Hiii! For the Miraculous au, are the akumas and Hawkmoth the same as canon?

At first, Papillon (Hawkmoth) made his akumitized victims less scary and more hard to detect, focused mostly on scouring the city for any sign of the Miraculous’.
During this time, the only hero was Ladybug, as she could handle these low-threat villains on her own and undo the damage afterwards.
Eventually, Papillon got impatient and frustrated, so be started making his victims more dangerous to try and defeat Ladybug and take her miraculous. This is when Chat Noir finally gets to appear by her side and use his powers of destruction! (He was given his miraculous at the same time Marinette got hers’, but was told to not make any appearance until Plagg knew Ladybug needed a partner. After all, it’d be bad if one miraculous was stolen, but worse if BOTH were stolen)
