Terrific Tuesday Run
Set my alarm to get up early and go for a jog before work this morning, but unfortunately I didn’t get out of bed in time. So I brought running clothes to change into after the work day and stopped by the park on my way home!
warm-up: light jog + dynamic stretches - 5 minutes
Exercise: Ran at a pace of 9:30min per mile for about 3 miles.
My goal was to jog for at least 30 minutes! (YAY)
cool-down: walk for half a mile, drink water, and static stretches.
I focused my stretches on my quads today because I felt some unusual stiffness.
Anyone want to be my soulmate¿?

Work it Wednesday
Its been a busy month for me and I haven’t been as active as I would like but I am slowly easing myself back into the swing of things! I started today by going on an easy bike ride and finished the day with a small strength workout that included arms and abs.
6 mile bike ride
Bicep curls 3x10 (10Ibs) Lawn mowers 3x10 alternating arms (10Ibs) Lateral raises 2x15 (5Ibs) Triceps curls 3x12 (10Ibs)
50 Russian twist with 8Ibs medicine ball 20 toe touches 30 bicycles 30 crunches
You have the power to chose to be happy.
Motivation Monday
This morning I was studying for a big exam I have coming up this week and It took me so much energy to just keep my eyes open I was hardly learning anything, so naturally I went on a run!
3 mile run in 28.41 minutes.
I recommend a quick workout over a quick nap for several reasons: It gives you energy, forces, and motivation to continue the rest of your task that day!
New Years Resolution
Although we are only 1 month into the new year I’m proud to say I have kept up my New Years resolution! In 2018 I told myself I was gonna be confident, I was going to say yes to new things and no to things I didn’t want to do, and I am going to be brave.
It hasn’t been easy, especially as an introvert, to be confident and to be brave. I have given myself multiple pep talks in my car and reminders to try new things and talk to new people.
I can’t wait to see what the next 11 months will bring!
