So, since The Punisher became available on Netflix today I obviously decided to watch it. I was so excited for the show in general, in particular I was excited to see Ben Barnes because he is awesome. Then I noticed something...

So I’m on episode 3 now and around 22:51 minutes in, there’s a moment during a flashback where frank and Billy (Ben Barnes) are sitting around on their cots talking. During this scene Billy is reading a book and as soon as I saw the book I thought ‘Holy Fuck! I recognize that Book!’ Then I realised why I recognized the book... it is ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray.

(Not the best screecap of the book, and I couldn’t get one myself, but I promise that is the book)

Now this normally would matter exactly 0% but... Ben Barnes was in a movie called ‘Dorian Gray’ based on the story. Dorian Gray is literally reading the book The Picture of Dorian Gray.

I’m pretty sure the only reason I am excited about this is because I love this book, but I thought it was fantastic and I’m just going to be freaking out over here for...ever.

This was possibly an unintentional thing that just happened but I noticed it and I am happy about it, sorry I don’t have my own screencap of it yet. I just had to share. Now I will go shuffle off back to my corner to watch the rest of the season and stop bothering you...
