Kongthup's next BL Doctor's Mine released its trailer today and even though I saw the new posters yesterday I almost missed it (because rl sent me a literal storm and I have to help clean up lots of fallen trees tomorrow 😭).
This is the one where they suddenly (and without any explanation) replaced one of the main actors with Lee Long Shi, which is probably why the new trailer is longer than the pilot even though the actual series will premiere on 13 July (sadly, only on VIU with a cut version on youtube but maybe gagaoolala will come to our rescue once more 🙏).
It also looks to be quite oldschool with lots of engineers, their self-proclaimed เมีย/mias and three main couples condensed into one overdramatic but ultimately low-stakes uni BL. I guess the trailer is a good indication of what to expect -- although I'm hoping for the usual Kongthup magic to add a refreshing twist. If anything, at least it'll feel familiar and we get to see more MonPak and Lee Long Shi as part of an entirely new dynamic.
Edited to add: Oh never mind, it's going to be on gagaoolala for interfans (except for Australia, NZ, Japan and Korea).
