Instead of starting a second lamb I got out the proper microfibre I’d sourced and actually got on with making the hair drying turbans I’d bought it for.
[rant incoming] The starred template is lovely to look at but offends my autistic sensibilities as it feels like if static and emery boards were a fabric. It also does not draw out moisture leaving my hair as damp as when I put it on, so -1000/10 stars Primark, that’s the worst anyone’s done it. I don’t know what’s up with ‘microfibre’ these days but it ain’t what I remember it being; when I was younger we had a sports towel in actual microfibre cloth, the butteriest softest and most absorbent thing ever. If this is an example of enshittification or people being able to call anything microfibre because there’s no standardised convention, then so be it I hate it. Keep finding cloths advertised for cleaning the inside of your car windshield and I’m like, that ain’t gonna even move the water around and they feel so so so SO awful. [/rant]
So I went online and found a store selling the kind of cloth I remember and bought a small towel and that was enough for two turbans (and 6 glasses cleaning cloths with the leftovers)
Super comfy, super soft and gonna dry my hair super fast ☺️
