No one ever mentions the difference between the manga and anime of DN. The major example is that in the anime, Ryuzaki is L and that’s accepted by everyone. In the manga, Ryuzaki claims he’s L and no one believes him. They think they’re separate people, like Ryuzaki is L’s stand in. Of course we as readers know that’s not true, but try telling any of them that. Also, Mogi is also L. So it’s kind of not their fault thinking Ryuzaki isn’t L, especially when there’s apparently three but we only hear about two as the reader.

one of my favorite death note headcannons of mine is that L runs warm which which is why during the yotsuba arc at the task force hq everyone is dressed for colder weather(more layers, thicker clothes). Then, when L dies and everyone is at the new hq, they’re all dressed in lighter(no pun intended) clothing and just generally dressed for slightly warmer weather. Probably because they can actually turn on the heat now lol
