platonic mileven is everything to me. i love how in s1-s3 el was basically mike's child (i will never shut up about how paternal that little boy was with her—and how their dynamic paralleled the one between el and hopper), in s4 they were partners on the brink of divorce, and in s5 they clearly love each other platonically, but el is done with his ass jhgfh. she's babying him now. they've fully switched roles.
