まったく... We’ve come this far, haven’t we?? ALRIGHT DETECTIVES LISTEN UP!! This is Hades speaking, one of the newer mods. Due to some unfortunate events, we’re changing up the server a little bit and on how to join. This is not a negative change but we will be more strict regarding the server and it’s all.
RULE CHANGES
First of, we noticed there has been some discussions regarding minors in DMs. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT talk NSFW topics with them. It happened and no, “I didn’t know they were underage” is not an excuse. Please check if the person has the +18 role or check the introduction channel for their age. Seriously it’s not that hard.
Any disrespect towards people is not tolerated. If we see you being an ass to someone else or continue your aggressive behaviour after being told to stop, we’re keeping an eye on you. We might even kick you if it was that bad.
Further more on the NSFW stuff, any explicit NSFW goes to the NSFW subserver. No buts or why, but people get uncomfortable once the joke is taken too far.
HOW TO JOIN THE SERVER.
First of, I’d like to clarify... All invite links have been revoked and new ones won’t be generated unless you have applied to join.
For this, we’ve noticed the spike of people joining. We love meeting new people, believe us, but we also noticed rude people joining in. Obviously, we don’t want that. Hence we have created an application (which should be soon posted.), people who have joined previously can ask one of us to re-join. Newcomers however would need to apply first.
So, that’ll be all. Understood all of that?
Ooh la la who gave me access to this shiny thing? I normally lurk our facebook so you have more luck catching me there :D
However, I thought it’d be fun to share some of our newest NPC concepts for those of you on here!
Tarravi, the chest fluff lioness, belongs to Kaen and will be her namesake NPC! That progress shot is also a peek at her work!
And this dirty boy is a sneak peek at our Flea Market NPC concept. This sassy teen could use a few more baths… And a name. Stay tuned for a naming contest once he’s all fancy and finished ;D
We have several other NPCs in the works as well! I’ll gladly share more concepts, sketches and the likes if it’s something of interest! We’re definitely having a blast.

unpopular opinion but I think copyrights should automatically die when the author does

Just saw someone say rpf shippers should go make their own archive instead of posting on AO3 in the notes of one of our posts and... they did. Ao3 is that archive. The founders of AO3 explicitly made it for rpf as well. You go somewhere else.
Ugh Ao3 is really adding a blocking feature? Like I get safety from harassment and stuff but we all know how this is really gonna go, people putting blocking threats on tons of fics, going to kudos a fic and then being blocked after, and probably even more toxic crap
I felt safe on there, like I could enjoy everything I could ever want, am I gonna have to walk on eggshells there to now?
First, ao3 announced that they were going to eventually implement a blocking feature almost a year ago and when they did, they said it had been a feature they had planned to implement for longer than that. This isn't new. Acting like this is a new thing is false.
Second, you seem to be under a misapprehension. ao3 is a place for writers to post and host their works safely. It is geared towards protecting writers. The block feature is for the safety and protection of writers. The mute feature is the one geared towards readers. Every writer has the right to prevent certain people from interacting with and reading their fics if they decide to limit it to certain people. It's not up to you. Their reasons might be shitty but it's still up to them. The archive adding this feature is still them catering to writers as is the archive's purpose.
You don't have to "walk on eggshells" as you put it but a lot of people act like ao3 is a place primarily for readers when it's not. It's a place primarily for writers. Readers benefit too but it wasn't made for you in mind. Someone blocking you is not toxic. If they are putting threats on their fic, you can report them if the threats go against the tos. If they are engaging in toxic behavior that is against the tos, you can report them. But don't act like them blocking you when they don't want you engaging with them is toxic behavior. That's bullshit.
So is saying we know "how this is really going to go." ao3 takes their tos seriously. People acting counter to the tos will get shut down. But again, someone just blocking people they don't want to interact with them is not against the tos, is not toxic, and is exactly what the blocking feature is for.
