A bitch just got MEGA sad

You know sometimes you just have a moment rewatching a show and your feelings for your ship kind of changes? Irrevocably? I had it on the weekend and it came about because of one word spoken by Thomas Hamilton. I’d heard the line no few times but I’d heard it completely wrong. 

So the captain’s ship has arrived blah blah and Miranda says: 

It's not the rumors that concern me.

It's the scrutiny that follows that...

Thomas says the below:

So because the camera is on her face for most of the line I never got the significance, or rather never heard it correctly. Shared a bed. Not share a bed. I mean James has arrived from Nassau and it’s been 3 months, but you wouldn’t use the past tense because of that. You’re committed lovers and the bed sharing continues so if Miranda was still having it off with James Thomas wouldn’t say that - shared. So the only people sharing beds becomes James and Thomas. (Yes, there’s her and Thomas, but let’s face it I’m not entirely convinced by them.)

She then says the classic: I'm concerned they might dig past that and discover something far more damaging than that. Red flag waved, we got you and this is where the dude bros start wrinkling their brows.

Anyway the below makes more sense to me now. It never sat right with me how sad she looked here after they kiss in front of her. I guess it makes sense she pulls this face, it’s a literal sign of resignation. That was the end, probably, of her relationship with both of them, platonic (probably) with Thomas and sexual with James. 

She was out and that’s why when James storms in after Thomas has been taken away, she does the I’m enraged speech. Thomas was my husband. Because who is he, James, to cause a fuss after months, when she’s had many years with Thomas?

That was the end of the Flinthamiltons for me because I’m very bad at imagining things for fic that canon belies. I can do grey and implied, but not against like above. It was just James and Thomas and their ‘something else entirely’. 

This woman was done a dirty and I never noticed. She then sacrifices it all for both men, first Thomas and then James for 10 years and so close to having the life she wants, she’s murdered by some random. RIP Miranda Hamilton and my flinthamiltons ship. I loved my bi poly paradise and I wanted it but no.

I saw a gigantic dinosaur toy at Target today...but it was like $54 and even tho I had the money for it, my mom likes to know what I get with my gift cards so she would make me feel guilty for using half the gift card on a gigantic dinosaur toy >.>

But like....all I've been thinking about is that giant dinosaur and now I dont have enough money for it 😥 I mean look at how cool it is!!!!!!

[10:28pm] you come home later than expected. but once you open the door, it’s eerily silent. walking through the hallway, you notice how messy and cluttered your small apartment truly is.

a faint sound of snoring sends a smile to your face and you make your way towards it. standing by the doorframe of the master bedroom is husband!johnny sleepily cradling your newborn in his arms. he dips his head and sends you a lazy smile.
