Back at the station, the adrenaline drains away and leaves something colder behind. Eddie disappears into the bathroom first. Buck thinks she’s just cleaning the scrape, running water over it, maybe catching her breath, or maybe she just needed to fucking pee. It takes longer than it should. Then Buck’s phone buzzes. I live for the drama, so... miscarriage scare headcanons? There's no miscarriage, tho! It's just a scare that happens because I'm evil lol I imagine the omega would be sick for a while, in a delicate state and all, and the alpha would be really shaken because they were not there to protect their mate? Thank you!

Hello!! 

Well, I’m glad there isn’t really a miscarriage. 

The Omega locks themselves away. Scared to do just about anything since they can’t risk actually losing the child. 

Alpha may go feral for a little bit, allowing no one to be near their mate, and not let their mate do anything themselves. 

Both the Alpha and the Omega are disappointed in themselves for not doing better and protecting their unborn child. 

The Alpha fearing the Omega leaving them / breaking the bond between them (if that is possible in your AU). Since they couldn’t stop this from ever happening.

The Omega trying to recover and be strong, for themselves, their child and their Alpha. 

Both relieved when the baby finally comes into the world.

The Dream: Oh, baby | Rysaac

"Ok....ok I'm coming right now. It's only been an hour! Fine. We're on our way" Isaac said into the phone before hanging up with Ryan. There wasn't much time that Ryan wasn't with Travis, but whenever she wasn't she was on the phone with Isaac making sure he was ok. It got a little annoying at times, but Isaac knew it was just her motherly instincts. Ryan had been like that ever since they had a miscarriage scare. "It's like I let you roll off the bed one time, and mommy doesn't trust me with you ever again." he said with a slight laugh, picking up Travis off the floor, and slipping on his shoes. Isaac turned off the TV, and walked out the door. Travis buried his face in his dad's chest as they walked across campus to the girls dorm building. Once they got to Ryan's room Isaac knocked. She opened the door almost immediately and Isaac leaned down to kiss her before walking in, and letting her grab their son out of his arms.
