When I made this account I mentioned minishifting 2 times so why not make a post about those! ✨
Both happened somewhere in the beginning of my journey - the first minishift in June 2021 and the second in July 2021
I was reading a Harry Potter fanfic on Wattpad. Totally jokingly I commented something like "okay, that's it, I'm shifting tonight" and then kind of forgot about it and even forgot I wanted to shift that night. I was sleeping peacefully until I "woke up" but didn't open my eyes. I could actually feel how I was spinning and it was terribly quick, I've never experienced something like this before and I used to experiment with different ways to lucid dream when I was younger. It never felt like this. And I wasn't even just spinning like "rolling", it felt like spinning in every direction possible like someone put me in a hamster ball and threw into a broken washing machine. I got very excited and it was my mistake, because I felt the surroundings change and the excitement somewhat pulled me back here I think.
Again I didn't even plan on shifting that night, although I daydreamed about the DR a lot. I was shifting to a kind of fame DR where I was a singer/influencer and I'd shift to be "friends to lovers" with Pete Davidson (don't judge my taste in men, he got the rizz 😭). I scripted that him and MGK would be in my apartment when I wake up and a few nights before I actually tried shifting there and imagined I'd wake up on a sofa in the living room. The night I minishifted I had a dream, it wasn't really lucid, and by the end of it I laid down on a sofa and I saw Pete and MGK and then my vision went black. I kept my eyes closed and I felt a bit like I was falling, didn't really feel any kind of spinning. By the time it ended, I knew I'm not in my original reality anymore. I heard two male voices speaking in English, I assumed it were Pete and MGK and I was so excited about it that, again, I ruined it and came back. Why wasn't this just a very realistic dream? I heard the voices very clearly, the only times I hear sounds in dreams clearly is when it's actually happening in the awake world like when your alarm goes off and you're just vibing to the music in your dream. And no one in my household speaks English, the TVs and other sound sources were off.
I know it were minishifts, I know they happened and yet still my brain has the audacity to sometimes question if shifting is real. It's okay to have doubts and I know that I can fully shift, it will happen eventually
