LOST BOYS 7/29/2026 MATINEE NOTES 🦇
i did end up going again while still being in nyc, but unforch only one more time for the matinee (i went to go see cats: the jellicle ball instead, which was also good!!). anyways, i have only a few short tidbits and whatnot for you guys!
also, i got to sit right orch row D. which is like. really fucking close to the stage.
and. i got a lot of eye contact throughout the whole thing. like a *lot*
- super cool detail: there is a ‘be kind, rewind’ sticker on the cash register in video max, which we see when lucy sings ‘the good part’ !!!!!!!
- LOVE that they are referencing shoshana’s old song from previews before it got cut (which admittedly, i think was the right choice)
- SUPERNOVA AND STAR HUG DURING ‘LOSE YOURSELF’
- they are so fucking cute pls pls plsssss

- i did make eye contact w him during ‘have to have you’ as he stuck his tongue out and i still havent recovered.
- i will say that there were quite a few moments where one of them were looking directly in my direction. which i am still reeling about cuz FUCK that was cool
- david was SASSY DAMNNNN
- alan and edgar’s timing is so perfect i love those jokers sm
- when michael wakes up in bed after his night out w the boys and him and sam have their lil back and forth convo, michael goes “bite me!!!!” and flips sam off
- unsure if im pulling at strings, but its kinda like that one scene from the movie where michael flips sam off while on the phone ???
- THE DETAILS, MAN. THE DETAILS!!!!
FUCK this time was good. i feel like i really did have a perfect view from where i was sitting. there was also no one in the two seats in front of me, so i really did get an amazing view.
ALSO!!!! i got a really good video of bows, and not to sound clinically insane, but i SWEAR dean pointed directly at me. evidence:

also stagedoor was even better this time!!!! i had a spot right up at the barrier. i think that matinees may be the way to go for meeting more cast members??? i had more luck this time!!! i got to meet dominic dorset, sean grandillo, dean maupin, miguel gil, and jennifer duka!!!! ofc they all signed my playbill. everyone was so nice, but dean specially stuck out to me!!! he was very sweet and i ended up talking to him abt his drumming and whatnot :3
