I’m extremely glad that Regulus Black stopped being a child and manned up to ask Matilda Bulstrode. Them together the entire evening was quite adorable, if I say so myself. … Well, at least it wasn’t so painfully awkward as seeing him left alone. The pairing was sweet, I won’t deny it.
Sirius Black and Sophie Smith. Congratulations to her for finding a way into this lovely party. Congratulations to him for finding someone that suits his purposes perfectly, as he said so himself. Will the eldest Black score some on New Years? Let’s hope not for his sake, honestly. One of the most surprising pairings of the night.
Andrew Bones and Sara Corner. I can’t help but smile at how cute of a pairing that is. Both just seem so innocent and adorable— I love it. Sugary sweet these two.
Florence Quinn and Xenophilius Lovegood. Well, both of them can just talk the others ear off, so that’s a delightful pairing! And Florence looked stunning did she not? Too bad he could not be found for a good half of the evening. Darling, don’t invite a date and then ditch her.
Alice Fortescue and Frank Longbottom. Also adorable and quite a perfect match. … Why aren’t they a couple yet, actually? Those are two to keep an eye on. Very cute.
Narcissa and Lucius, Andromeda and Vincent. Though Narcissa and Lucius seemed close some parts of the night, it seems dear Andromeda was barely with her date for the most of the party. I wonder what’s wrong? Something new to worry about upon their oncoming wedding? … Or someone new?
Rabastan Lestrange and Lucinda Talkalot. Though they matched cute, you all know how surprising I found that one. Ugh, where was Miss Bones? She was quite robbed of a date. Definitely surprised here and not really in a good way.
Just kidding, I saw Amelia, and if you saw her too, you’d be quite thrilled too. The girl had on a gorgeous dress which I’m almost 100% sure she borrowed, but that doesn’t matter. She came with Gunner Abercrombie in what feels like a last minute date situation, but I suppose it all worked out for the best.
Clara Tarasova and Marie Fay Montgomery. Though they only came together so Clara could stick it to Slughorn and Marie Fay could have the pleasure of attending, their coordination was quite cute, I will not lie.
Lily Evans and James Potter. I was quite excited to see these two, honestly, but I couldn’t find them the entire evening. Did they spend the entire evening snogging? And other things? It’s quite a possibility, I think.
And then there was me and Cresswell. He had a cute face, and I had a good time. Couldn’t ask for anything better. But quite surprising isn’t it? Who would’ve though that do-gooder Dirk Cresswell could hold my attention?
