MATCH IS BACK!!!!!!! and he is more handsome than ever, whats your opinion about that
@neisdi
MY SON!!!! MY BOY!!! \o/
First off, thank you for telling me about this!!! I'd love to know what comic this appearance is in if you happen to know?
Second, while I am so excited to see him I am mixed about his return. Though, I am always a bit skeptical when DC bring my favorites out to play again because you never know what you're getting writing wise or whether the writer will do their character justice.
With what I see here? Mrrrmhhhhh...I'm not excited to see that boring and uncreative all-black Superman suit again (like it's not a good costume design. It's got nothing going on for him, and it gives footy-pajama vibes.) or him being a part of Waller's 'Justice League' if it's still being called that.
He does look handsome in the art, which I love, but it really feels like to me they're just going to be sticking Match into a mold without really considering his character. He states in his last appearance (back in Suicide Squad) that he doesn't want to be a 'carbon copy' and yet here he is wearing what is essentially a Superman suit and filling a role :/ which I'm not pleased with (Please DC let Match explore his own identity.)
I don't know what the writer has planned for Match, if anything significant or if he's just filling a position in the team, but I am skeptical and I don't have high hopes. I don't think they'll do him justice if he's still a a part of Waller's 'League,' cause it feels like he's just filling the space of having a Kryptonian/someone with super-strength on the team. And I hope that this new suit isn't the new norm for him cause I'm personally not a fan of it at all.

Cloning Blues
Kon Week Day 4: Conner Luthor and Superbros/Superfam
Preview:
Kon decided the blunt approach would be best and spoke out, "I'm not here to fight you, Match."
Kon could see the disbelief splay across Match's face. looking at Match was always odd. It was like looking into a twisted mirror, gazing into the broken shard of said mirror that showed possibilities of what could have been.
Despite everything, Kon could never hate Match. He could hate Amanda Spence with an unending passion, and likely would until the end of his days, but Match?
Match was just another victim, caught in the storm of someone else's war. Like this base. Match had been discarded, cast aside the second the Agenda felt like they had no further use for him, and the idea of that alone made Kon furious.
Clones weren't meant to be used as weapons, tossed aside the moment they'd lost their use. Clones were people. They lived, they breathed, they laughed, they cured, they felt. They existed. Kon existed. Match existed. Guardian existed.
Match was a person- his brother- and Kon refused to leave him behind.
