Okay, hivemind, I need your help. I just finished painting this map for MHB. (my husband's book, for those of you not familiar with my current hyperfixation.) And now he has an extra request. He wants to add place names. My original idea was to do up place tags on a separate sheet and glue them on, but he pointed out that would make it impossible to roll the map up and take it to school, and the whole reason I made this was to show his students who have read the manuscript. His idea was to ink the place names directly on the map, but I used pan watercolor and the ink doesn't stick right on top of it. So, Tumblr buddies, I ask you to help me find a third method that will actually work.
