EVENT #3: A - R O Y AL - I N V I T E

Since the first Rift, the Wardens have been growing in fame and influence across the Eldrissian kingdoms. High King Darius has been gritting his teeth ever since Miwor Town pledged allegiance to the Wardens. Whilst he may regard them as meddlesome rebels, there is no denying that the other powers in the continent are watching the new faction closely. The High King does not want to feel weakened or threatened by the mere existence of a small, ragtag group of adventurers. Consequently, he has invited the Wardens to attend the annual summer festival during the Sunhour month which transforms Highwing into the colourful centre of celebrations, politics and balls. He hopes to prove to the world that the Wardens are not as great or valiant as the common people hope them to be, and he has a special card up his sleeve that he is certain will bring out the Wardens’ rebellious sides. This card is a captured Warden in Highwing’s darkest dungeons. During torture, the High Mother and High Father attempted to intervene as they knew the boy’s real identity. They claimed the Warden to be of royal blood but Darius scoffed at this claim! In his eyes, this is only further proof that the Wardens are indeed rebels and they have set their sights on the throne - HIS throne.

The Leader of the Wardens has asked her members to attend. Even if the High King is aggressive towards their faction, they cannot reject such a powerful invite and they must find their captured ally. It is important that some Wardens are mixing in with the celebrations to distract any watchful eyes away from the palace’s heart, so that other Wardens can take the opportunity to explore the palace. Find that missing Warden at all costs.

Summary:

THIS IS A PRE-EVENT for the upcoming A - R O Y A L - E V E N T which will be launched between the 14th and 17th July. The exact date will be confirmed in our Discord notifications.

The admins invite you to build some hype for his huge event by creating moodboards of your character’s outfits, emotions or motives during this ‘celebration’. Create playlists for the dark dungeons where the Wardens will have to overcome some of the most challenging magical traps and puzzles to reach the inner chambers. Or create the jolly playlists of the festival’s many parties. This is a creative event! Have fun.
