I heard there's some drama in the Paralives community with some modders putting their game mods behind paywalls. As someone who has basically no prior history with the simming community, the idea of paying for game mods is insane IMO. Especially when you consider the fact that tons of amazing mods for other games are completely free. Here's a list of a few that come to mind:

-Fallout London (Fallout 4)

-Enderal Forgotten Stories (Skyrim Special Edition)

-Stardew Valley Expanded (Stardew Valley)

-United Aurora Federation (Starsector)

-The MANY custom playable dinosaur/creature mods in Path of Titans

I understand wanting to get paid for the work you put into making a mod. But in that case, give people the option to donate money to you if they feel like supporting your work. And that's not even getting into the fact that Paralives is still in early access, and that future updates could make these paid mods completely unusable or redundant. No clue if anyone's actually gonna see this post, but that's my two cents on the matter

Machine God v. 0.7.2 is out and everytime a new version is released I cannot ignore how beautiful Iris is becoming. I'm so proud of being part of this project and shaping her with the help and incredible skills of Artifechs and @cchr11 has been an immense joy, I can't explain.

I'll probably get repetitive at every release. But the growth this OC had for me and within the community has been absurd, and I'm so thankful to have gotten this chance. ♥️

Onto v. 0.8. Hopefully there Iris's lines will be voiced 🤭

The Fallout: Ashfall team are the ones sending people on tumblr anonymous blog asks about themselves threatening to assault people on New Vegas Day. This is a guerilla marketing stunt they're pulling. They're doing this because they want to frame McJeetus Arroyo as this cyberbully who has been harassing them. they are trying to mimic his writing style to try and make it seem like his is the person harassing people do not trust the ashfall development team, they will do anything to promote their mod. besides. the writers they have working on their mod all use chat gpt to make the mod for them.

Honest shame to be honest, a Fallout game set in Hawaii sounds like a great idea, like pulling real life inspiration from the way Hawaii was illegally annexed into the United States, and that frustration that comes from getting bombed because your own nation was victim to a hostile takeover.

Sadly the only frustration I'm experiencing is the kind of shit the Ashfall team has handled themselves.

Idk, maybe a gaggle of ambitious retro-heads could make their own fallout set in Hawaii.
