I couldn't help but think of this concept after seeing this post. *Check out @horologiiiumart to see their Pizza Tower AU* Cartoons! We know them from age to style, whether it be classics or modern day. The most unique of them being particular movies like Who Framed Rodger Rabbit, Space Jam and Looney Tunes Back In Action.
What makes these quite special, especially the forner, are the interactions between our world with the cartoon side. Toons live on completely different rules unlike normal people. Any natural laws of the world being replaced with their cartoon version.
Jumping ridiculous heights outta sheer fright, bodies mold and stretch when interacting with certain things or storing objects much stronger than the average pocket easily. It is an easy thing for a toon to understand and do. But what if there's an exception to this rule.
Weretoons are a very unique entity amongst were-beings. A non-toon being who becomes a fully functional Toon under various conditions. The basic being a full or crescent moon on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. (Days where new episodes for cartoons usually air on said night or incoming morning.)
*Caution must be heeded around Weretoons during the Blood Moon! Their antics have a high probability of not only becoming malicious but can potentially maim normal people! Lunar Eclipses will increase their aggression too.
Solar Eclipses and Blue Moons are the only safest shift alternatives for normal folk. Although it is best to keep an eye on inexperienced Weretoons with the latter. Blue Moons can cause uncontrollable sadness or unhealthy actions related to it.*
Transformations can also be triggered by excessive laughter, vengeful rage, or exposure to certain quantity of ink. Essentially the building blocks for cartoons in simpler terms. (Their purpose, the rules and creation of the popular Rubberhose.)
There is no clue if they occur naturally but these can be created through artificial means. Like any epidemic, it involved a Patient 0 and enough people to get infected for it to be impossible to eradicate. A Weretoon can spread their influence through biting, organ/blood transfusion, or their descendants.
*The percentage of those who become Weretoons through heritage start at 80% before dwindling down to the average 20% further down the bloodline.*
Weretoons don't always share the same species between non-toon and toon forms. A large chunk of individuals gain unrelated features or can become a completely different species upon a shift. EX: One human can become a Cartoon Dragon while another turns into a cartoon version of themselves.
In toon form, the Weretoon doesn't follow all natural laws. A good chunk are instead replaced with the Cartoon Laws of Physics. These new rules mainly focus on motion, objects, matter and gravity. Non-toons can be subjected to them by a Toon in the right moment.
Weretoons are born with a unique type called Tropes. These often determine their abilities and what kind of cartoon shenanigans they can do. Here's a simple list involving the more known ones. Link to a character archetypes for those who want to delve further.
Strongman- A trope that embodies incredible physical prowess such as strength or speed unmatched by many.
Eldritch Horror- A trope which manifests in transformations which range from varying degrees of body horror for intimidation and frights.
Jester- A trope that focuses on crafting mischief onto others on usually dangerous or potentially lethal levels.
Chaos Agent- A trope which embodies sheer mayhem with no care for the immense destruction wrought and anything caught up in the antics. *Most dangerous*
Loser- A trope that manifests as various degrees of misfortune or lackluster skill which can affect more than just the possessor.
Mad Scientist- A trope where anything can be made possible through science but will go wrong at some point and be possibly inhumane.
Magician- A trope which can turn the simplest sleight of hand into actual magic as long as the trick isn't fully interrupted.
Defense against Weretoons often varies upon the respective form. They can be killed like any non-toon equivalent if unable to or haven't shifted. It is highly important to not cause an blood drawing injury when a Weretoon is in mid-shift.
*This video is pretty good at explaining further depths on the concept of dealing with a toon.*
This often leads to a creation of a Clone. Clones are Toons born from this process and can create Weretoons just like their predecessors. The only differences between them being their tropes, appearance but also nature. Most clones tend to be very off-point or malformed versions of their Weretoon creators.
Their intelligence and copied memories usually varies between how close they are in resemblance to the original. All Clones are very clingy which often leads to stalking until taught not to. They tend to be very hostile with those deemed a threat to their Weretoon or said creator if mistreated enough.
It is near impossible to kill/injure a Clone and Weretoon in toon form except for one thing: The Dip. A lethal concoction of turpentine, acetone and benzene that became a real threat upon the popular staple status attained by Who Framed Rodger Rabbit. Weretoons can get hurt by it even if they aren't in toon form. Ink is the only thing that can treat Dip injuries. A fully submerged Weretoon will be severely burned in non-toon form and death can follow if they shift before removing the solution.
The Dip is a popular tool almost a particular group of people known as Cartoon Hunters. A common fear amongst Weretoons and Clones since these individuals will go to any length to kill a confirmed person. Most Cartoon Hunters won't let any moral boundaries like innocence or victims get in their way. Only the death of the Weretoons matter to them.
Dangers such as these led to most living in hiding or secret communities. Weretoons can be considered tall tales and crazy stories due to how elusive their nature has become. That doesn't mean there isn't a chance someone in your neighborhood can be one.
Ok with Reno becoming Kaiju No.8 and Kafka with the Omnitrix in the crossover I could see the media and the Defense think 'Shapeshifter' is teaching Kaiju No.8
Okay so Reno's Kaiju form is different from Kafka's. If I have to sum it up, replace the black with dark blue, the highlighted muscles are light blue than green, body is more leaner, has a long spiked tail, longer neck and face is more reptilian in nature. Think Frosticons from Mixels, specifically Lunk/Flurr, in both color palette but also the ability to freeze things.
Kafka definitely trains Reno as the younger man doesn't exactly have an automatic timer nor anything else keeping him from shifting at random. Plus ice powers are a bit more problematic if you accidentally sneeze up a blizzard in human form. Good thing Kafka has Pyrobloom to melt away the ice.
Sorry for the very very late answer as there was no notification but I have a few Trollhunter related AUs. Heartstone Healer which involves Jim being a golem similar to the character Knack, Uncle Leon where Resident Evil Leon is Toby's uncle, To Become Maddening where Jim gets trapped in the Madness Combat universe as a child then returning three years later as an experienced killer, and Dance of Destiny where Jim astroprojects into the Monster Hunter world and become a hunter with tribal style magic.
Another Trollhunters AU but with another big twist.
No one knew exactly how it happened but one day a once dead Heartstone had been found fully revived. A phenomenon that steadily began to grow as more regain their beautiful light and soul warming auras. Trolls call this strange occurrence 'The Great Miracle' for many lost homes had become lively once.
A lot of individuals began to look into what cause these Heartstone revivals, each with their own reason. Yet nobody have gotten a single step closer to the truth. Whether it been the work of an unknown individual or lost magic, an answer still hadn't been found.
Until one day Blinkous "Blinky" Galadrigal came across something odd in his library. A small fast figure that zoom about until eventually it hid itself inside a chest. Blinky thought it was a scared whelp at first, softly beckoning the supposed child out from their hiding spot.
What came out hadn't been a troll whelp nor anything the six eyed troll seen before. A peculiar stone creature who unknown to all, might be responsible for the Great Miracle. Or something even greater.
If you are wondering, yep, the strange creature is Jim. Figured why not mess around with a different form for him than just a troll, changeling or half troll/changeling. Species choice for me is a golem specifically the Knack style.
The design fits perfectly for this as Jim definitely looks like a troll yet his peculiar nature overshadows it. Even more so since he can change his size by creating relics, the parts of his body, to become a small kaiju. Jim's smallest or "child form" is around 2'1 but his maximum size is 42 ft! Bigger he is, the more he bears a resemblance to his canon half troll form with a little Beast Jim mixed in. Albeit there are some differences like a tail.
He's quite powerful however the golem has a major weakness. The golden chest orb contains Jim's soul. It taking damage can be fatal but he will die if the item is destroyed. An issue that shall become clear as things continue.
Now there are some major changes when it comes to this AU and Trollhunters canon. Gunmar nor his forces are stuck in the Darklands. They were forced to be an enigmatic tribe who soon take shelter in the US' Badlands where a restored Heartstone is at. Role of Trollhunter is more like a peacekeeping job since there are way more communities than just Arcadia Trollmarket.
Changelings also have their own market and are a more reclusive tribe due to prejudice. They pretend to be lost twins, unknown family members or orphans as a way to gain resources, survive and on rare occasions live amongst humans. Arcadia Trollmarket is neutral territory where no one is allowed to cause a scene unless they handle their issues in a competition. Don't abide by the rules is asking to be ostracized by every community.
Now Jim's behavior tends to reflect his size with small form being a curious little kid and largest as a playful young man. Like any child, you can expect him to get into all kinds of trouble especially when it comes to sneaking out. This is how Jim meets the cast while giving Blinky an aneurysm.
Barbara and Strickler are dating but the avocado hasn't told her about his Changeling nature(probably never will). Little Jim has other plans as guess who strolls up to them on a park date. Toby is the next person who already has Gnome Chompski but been keeping the guy a secret from everyone except Nana.
Claire already has NotEnrique too since he's one of the Changelings looking for a better life. Jim also pays a visit to the Badlands, may have scared Bular shitless and Gunmar might(definitely) wants adopt/kidnap the little guy. Angor Rot pops up too as children tend to find stuff they shouldn't than just stranger interaction. Innocent little kid gives troll assassin his soul back.
Not even Draal, Kanijar and Vendel are escaping a visit. The Old Goat is more curious than the others at what Jim is but already has a feeling he's behind the Great Miracle. Draal decides to be the big brother role model cause he senses the golem is gonna be a force to be reckoned with if trained right. Kanijar is the second person to have an aneurysm as he knows Jim must be a whelp and an unsupervised child scares him shitless.
The Arcane Order also want to spirit him away although Nari is more motherly in her reason. Jim been bringing magic back with each Heartstone revived and they believe he might be able to restore Primordial Heartstones with enough power. A young Titan and maybe even a new god to be.
Blinky is the obvious book dad who wants to teach his new ward everything about troll culture as a whole. Finding out Jim's origins is just a nice bonus. AAARRRGGHH is the chill dad that's most likely to have a certain golem on his back like a koala. He finds the little guy as nice company and likes to play games or just relax with Jim.
Morgana and Merlin are the only characters not trying to adopt Jim. The shadow sorceress isn't imprisoned in the Arcadia Heartstone but instead had most of her magic sealed away. She is steadily getting it back through her assassin, who been doing some dirty work. However Jim threw a wrench in that by giving Angor his soul back.
Merlin wants to stop her for good but the battle also cost him. Douxie been helping him recover until Jim's existence becomes known throughout the wizard community. Merlin believes his power can be what they need to stop Morgana once and for all. Although Douxie doesn't know if his master has no qualm whether Jim dies to perform the task.
In short, practically everyone wants the peculiar golem with most being adoption papers. A fluffy yet chaotic AU chaotic where Jim is as much of a chaos bringer like his canon self but on another level. Plus it be hilarious if this version met his canon counterpart.
Congrats Jimbo, you gotten a younger brother whose an alternate version of yourself! Have fun especially if its during the New Jersey exodus. I might also experiment more on the Heartstone revival concept. That's it for now! Until next time folks, I'll see you back in Arcadia!
A ramble stirred from insomnia, curiosity and a thought that has been stuck in my head for DAYS. If the title wasn't a clue then it's about potential hybrids involving our favorite extraterrestrial robots from the Transformers franchise. This will include possible creation methods outside the stereotypical pregnancy as I prefer variety and some people are uncomfortable about it too.
For who is chosen, basically any non-humans mentioned from posts here or my main blog. Posts in question: FEOCP, Glamorous Mishaps. Let's begin.
Deku Scrub
Let's start with a LoZ race rarely utilized as an civilization, much less expanded on in concept than just the normal enemy stereotype. A creation of a hybrid would be a Spark energy charged seed or Cybertronian metal engulf in magically charged Deku leaves. These options stemming from Deku Scrubs being plant like beings.
Both seedlings are can planted underground or put in an incubator. Like plants, they develop quite quickly if given enough sunlight and water. The Sparkling will emerge from a fully grown Deku Flower. It serves a tool for protection passed down by their botanical parent.
The youngling can use these flowers as a bunker to avoid harm until they're fully grown. Deku Flowers from hybrids are VERY durable, non-flammable, and still able to grow even when it's respective bitlit had matured. It's an uncommon tradition that these flora are handed down through generations or given to a potential sparkmate as part of a Conjunx ritual.
Hybrids mature at a similar rate to humans but can live for a very very VERY long time. No matter the frame type, they tend to reach staggering sizes thanks to their symbiotic halves. How big? Those with a Minicon parent can disguise themselves as a medium sized tree while a cityformer can mimic an entire large forest!
Every Deku Cybertronian hybrid are half plant and machine with both sides in a symbiotic relationship. They can consist of a normal Transformer diet or choose to nourish themselves via photosynthesis plus water. Hybrids are most likely to be born with chlorokinesis(ability to control plants), magic potential, and on rare occasions both.
Deku Cybertronian can disguise themselves as plants with the usual option being trees or large flora such as bushes. Although they're often mistaken for botanical cryptids like dryads. It's advised to be nice to nature unless you want to piss off these particular hybrids.
When it comes to their EM fields, many describe as being around nature. These feelings can range from frolicking in a peaceful meadow to getting destroyed by a tornado. Even non-Cybertronian races such as humans can feel it!
Yaoguai
Next up are a species that originate from Chinese mythology. A hybrid can be created through various means but the most common is the charm method. Objects charged with their respective parents energy that 'hatch' over time or an immediate creation of a newspark.
Charms can come in different forms but must contain an element from both creators. Yaoguai Cybertronian hybrids tend to be Triple Changers with a beast form and beast like traits that varies depending on their supernatural parent. These include: rabbits, eastern dragons, Qilin(chimeric/draconic horse), skeleton, spider, ogre, etc. For traits: scales, fur, feathers, etc.
Hybrids tend to be born with an orientation towards magic. This can range into any branch of the mystical arts that becomes noticeable as Sparklings mature. A hybrid might be born with element manipulation specifically water, fire, metal, earth or wind depending on the yaoguai parent.
Yaoguai Cybertronian mature at different rates between individuals. Some are on the same level as humans or take 50-100 years. The maturation factor is random.
Hybrids can subsist on a Cybertronian diet, their yaoguai parent's diet or even human food. Caution is advised if the other half comes from vampiric/cannibalistic species like jiangshi. Food therapy is required for these particular hybrids to avoid endangering others through hunger.
Yaoguai Cybertronians can live for a very long time with spirit types being ageless. They share their supernatural parent's weakness but it's only half effective no matter the species. A harmonious heritage that embodies the mystical and mechanical.
Yaoguai Cybertronian's EM field tend to be quite mixed but also share a magic like feel. How these are read by others depend on the element one possesses. Fire= warm to burning, Water= cool to drenched/freezing, wind= breeze to a intense storm, metal= firm to crushingly heavy, and earth = gentle to an seismic quake.
Data Virus
Moving from magic to technological here. Hybrids are born through a 'cobble', a mesh between Cybertronian metal and virus coding. A newspark develops in a special incubator that steadily feeds data into the cobble.
This is to protect anything technological without virus protection from having their systems crashed. Up to 3-6 Sparklings emerge between 1-2 weeks depending on how much data is fed into the cobble. These hybrids are kept in a special containment for a few days as their corruptive nature needs time to stabilize.
Newsparks can't crash their respective Cybertronian parent. An adaptation said to be crafted during incubation inside the cobble. Some hybrids bear various visible features or traits depending on their virus parent.
Virus Cybertronian are born with different levels of datakinesis and data corruption. It's vital to have powerful debugging programs alongside virus protection to properly handle young hybrids. Maturation for the species is 20-25 years. This is due to the virus carefully developing, refining and melding the mechanical half to increase survival.
Hybrids are essentially ageless but quite mellow with those around them. Virus Cybertronians can travel through data networks and often make temporary homes during long travels. If one is staying in your computer then show common courtesy as they feed on errors or other viruses.
Hybrids can live on a Cybertronian diet but usually prefer harmful data. Unique Triple Changers that are able to create their own secondary alt mode. These special modes always suit a Virus Cybertronian's being as a whole. When it comes to imagination, these hybrids go beyond.
EM fields from these Virus Cybertronians can be described as intense. Any shared with non-hybrids or respective family are water down a bit. This is because their EM fields are strong enough to make the receiver have constant errors to even a temporary system reboot! Yikes!
And that's it for now! Until next time folks, Transform and Roll Out!
Imagine a child with a huge destiny like Lego Monkie Kid's MK(an example) finding a peculiar plushie left abandoned on the street.
Whether it be a doll in the form of failed MAG Hank J. Wimbleton, a fallen demigod of wrath known as Asura or a Fierce Deity incarnation of Hyrule's hero Link. This doll is cared for and cherished.
A toy much more than it appears to be...alive in a way you least suspect. Aggressive, dangerous and highly protective bordering possessive. Best not to harm the bearer of this toy for it won't play nice.
The Trollhunter Kanijar finds a very gruesome sight and the smell of a human whelp missing from the carnage. Even madness can claw its way into an innocent child.
Connected with the 'To Become Maddening AU! Warnings for: Heavy Gore, Blood, and Attempted Abduction. You've been warned!
"In these lands, it's kill or be killed. You can never turn back once you take a life./The blood will stain your hands as the madness sinks its claws, child./Yes! YES! Show Clown that little buddy has the eyes of a monster!/Do what comes natural or die, squirt. Pull the damn trigger!"
They had gotten reports of strange stone monsters near the California borders. It was natural for Sector 49-B to investigate once pictures cropped up on the internet. They had found a den of beasts within a cave in the forest, two adults and five juveniles. Stone for skin and moss like material for fur.
Adults put up one hell of a fight with a few casualties but the creatures were restrained. Their colorful forms now ensnare in energy bindings while the chloroform in the muzzles sedate them. Unfortunately the juveniles immediately scatter in the initial assault.
Colonel Kubritz ordered a live bag in and tag. The bodies would be dealt with once all the creatures were caught. It should've been an easy task thanks to their advance state of the art technology. A foolish notion as no one realized a real monster was on the hunt.
It was another lively night for the citizens of Trollmarket. Various trolls enjoying a drink whilst they trade tales at the bar, Bagdwella's normal conflict against gnomes, and even the rare few were sparring. A normality that instantly shatter when a loud roar tore through the entire market.
"READY THE HEALERS! WE HAVE INJURED TROLLS!" The harsh howl belonging to none other than Kanijar the Courageous, the current Trollhunter and protector of Trollkind. His large armored frame carefully support two limping trolls as their five whelps follow behind.
The children had little scratches but were otherwise fine. Same couldn't be said for their parents though. Scorch marks wrapped around the arms, legs, and face from those 'magic bindings', the father had his right horn plus his left tusk broken, the mother now missing a chunk of her back while both horns were cut in half.
The sight had instantly brought a large crowd as multiple trolls went to escort the family to the Heartstone. Yet, none noticed the look in Kanijar's eyes. One of haunting dread as he recall the incident on his way to Vendel.
It had been a simple request at first. A Trollmarket citizen was worried about their cousin's family at the borders and ask him to check on them. What Kanijar stumble upon on his way there wasn't a peaceful forest. No, what found was a battlefield full of blood.
Human bodies in the dozens scattered haphazardly like a macabre mural. Torn limbs hung off the tree branches, split open corpses had their organs strewn across the ground, vultures ate away at the exposed fresh pinkish brain matter outta open or smashed skulls, and blood had flood the soil in large crimson pools. Kanijar cringe at the heavy scent of iron that overtaken the clean forest air.
They were all soldiers from the broken weapons and shredded uniforms, most likely hunters as the Trollhunter saw multiple human transports the further he went. Every tire been slashed to pieces while some were missing their engines. A few corpses hung limply from the blood stained upholstery and seats.
Kanijar has seen the horrors of war over his long life yet... There was something about this that made his gut twist in knots. A scent hidden underneath all this blood and death. It was familiar but he couldn't put a finger on it.
Kanijar took a small pouch from the hammer space in his armor and took out a small perfectly cut pietersite. "This should the reveal the truth." He then inserted the stone into his armor where the Amulet of Daylight laid.
It's crystalline blue face burn a bright light blue as Kanijar's helmet visor slid down. The bloodbath around him instantly broke apart like glass with once dead soldiers in strange puffy yellow suits now standing on guard. Both adult trolls laid on the ground snared by bright green magic shackles.
At least 10 soldiers were prepping the unconscious parents for transport. Some were on the hunt for the missing whelps from what Kanijar can gather since one hunter was using a "walkie talkie". All of it reminded the Trollhunter about the ancient conflict his people had with humans.
Particularly the fleshbags that saw trolls as toys or at worst; experiments. The dark thought was instantly torn apart in seconds when he felt it. An intense wave of pure unfiltered killing intent. There were few things that pietersite could translate through the Trollhunter's amulet than just view past events.
One example is how dangerous a particular threat is in the form of killing intent. The best way for Kanijar to describe is like weighted stone slabs. Heavier it feels, the deadlier the opposition. And right now the Trollhunter felt like he was carrying a mountain on his back.
*BANG* Kanijar froze as the yellow suited soldier on the walkie talkie fell dead, what was once a head now blown into pieces. "What the hell?!?" He barely caught the dark blur run past the hunters handling the unconscious trolls. Their bodies exploded outwards as slices of viscera paint the trees and their unassuming comrades.
'So fast! I need to readjust the pietersite or else I won't see the assailant!' Kanijar turn one of the hands on Amulet, the scene around him slowing down in time for him to see it. On top the tallest tree was a lone figure.
Their body cover by a thick long black coat adorn by midnight blue stripes that resemble claws from the sides, shoulders and arm sleeves. Pitch black slightly puffy pants held onto a thick belt, obsidian heavy duty boots which had metal soles, black fingerless gloves with spike knuckles.
Their face hidden by a midnight blue face mask, long forest green scarf flutter around their neck, midnight blue hood that held false horns and black goggles which bear emerald green lens shone ominously in the moonlight cover their head.
In the left hand was a human contraption called a gun, a Desert Eagle from what his peculiar intel will later tell him. The right is a katana with a dragon head on the hilt and strange lettering on the blade(means 'Crush, Destroy, Kill.' in Thai.) What had Kanijar concerned had been the figure's frame.
It was too small and scrawny to be a troll. Changeling didn't fit right either as their peculiar frames still had some troll like bulk. Humans couldn't move that fast nor have such precise power. It then hit Kanijar like a truck.
The scent that had been obscured under all the blood and viscera. One quite familiar despite the centuries of time gone by. He couldn't forget what his son Draal will always be to him. "By Deya's Grace... it's a whelp."
"Up in the trees!!" Every soldier aimed their weapons at the young whelp assailant. Like a Stalking from above, the small fighter dove down from their perch... And utter hell was unleashed.
One second the whelp was on the tree top and the next they were right in one soldier's. Desert Eagle aimed 5 inches away from their larger opponent's head. Whelp didn't hesitate to pull the trigger as the metal bullet pierce the black visor akin to paper.
The death was enough to jolt the Hunters into firing their more advanced blasters at the attacker. Kanijar merely watch the whelp use the body as a spring board to launch themselves forwards. Small lithe form weave past every deadly blast of emerald energy like a serpent.
The child's blade split multiple shots in half with a simple swipe almost if it was child's play. Sword met yellow fabric covered flesh in seconds as the whelp plunge it right through the heart. To add further insult, they flung the body forward like a makeshift shield.
Emerald blasts tore through the carcass spreading blood and chunks of meat everywhere. Yet the whelp was the only one unfazed as they use the distraction to fire multiple rounds. Kanijar couldn't help but feel ill seeing the massacre continues.
It was crystal clear that the whelp had been taught to fight this way. A calculated killer whose strikes were as ferocious as they were lethal. Every bullet's aim was to shatter heads and hearts. Their blade swung to cleave flesh but also bone without fail.
An assassin as brutal as the Pale Lady's Champion Angor Rot. Something that filled Kanijar with righteous fury than just horror. No whelp should fight like this. The realm of battle wasn't made for them but seasoned warriors who chose this path.
Kanijar nearly lunge forward into the illusion when one Hunter had manage to catch the whelp. They went to restrain them only for the small assailant to pull aside their face mask. Moonlight shone on a mutilated pudgy face of a human.
Their mouth was torn so badly that large razor sharp teeth, bloody gums, to even meaty cheek flesh could be seen, the lower jaw replaced by a metal jaw akin to a bear trap. Kanijar watch as the whelp viciously bit into their captor's neck. A loud feminine scream fell dead when the whelp tore out their throat in seconds.
The child reclaimed their weapons and leapt so high into the air that not even the most agile Changeling could reach. For a split second, Kanijar saw a spot on their upper right chest shone a bright blood red. Then the remaining Hunters suddenly fell in various states of carnage with the child standing harmlessly at the center.
Heads crush to pieces, bodies torn so viciously that their organs were mincemeat, and everything else been made into useless scraps. There was no way the whelp could move so fast as the Trollhunter set the pietersite to its lowest speed. 'Did they stop time?'
It was the only plausible answer Kanijar could come up with. Just what he needed, a whelp assassin who can stop time. The Trollhunter watch as the child approach the unconscious trolls. In one clean swipe, their bindings were torn to pieces.
The whelp began to collect the broken stone fragments of the trolls and stuff them in a bag. Kanijar quietly follow their small visage as they drag the unconscious trolls back to their den. The whelps were all gathered there safely, all of them were scared until the human came back with their parents.
It was like a switch as the small assassin took out playing cards and began to perform simple card tricks. The human whelp had kept watch of the family whilst entertaining the frightened trolls until their parents awaken. Small bag with the broken troll flesh was left behind so they could be reattached by healers.
Once the adults began to regain consciousness, they immediately made their departure. Although the whelps were given a Queen of Hearts card before the human whelp left. Kanijar cut the pietersite's magic as he now had the answers about the family's current location.
The Trollhunter can only imagine Vendel's reaction to the news. A mutilated human whelp who wields time magic alongside the skills of a veteran assassin. Kanijar will have to ask his 'chair guy' for help on finding them, minus the gruesome details. He couldn't let the child continue like this as they still had their kind heart.
"Maybe Draal can keep watch of the human whelp while AAARRRGGHH tames their bloodlust. Once the family gets settled in, I'll ask if they can let me look over the playing card. The scent left on it would make the search easier."
Meanwhile at the outskirts of Arcadia, a certain young boy steadily walk towards the sleeping town. His bright blue eyes no longer hidden by green tinted goggles as his face mask hid the boy's gorey mouth. "I'm almost home, Mom and Toby."
And that's it. Trust me when I say Jim here is a little fucked up in the head. Only thing I can tell you is that the reason why happens the same time his face got terribly torn. This also goes for the supposed 'time stop' ability. A coup de grace so don't expect him to spam it.
Jim's outfit here is partly based on the concept art for Hank J. Wimbleton from the live action Madness Project Nexus trailer. The rest are here. I can imagine there are some weaponry and terms Kanijar isn't familiar with.
I'll be drawing it later alongside Jim's scarred face. As for Sector 49-B, they'll be much more dangerous and sadistic than in canon. I'm talking about SCP Foundation levels of bad. This mainly stems from how brutal the Madness Combat side of this AU is.
You're mostly gonna see more gore in some chapters just like this drabble. Plus I'll be using some of the Trollhunter's novel material too than just the rating. You'll also see more usage on the Amulet's stone based magic. Pietersite is something used for investigation purposes as it can replay past events. How long depends on how perfectly cut the stone is.
With it, a Trollhunter can pause, slow down, or speed up interactions. Pietersite gives audio and visual details but also threat levels if the scene had been a battle. It reads how dangerous a potential threat is in the form of pressure with killing intent being the best to translate.
That troll family will be popping up later in the story too! I originally planned to kill the parents but decided against it. Trollmarket is practically gonna curb his bloodlust as he can't really do it anywhere else without being put in a mental asylum.
Until next time folks, continue to thrive in the madness as I'll see you back in Arcadia.
Hello everyone! Mentioned in the recent version of Sun Wukong and Macaque with MK's Parent, I said something about a procedure. One where MK now shares the Digicore of his Lopmon partner, Medi. We're talking about it here.
ReNexus is a very rare medical procedure that consists of a Digimon sharing their Digicore with a human. Digicores are essentially the heart and soul of a Digimon, something that can put both parties in danger if done wrong. ReNexus can only be performed under one specific reason, the human patient must be dying.
Whether it be by lethal injuries or deadly illness, being near death is the only way for it to happen. The Digimon 'donor' will have small harmless sized pieces of their Digicore taken out and embedded in the person's body. Where will it be placed depends on the patient's medical condition. Any injury based incidents will be at the center of the patient's chest.
For MK, they were placed in his heart as its frailty would soon kill him. If the patient in question is a type of Tamer, then their partner Digimon usually the donor cause the bond between boasts strong compatibility alongside the chance of it being a success. If not, then it'll be a Digimon whose personality or element would match. EX: Free spirited patients have better compatibility with wind element Digimon.
There are side effects once ReNexus is fully completed and the patient begins to recover. Common one is slight changes in their appearance. They'll gain physical traits based off the Digicore of their donor.
This can range from claws, horns, ears, tails, fangs, scales, fur, feathers, or even wings. Mainly depends on the Digimon donor in question. For MK, the horns, ears and markings of his Lopmon Medi. These changes can be hidden with a simple thought but it'll take practice. A reason why a small device capable of doing the same thing is usually given cause some traits aren't easily covered up by clothing.
Some rarer side effects for post ReNexus patients are the ability to use elements and in even rarer cases, the moves of the Digimon donor. If the Digicore pieces came from an Agumon, then the human could gain minor pyrokinesis or even use Agumon's signature Pepper Breath attack. (Pepper Breath is spitting out a medium sized fireball, not actually peppers lol.)
ReNexus does have a chance of causing a side effect for the Digicore donor. This is being unable to digivolve whether completely or at certain stages. The reason being that the human they donated their core have become a requirement for Digivolution now. This type of Digivolution where Digimon and human merge together is called Biomerge.
Despite this being a minor inconvenience, Biomerge between ReNexus patient and their Digimon donor make the next stage much stronger than without it. EX: Champion Level Digimon being able to fight almost equally with Ultimate.
(Digimon stages for those not well-versed when it comes to this franchise, from beginning to end. Fresh/Newborn, In-Training, Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, Mega, and Ultra. Armor Digivolution is completely separate with the power range being more sporadic compared to normal route.)
You'll be seeing ReNexus in other headcanons and fanfiction. When it does, I'll put the link to this blog page on it.
All you guys can also try your hand at this as well! I like to see the creativity and potential world building everyone can do with this. Next headcanon for Sun Wukong and Macaque with MK's Parent will be coming up alongside a few others.
That's it for now! Until next time folks, I'll see you later!
