Oh good one, that's Modern Fae! A woman moves to a remote town in the American southwest to escape a bad breakup, only to find that not only is her new job kinda haunted, the town is entirely made up of people and creatures from myths. It's since lapsed and was an amateur project, but it holds a special place in my heart.

We Are Not Human, My Dear

“You look… different.”

Holly laughed. It wasn’t the laugh he was used to. “I am different. Always have been.” She inspected her fingers. They were a lot more perfect than he remembered them being. Holly was a lot more perfect than he remembered. “Never really fit in with other humans. Turns out, that’s because I’m not one.”

“I don’t understand.” He wondered what was wrong with his friend. She’d always been prone to flights of fantasy… had she finally gone round the bend and started believing them? “

“You will.” Holly stood, her bearing far more regal than he had ever seen. No longer the shy, awkward, anxious girl she used to be. She walked over to him, and he had the unsettling feeling that she was right. “Because you aren’t one either.” Before he could react, her hand was on his forehead and he was on the floor, drifting into a dream state. She knelt by him and spoke. “We’re not humans, we’re changelings. We are Fae, my dear Adam, and we have a Court to rebuild.”
