The “And suffering will be your teacher” Zuko and Ozai scene but it’s Uther and Arthur instead 💔
“Stand and fight Prince Arthur. Fight for your honor.”
“I won’t fight you.”
“Then so be it. You will not disrespect me again.”

So Tma took over my life, and before that I was heavily in the merlin fandom. So here's which entity I think each merlin character is aligned with/ serves.
Merlin - lonley + end
Arthur - the hunt
Uther - the slaughter
Gwaine - spiral/vast
Early morgana- stranger + hunt
Late morgana- spiral + hunt
Gwen - lonley?
Lancelot - desolation
Gaius - the eye
Leon - the end
Elyan - desolation
Percival - flesh?
Mordred - stranger
Freya - corruption
George - lonley
Explanation/thoughts and ramble below the cut.
BBC Merlin and Haunted Hotel crossover idea where Merlin got sent to a haunted asylum in America back in the 19th-early 20th century after having a mental breakdown or something where he meets Abaddon who keeps claiming is a powerful demon from Hell and Merlin is like "sure you are kid". Coincidentally, Abaddon thinks Merlin is just a madman who claims to be the Merlin awaiting for King Arthur's return.
And it'd also be really funny if they both stumbled on eachother on their respective little plans to escape the asylum where they realize the other was being fr.
(psttttt... @littlemisscryptid ... The crossover idea...)
Earlier I've asked myself the question which element would be Merlin's primary element in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe and honestly, that question is so hard to answer
Because he grew up as a village farmer boy. That speaks for Earth nation. They're strong, persistent and enduring, which fits Ealdor with food shortages and bandit raids. He has used magic to pry metal bars aside, similar to metal bending
Then there's water. Water is associated with healing and he's studying to become a physician. He has used magic to make fog appear or to heal. It's the element of change, which he strives to bring about and also adapts to whatever the situation needs. The vilia, which are like water ghosts, healed him. The water tribes are also extremely loyal and community-focused
Fire seems like a popular pick. He's a dragonlord and dragon's are the animals of firebenders. It's the element of power and passion, something Merlin has no shortage of. He has made lightning appear and used magic to start the occasional fire or make shapes in the fire.
And last but not least: Air. What happened to the dragonlords is extremely similar to what happened to the Air Nomads. It's the element of freedom, something he hopes for everyday. Air Nomads are detached from wordly concerns, similar to how Merlin doesn't seem to care much about his own wealth. It's a deeply spiritual element, just like how Merlin has a deep, deep connection to other magical beings and places, stronger than any other person. He has used magic to create wind and change the weather
He truly is the ultimate Avatar, because you can make the argument with which element he'd be born with for every single one.
Mannn when ppl write or talk about a Merlin and HP crossover i NEED them to understand how insane a friendship between Merlin and Harry would be
ESPECIALLY if they think Merlin's a Sytherin
Forget the fact that they'd be so chaotic but just in the terms of the house rivalries those two would be shaking up the social stigma and societal views and expectations on a daily basis
Like what do you mean a Slytherin and a Gryffindor are friends??
they would DEFINITELY sneak each other into their house dormitories because they're curious as heck on what they look like
And theyd DEFINITELY try to single-handedly force people to understand that the house rivalries are dumb and gryffindors can be idiots as well as brave and slytherins can be kind as well as cunning
NOT TO MENTION IF SIRIUS AND SNAPE SAW THIS FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO
I MEAN COME ON
Both of them see Harry my-father-bullied-a-person-for-being-a-slytherin Potter be buddy buddy WITH a slytherin
NOT TO MENTION
Sirius would ONE THOUSAND PERCENT be thinking of his own brother and how if THIS person who's in Slytherin could be so good, than what does that say about Regulus???
How successful would Morgana Pendragon…
…be if they decided to become a pro-wrestler?

Merlin: Merlin & Lancelot | Rated: G | Length: 18 mns
Merlin, a Jedi, responds to the call he feels through the Force and finds himself on an Imperial cruiser with an injured Mandalorian and a dragon youngling strong in the Force whom he's taken on as a foundling.
Merlin and The Witcher crossovers are like Supernatural and Teen Wolf crossovers.
I am now thinking of teen wolf and the witcher crossovers
