Okay so this one is a bummer but it's been on my mind for a couple of weeks

Off the bat, shipping in this fandom is lowky really fun because everyone just agrees to do whatever the f■■■ you want and it all stems from how TSAMS is as a whole

Another thing is that like 98% of the cast are technically the same people due to the dimension factor of the show

All of this created this atmosphere where we've accepted selfcest as a part of our shipping culture but still we all know how toxic shippers are in this fandom

Im bringing this up because if the toxic shippers are so gun hoe about selfcest being bad then how come they don't address the on screen pedophilia that is played off as a joke simply because the character involved and the fact it's a non cannon video?

We all know the villans play AU but lemme just refresh your brain since the video im talking about is 2 years old

The first episode of this AU was a gang beast video and the AU is a separate dimension where Bloodmoon,Eclipse and the Stitchwraith play games together alongside Miku, a joke/bit character that is obsessed with the Celestial family though she also obsesses over literally everyone

Which, side-note, if you think about it, Miku is actually a really messed up embodiment of sexual harassment as a whole and it's weird to have her as a bit since stalking and sexual harassment are real issues people deal with irl and they are scary situations so making jokes out of someone's traumatic experiences is rude on many levels.

Anyways besides from that the biggest issue I have with this video, is how they accidentally{i hope} make a 'bit' out of pedophilia

You see the entire video is just Miku being herself and 'flirting' with the other villians and at some point she starts asking thre Stitchwraith about their type and if they would date her if she wasn't a vocaloid and she also like titanics them and calls it romantic

I'm pretty sure she also says she's had fantasys about all of them and read fanfics about them which again includes the Stitchwraith.....

Guys, Miku is an adult... I think... I hope she's an adult atleast because otherwise it's weird for a whole different set of reasons-

Though if we go off the assumption that Miku is an adult then I need you to understand that the Stitchwraith is made up of two children

Going from the age ranges we're given for Andrew and his Jake, If this was two years ago they're either 14 or 15 during that video but also take in account that {I think} the audience didn't know that at the time, during this video I'm pretty sure everyone thought Andrew and Jake were still 9, not so fun fact throughout villian plays they mention they're around 9

Do we see the problem now? Why make the decision to have an adult 'flirt' with two children?

It doesn't make any sense in the slightest and no matter how hard you try to defend this stupid a■■ 'bit' it's still pedophilia and it disgusts so badly I don't even want to watch the video

The why I bring this up is that I don't understand the problem with justified selfcest when the show itself has problematic 'bits' about pedophilia which is something definitely concerning in this fandom since nobody supports it in any way,shape or form but yet I see people not talking about this and only judging ships that are completely fine in retrospect!

if most of the cast are by all accounts the same people and the prospect of family is based off of found family so 'biologically' related characters don't actually view each as family then what's the problem with shipping them

Meanwhile MGAFS sexualizes two minors yet nobody bats an eye?

Get your priorities straight before you attack another shipper for simply minding their own business and shipping something that doesn't harm anyone and is acceptable
